    Stella is the most pleasant restaurant I have ever been to in the country. The place itself is beautifully designed, quiet, and sectioned off for a more private experience. Three different staff members checked on how we were doing several times. The food was to die for as well. I will most definitely be back! Perfect for bringing a date.

    Wonderful Thanksgiving menu with the poached pear salad and pumpkin cheesecake and a chance to order from the main menu or selected specials for the entree. Outstanding service!

    Haven’t been here since pre-CoVID and it was not as I remembered. Very slow service with incorrect items brought and the food appeared that it was under a warning light and was dry. Would not go back.

    Our once in a blue moon date night was anticipated to be a fabulous experience, only to be underwhelmed completely. A pricey restaurant should have a better grip on things. Although the wedge salad was very good, it was the completion of our meal..our steaks ,pasta ,veggies were delivered to us cold…some not even luke warm. We waited for an hour for our food to arrive as well! The manager did graciously comp the food and drinks and a gift card to come back. Hoping the staff learned from our bad experience.

    We were frequent guests before the pandemic. The food and the service were always exceptional! When Stella opened after the pandemic it was disappointing…..not what it was. We decided we’d give it one more chance and are soooo glad we did!!!! The food was exceptional.!!!! You must try the Hot Stone Wagyu appetizer…amazing!!! So was the Burrata Bruschetta. The Barrel cut Filet was cooked to perfection!!! Chef Elgin is exceptional! We can’t leave out the service!!! Angel was exceptional!!! If you have never been, it’s worth your while! If you haven’t been in the last year or so, please try again….you won’t be disappointed!!!

    We picked Stella as kind of a last minute decision to celebrate a promotion. Really loved the ambiance and the view of the city. We had the Wagyu hot plate starter, which was a really neat item on the menu, in addition to being delicious. It does get a bit messy, so I would suggest having a server/runner bring an extra napkin along to wipe up the splatter after. Our main courses were very good; salmon and scallops. We ordered a side of brussels sprouts; also very good. Overall very happy with our meal and dining experience. Minor critique, the menu seemed a bit limited to steaks and a few other options, so it would have been nice if a nightly special was offered. We had recently been to The Capital Grille, so we weren't in the mood for steak and the other non-steak options were minimal but we were happy with our choices.

    We had three of the 4 small plates plus 2 desserts for lunch, and they were great. But the service was downright inattentive considering we were about the only people there. Two employees, including our server, spent at least 10 minutes doing something at the nearby checkout, with us in plain view, before bringing us a check.

    Typically not a damn of Restaurants within hotels, but this was outstanding! The overall service, quality of food, view of downtown Milwaukee, attentiveness of our server and complimentary Prosecco from the manager for our Anniversary made this one of the best nights out!

    Really wanted to like this place. To start drink was wrong and waited told me it wasn’t. I definitely knew it wasn’t what I ordered. Our appetizer burratta brushetta was fantastic! The steak was not very good, the quality of it was not worth the cost. Loved the atmosphere but food wasn’t as high of quality as should have been.

    No spice in the spicy shrimp. No truffle on the buccatini. Very nice server, food was substandard Hotel restaurant, know before you go. Avoid.

    We made a reservation to celebrate our 35th anniversary. While the hostess acknowledged our anniversary, she never mentioned it to our waiter. We ordered the burrata appetizer. It was very tasty but when the dishes were cleared, they also took our silverware. A runner brought out entrées, but no silverware. When we asked, it was clear that this wasn’t her job. Eventually she brought silverware, but not our wine. My husband had the short rib bollainese and I had the salmon. His was good, mine was dry, even after having been told it would be pink in the middle. We ordered coffee. Although they brewed fresh decaf, there were grounds floating on the top and settled on the bottom of the cup. I’m certain we won’t be back.

    meal was outstanding, service was incredible both at the table and the bar, recommended the fried brussel sprouts in brown butter as a side, wedge salad with bacon steak for salad. I had the barrel cut filet and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. My wife had the salmon and loved it. Don't miss out on the desserts they are something special.

    Amazing food especially the dry aged ribeye, but felt more like a business transaction, which is not a bad thing. I believe it’s amazing for what it is. I’ll definitely be back but as a group we’ll probably stick to more small town supper clubs hospitality.

    Nice setting, love the views from 3rd floor. Tried the wagyu meatballs for the first time and they were excellent was pretty surprised. Mash potatoes were excellent side along with the ribeye entree. Good experience
