   This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Colorado, and an easy contender for the best restaurant in Boulder. Stella's is elegant and classy down to every last detail. The staff is warm and welcoming, the space is beautiful, and the atmosphere is mellow, including the chill, relaxing music. The food is unreal. Every dish is immensely flavorful and true to its roots, and everything has a personal touch from the chef. The bee tartare was particularly mind-boggling.. If you find yourself having a hard time picking just one pasta, I have good news: it's impossible to make a bad choice. Also, get two desserts. The terra-misu and whatever else sounds good to you. Live a little. I was blown away by the quality of our meal (reinforced when we saw how reasonable our bill was) and the overall experience. I can't wait to eat here again.

   This is a wonderful new addition to Boulder's dining choices. From its entryway behind a door marked only by a letter "S," to its lovely dining room with a large bar in its center and a more urban feel then most of Boulder's dining, to its excellent and diverse options of Italian cuisine with a bit of modernist influence, to excellent staff with Stella in the mix, dinner was an excellent experience and one we will revisit soon.

   We love this place. So unlike anything else in Boulder. Celebrated Mother's Day there. My one year old grandson truly enjoyed the risotto with porcini mushrooms. Very upbeat, urban atmosphere.

    You get what you pay for - great ambiance with a quiet atmosphere, great food that's beautifully prepared and WITHOUT SEED OILS - yay! They use olive oil in their sauces and prep. The raviolis were bland which is the only negative. The bread and desserts were amazing and the service was great. Can't wait to come back!

    Most of us liked our food. The service was excellent. But, the whole scene was the most impressive thing. The restaurant's designers managed to create a room that allowed for easy conversation even though it was crowded. The design is also beautiful. I really like this place.     This restaurant sets a new standard on the Front Range in nearly every category. Design, ambience, waitstaff, menu selection, cocktails and price point were all in perfect alignment. This is the third meal we've had there and incredibly, it keeps getting better. Stella herself was there and chatted with our group for a few minutes. A lovely, thoughtful, energetic personality, with an eagle eye on every aspect of the operation. We're headed back on May 18th. Can't wait. The Vitelli Milanese was the best I've had anywhere, including Milan.

    We asked for food without nuts because of an allergy, and it still came with nuts on top. And all of the meals came out cold, and weren't very flavorful. The ambiance was great but overall food and service could have been better.

    Really enjoyed this restaurant. What a great vibe! We got there right when our reservation was set, but the table wasn't ready so they suggested we sit at the beautiful bar. I was almost afraid that they forgot about us, but 10 minutes later we were seated and ordering drinks. Great 3-piece jazz band and very cool artwork. I don't think I've been in a Boulder restaurant with that much energy before. Food was solid, and not too fussy. Pretty good value as well. Will definitely go back!

    This was our first time dining at Stella's. It was excellent. Stella's is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. It is expensive. The food was excellent and presented beautifully. Unfortunately the dessert selection is very limited . We look forward to experiencing Stella's again.

    We had an early reservation. Our server didn’t show up for almost 25 minutes while we waited. The appetizers (beef carpaccio, artichoke and octopus dishes) were very very good. My date and I had 2 types of pasta - 1 was the special with fettuccine, Ragu and truffle. The other was tagliolini with lamb and pomegranate. Both were just average. The tagliolini was definitely the better of the two. The atmosphere is kinda fun. It’s an open, fresh feeling space with some live music.

    Went to Stella’s for the first time last night. It was amazing! Loved the ambiance, food, and had great service. Stepping into Stella’s was like stepping out of Boulder and into a big city scene. There is no other dining experience like it in Boulder. Also, the live DJ was a nice touch as it added a cool vibe to the unique experience without overpowering it. Can’t wait to return!

    First time visit, we loved it. We celebrated my wife's birthday with my daughter and her boyfriend. What a classy addition to Boulder's dining scene! Everything was perfect, the service (Owen) was impeccable, ambiance is other worldly and, of course, the food and drinks were excellent. We started with a variety of appetizers, all were delicious. Our mains were Spinach Ravioli, Lamb w/Tagliolini and Veal (for two), all of which were beautifully presented and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed seeing and talking with James again and wish him the best in this new adventure. We'll be back......
