The Ghost Light Inn’s restaurant, Stella, is inspired by local ingredients from the region’s best farmers and artisans. The restaurant offers 80 seats with indoor and outdoor tables, and private dining spaces for events and gatherings. The outdoor patio displays sweeping views of the Delaware River. The main dining room offers a mix of freestanding tables and booths.During the winter months, reservations for outdoor tables are not available. However, you are more than welcome to make a note in your reservation that you would like to sit outside. The patio is heated.

Parking in New Hope can be hard to come by. The parking lot located in front of Stella is owned and operated by the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella cannot validate parking. When valet is present the cost to park is $30. When valet is not available, spaces are metered and paid for via the ParkMobile app. 100% of all parking proceeds directly benefits the betterment of the Bucks County Playhouse.

    The brisket sandwiches looked like they were on Martin potato rolls and very, very skimpy with the meat. The flavors were just like a cafeteria. Fries were dry and powdery inside. Eggs Benedict and charcuterie were nothing special. For the ambiance, I guess we just expected more, especially since the restaurants in town are always excellent. Bloody Mary was very good - would return for a drink and perhaps skip food entirely.

    Service from server Tyler was excellent. She was efficient, attentive and personable. Pork chop and chicken were excellent. Dessert options need to be improved. Wine menu is strong. $30 valet parking is excessive and requires more advance notice when making reservations so other parking options can be considered.

    Lovely restaurant for fine dining were it not for a party of 10 that included 4 children under the age of 3. Husband’s heirloom tomato salad was perfection. Spring pea and asparagus salad just ok— dressing was too tart. Duck, pork chop, and Bonzino all delicious but not crazy about the “salad” that the fish was served over. Blueberry dessert was tasty, but I did not like the consistency of the white chocolate “mousse” (the men loved it.) All in all, I thought the food was good, some was wonderful (duck especially) but not worth the high prices.

    Last night was a hit and a miss. The room was quiet. We could all hear our table's conversations. The service staff was very attentive. My first course (spaghetti pie) was absolutely incredible. Regrettably, my entree was not good. Next time we come back for the spaghetti pie, I'm going to try something other than the salmon.

    Location is spectacular. Great atmosphere - contemporary and warm. Our server (Taylor) took excellent care of us. Food was terrific. We were a party of 10 and every dish came to our table warm and delicious and at the same time. Overall just a great experience.

    Great experience as always- only thing that could have been better was that there was an extremely loud wedding going on in the venue while we were trying to have dinner. It’s challenging to have a nice dinner and have a 1:1 conversation with your partner when there’s loud cheers and heavy bass going on in the background. Food and drinks are always stellar here, and wait staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

    The facility, ambience and service were very good. Unfortunately I found the recipes for the food to be overly complex with sauces overpowering the main components of the dish. If I don’t care for the food little else matters.

    Went for a special celebration. While the evening overall was enjoyable, I had booked far in advance and specifically requested outdoor seating. The subsequent emails confirming the reservation made no mention whether my request could be accommodated. arrived with high expectations only to be told we'd be seated inside. The atmosphere was noisy - not what I had pictured for the company and experience I had envisioned. Our waitress was wonderful - very attentive and accommodating!

    It was a STELLA performance!! and we paid THIETY DOLLARS to park (valet) , BUT it was WORTH IT because the proceeds went to the PLAYHPUSE THEATER next door. see you next week !!!

    Waitress was very accommodating and pleasant. It took a while for food to come out. Biscuits were raw but the substituted it for toast Coffee at $5,00 per cup was too much. Frittata was very good

    Three of us went to Stella for a pre-theater dinner. Our server made sure everything was beautifully paced without any rush to showtime at the Bucks County Playhouse. The dinner was delicious, with great flavors and a beautiful presentation. A wonderful experience overall.

    Brunch was delicious. Service good. Disappointed about the parking. No comp to park in $30 lot. That’s something that would keep me away next time. I have eaten at local spots where parking is comped.

    We were able to sit earlier than our 8:15 pm rez, and sat at a great table on the patio. Both hostesses were friendly and greeted us immediately. Our server was super amazing, attentive and knowledgeable about allergy accommodations. Everyone that works at Stella is absolutely wonderful, including the bussers and food runners. A previous server (also amazing and sweet) we had in the past stopped by our table to say “hi!” Made us really feel welcomed :) The food is outstanding, and Stella has become our favorite New Hope restaurant having gone about 6 times now, a mix of holidays, special occasions or just a night out. We started with the local heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad as well as the asparagus and pea salad. Both were bright and super tasty. Hubby had the Parisian Gnocchi starter for his meal, and it was plenty to fill him up, he said it was so good! I enjoyed the sea scallops with lentils and purple cauliflower which ALMOST surpassed a previous memorable dish I had in the past, salmon with pea risotto. Both SO SO good!! We passed on desert, but our sweet server surprised us with a refreshing sorbet to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so thoughtful! Another memorable dinner at Stella!!

    Beautiful outdoor seating. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. Absolutely delicious meal, start to finish. We got the heirloom tomatoes and Gnocchi starters which paired red beautifully and tasted fabulous together. The Gnocchi melted in our mouths. Then the salmon and the duck for entrees. They were prepared to perfection and the combination of flavors on the plate worked well together. Highly recommend.

    My husband , mother in law and I dined at Stella after a matinee show at the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella’s proximity to the theater was perfect. My m-in-l appreciated the elevator as stairs are a problem. We ate on the deck with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was more than helpful with food allergies. She was top notch!!!! We all had amazingly delicious meals. We left with a warm feeling as it was such a pleasant and satisfying evening!!!

    Parking was terrible & expensive. The food was good not great - the bread plate was cold, the appetizer was very good the entrees good to not so good but expensive - especially the sea scallops. Service was attentive at first and then faded away to the point of annoying. This will be the last time we eat here.

     Excellent service, complementary champagne, which was a Great special touch to celebrate an anniversary. Food was good no complaints. The view was pretty but if you can suggest an an outdoor wraparound bar seat i would definitely try, so you can fully enjoy the view.

    We had eggs benedict and the beet salad. The salad didn't seem to have any dressing on it. The benedict was good but the biscuits were very dense and the salad served along with it again seemed to be not dressed at all. Everything seemed fresh, the view was amazing, and the service was good.
