   We really enjoyed eating outdoors on the patio. Surprisingly not very noisey even though by a busy street. Our waiter was perfectly attentive. My spouse had Halibut Rumesco over clam & bean stew, which was wonderful and the most inventive meal they'd had in years. My Pappradella Bolognese was great. Our waiter was perfectly attentive. We saw a lot of interesting cocktails coming out of the bar. We look forward to eating there again.

   The evening started off great, but instantly took a turn when we’ve arrived at Stella. From constantly getting the order wrong and not remembering what we got, to trying to pull of Manhattans as Old-fashions, to replacing Burrata with Mozzarella and trying to pull it off. What a horrible experience! definitely not worth the 18$ apps and 16$ cocktails. Pretty disappointing

    My friend, my dad, and I went to Stella this past week and it was amazing! All of my expectations were met and even exceeded. Our waitress was very personable and funny. She explained the menu very well and was extremely attentive. The vibe is more of a homey intimate feel inside the restaurant. The food was seasoned to perfection. My dad is someone to always ask for salt and he made it a point to state he never even thought to request salt or pepper. Overall the food was a 10/10. I will definitely be coming back! I was not able to capture a pic of our main dishes because we ate them so fast.

    We enjoyed the lovely star garden. It reminded me of all the small outdoor cafes in Italy. Some of their cocktails were good, others were very bitter and they were pricey. The food was good in concept but felt like it was missing something. The burrata needed more balsamic and salt, the burger needed lettuce or something clean, the Bolognese needed more sauce and less meat. The desserts and espresso were lovely and the atmosphere was very peaceful.

    Prawns and asparagus starter was excellent. Done to a turn and well seasoned. Linguine and clams very consistent with the same dish I had enjoyed during a previous visit. Coconut flan delicious too. Entire meal was very pricey but worth the splurge.

    The "prosciutto" wrapped figs were wrapped in bacon and there were 4 of them after the waiter had told us there were 5. The Dungeness crab stuffed artichoke had no crab in sight- only bread crumbs for $24. it's a rip off. The filet mignon was over done and believe to or not we gave the leftovers to our dog. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir that was listed at $57. but was charged $60. on the bill- didn't bother pointing it out to the waiter and still tipped the 20% but we'll never go back.

    My only critique is that several things on the menu were a little more expensive than they should have been. But other than that, everything was great. Stylish ambience, delicious food, friendly staff…all the makings of a good restaurant. I’m surprised it was not busier.

    I had a horrible time at Stella and let's just say I left completed underwhelmed and embarrassed. I had booked this place for Mother's Day dinner as a treat for my mother in law after seeing how beautiful the star garden terrace was. We arrived exactly at 6pm on time and was seated in the front of the restaurant in a tiny, crowded, and not visual appealing room although I booked the star garden. I had asked my waitress why and they (mentioning they as I don't want to misgender) had said so bluntly that they didn't open today, meanwhile I overheard the other waitress mentioning to the other table that they thought the weather was going to be bad so they closed it but they didn't expect it to be sunny today. Anyways, the food didn't come out until an hour later, LITERALLY AN HOUR LATER AT 7PM, I was so embarrassed and my mother in law was literally starving, she barely eats dinner this late. The food was so underwhelming and not even delicious, the scallops were hard to bite into and chewy and the sauce was sour, my mother in laws steelhead trout was super bland. Didn't even eat the lamb soup. Overall everything was so disgusting but since the waitress obviously had an attitude problem, I didn't want to mention it to take it back in fear of them spitting in my food, lol. So here comes the check and I give a 18% tip (which I regret because the next part) and after I sign, we ask the waitress for a Togo box in which she brings out a paper box for soup, to which my mother in law asked nicely for a container (her English isnt very good) and the waitress gives the most disgusting attitude ever and says " YOU mean a TUBBERWARE" super dirty and bent one, which was obviously rewashed, my mother in law and I were in shock and dissatisfied. We ended up asking the other waitress for one and she brought one spotless and clean. It's so obvious our waitress didn't give a crap after they received their 18% tip and even seems dissatisfied with it as if they deserved 25%?!

    Perfect date restaurant. Limited food offers. Fantastic drinks. Could place more attention on checking in with patrons on details of meal (for instance, pointing any known allergens like dairy, nuts, etc).

    Stella was amazing, delicious, only problem was a chipped glass on my husbands cocktail. They replaced it but could have comped it. Otherwise food and service were great. Loved the buratta with English peas.

    Loved our experience at Stella. The scallops and ravioli were amazing. Putenesca was just ok. John was great as our server and bartender. We sat in the bar as it was more cozy. Staying at the Sorrento and finding Stella’s was a nice surprise. Would definitely eat here again.

    I got there about five minutes before my reservation started and was met at the front by Lex. She was an amazing hostess, was very friendly, kind, and personable. She sat me down, got me a water and a coffee, and told me that my server (Tony) would be with me any second. After about five minutes, I noticed Tony looked directly at me, and proceed to walk by (there was no one else in the area except for me). Between 10-15 minutes, Tony walked by me multiple times with glasses from the back, placing them on a rack and still proceeded to walk by without checking if I needed anything, even when I was looking to get his attention. 15-20 minutes, a couple walked in with a baby, and sat across the way from me. They were immediately waited upon, and had their order taken by another waiter (not sure of his name). 20-25 minutes, two young ladies walked in to be seated, and were seated right next to me. The unknown waiter asks them what they need, and immediately takes their order. I asked him right after if the table I was sitting at was part of someone else’s section, and he proceeded to say that it wasn’t and asked me what my issue was. I told him that I have been waiting there for 25 minutes, and no one had come to see if I needed anything, or if I’ve been helped. I placed an order and then immediately changed my mind and decided to leave. I want Megan to make sure I pay for the coffee, and Lex asked me if everything was OK. I told her the situation, she apologized profusely, and I left. I’m not sure if it were intentional, however being that it was 1015 in the morning, with no one else there, and me being the only one in the section, im not sure what happens. As a black man I didn’t feel comfortable to be left sitting there for 25 minutes with nobody coming to see if I needed anything, while multiple people who were of another race or helped and serviced almost immediately.

    Such a lovely group of rooms with options for finding just the right environment to meet your mood. Chef Caroline is so talented - her recommendation of the strawberry salad was the highlight of our night. John and Min took great care of us and Mitch was there to make us feel welcome. We look forward to our return.

    I had a nice time dining here. I stayed at the hotel so the restaurant was convenient on a night when we were tired after our long day. The food was very good and I liked the style of the restaurant. Our server seemed a little out of it. All in all, good restaurant and easy to make a reservation last minute!

    Stella continues to have a fabulous menu, and the execution of it is flawless. I hear they will be opening the outdoor patio sometime in May! We both had the asparagus with grilled shrimp: delicious!

    My friends and I enjoyed a lovely meal and evening at Stella. The Arancini and the Scallops were really tasty. The Chicken Piccata was excellent as well. We sat by the fireplace and had a relaxing evening.
