Very tasty, just unfortunately showed up during a private party as well so the bar area was pretty crowded. Once we moved to the dining area however our server was amazing and she gave great recommendations. The food was awesome too, we would definitely go back!

Great place. Waitress was amazing. Food was nice and hot. Drinkers were well mixed.

It was all excellent especially the food and service which are the two most important things. We would return.

All agreed the pasta dishes were excellent. The Caesar salad was unremarkable. Service was best described as minimalistic. Atmosphere was pretty modern, but with a lot of hard surfaces. It made the noise a bit bright, even for a slow Monday night.

I was very impressed by the decor. Even though it’s a very large space we did not feel lost in it. The food was good, the service was excellent! The only issue we had was that the chairs are not suited for people who are vertically challenged LOL My friend had to ask for a pillow to sit on to bring her up to a comfortable height with the table. The gentleman next to us, who was 5’9” also felt that the chairs were way to low fir the height of the tables

Our server Jessica was great, super friendly and answered our questions about the food and drinks well. She was helping train a new server who was also very friendly. I had the dry aged bone in ribeye that was perfect and my fiancee had the Vodka Marinara that was also very good. I ordered two old fashioneds (one sweet and one sour) and the bartender knocked those both out of the park. We look forward to going back.

We'd highly recommend Stella Van Buren for dinner or brunch. Both were outstanding beginning with the service. We enjoyed the Wagyu Beef, which was done perfectly. The large quantity of mussels had a yummy sauce/seasoning/spice. The Classic Caesar's salad (one of the tastiest in years) was large enough to share. Lastly, the Tagliatelle Bolognese was FANTASTIC!

We LOVED everything about our experience at Stella and will be returning soon.

I was a little disappointed that the beef carpaccio was no longer on the menu, but aside from that the meal was really good, tuna tartare was splendid, the bronzino delicious and the minestrone was very good.

Our environment was skewed with a large gathering event in a portion of the restaurant. The service was incredible and the food was very good. I went for a quiet 2 person dinner and had to shout over the large event on the other side of a curtain.

Was a small bit pricy, but that is what we were looking for. It was a very nice restaurant downtown with excellent Italian dishes. The only thing I would improved is better views out the window. The overall restaurant is wonderful.

It was my first time trying Wagyu beef and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely perfect, our service was excellent, and the restaurant was beautiful.

Beautiful restaurant. Nice ambiance. Not too loud. The Stella old fashioned is a different and delicious take on a Wisconsin classic. The Sazerac was very spicy and sweet but good. The chopped salad was outstanding but somewhat slow to be served considering the restaurant appeared to be at about half capacity and fully staffed at the time. None the less, we enjoyed it. From that point on the service picked up nicely. My wife loved the salmon. I went with the filet prepared medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and the tangy bernaise paired with it well. Sides of smashed potatoes and Parmesan encrusted asparagus were the perfect compliment. We especially liked the asparagus. Because it was my birthday, a complimentary chocolate with cherry and caramel cake was offered. Unfortunately the service took a serious nose dive at that point. We ordered coffee with the desert. A few minutes later the cake was served and the coffee was promised right away. Our server then proceeded to vanish from the restaurant completely, abandoning not only my wife and I but four other tables in our area of the restaurant. For the next twenty five minutes the only restaurant employee to come anywhere near our section was the sommelier. I was on the verge of going in search of some assistance when I noticed our server scurrying across the restaurant and looking nervously in our direction. A few minutes later she appeared with the coffee a full thirty minutes after we ordered it. Unacceptable under any circumstances in a fine dining establishment. Not only did our server drop the ball, but apparently there was nobody in the restaurant to insure that all the bases were covered. It’s a shame that an otherwise good experience went straight down the drain at the end but that’s the unfortunate reality. As I’ve pointed out, this wasn’t just a server issue. Management was missing in action also. We refused the coffee, paid the bill and left disappointed. Great place otherwise.

Disappointed in the food. Brussel Sprouts were drowning in glaze, way too much. Salmon was swimming in citrus flavor with nothing to balance it out.

Food was amazing! The waitress and hostess were very kind and friendly. Great food options and variety.

As always, we had an incredible experience at Stella’s. Food and service was and always has been incredible!

The noise level was so high that my dining partner and I both had to lean across the table to be heard when we tried to speak. It detracted from our romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. We eventual stopped talking and just sat there. By the time dinner was over we each had a headache.

Had kids with us for breakfast and I should have considered the menu before making reservation. Breakfast was very good but did not have much in the way a kid friendly options. That was my mistake not the restaurant. The adult options where very good.

Food was excellent! Service was great and food came fast which was perfect. Arrived with a party of 8, all of us ordered something different and everyone loved their dish.

My husband and I went to Stella Van Buren on Super Bowl Sunday, so it was nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious! The bruschetta and ribeye did not disappoint. Service was great. I made a note in open table that it was our anniversary and the manager made sure to wish us a happy anniversary. It was a nice touch.

Nice location, very open and updated decor. Food was great and cooked to perfection. The only issues we had was a dirty coffee cup and then the coffee refills were delayed due to the waitress not coming with the coffee pot often enough.
