A beautiful art deco Cocktail bar located on the mezzanine level of Stella Rathmines. Once a bustling ballroom in the 1920s, it’s kept all of its old-world charms. The bar serves a full drinks menu that includes delectable, expertly made cocktails and a food menu of delicious lite bites and cinema favourites 7 days a week.

The cocktail menu plays off the classics, but with a modern twist. On occasion, taking inspiration from the blockbuster movies shown in our auditorium.

Whether you want to sip a cocktail and enjoy a bite-to-eat before or after the movie or visit the Stella Cocktail Club as your sole destination, we have all the ingredients for a truly special experience.

    Excellent food before the film. The staff were amazing so friendly and professional. Love going to this cinema. The staff are brilliant and friendly.

    Booked "outdoor terrace" but chose to sit inside instead, not a great terrace. Poor choice of food, both ordered fish, came out a few mins later to say they are out of fish, ordered alternatives, then came back out to say they had 1 fish, so one took that. First meal out was cold and sent back, then fish arrived, batter burnt to a crisp, ate fish out of it as no one came back to the table to see if we were OK. Comped 1 main and 1 dessert when we complained but felt very let down by the entire experience, Would not return I'm afraid, which is a pity as we had a wonderful afternoon at the cinema beforehand.

    A really fantastic experience, from start to finish. The manager is in real good control and knows what he’s doing and how to run a floor. The staff were amazing, the drinks the same. We will definitely be back. Can’t recommend enough.

    Lovely atmosphere, food was luke warm (veggie burger and cheese burger with chips) and churros were raw inside which was disappointing compared to previous experience of food. Cinema afterwards was relaxing and comfortable.

    I brought my boyfriend for his birthday before we went to a movie at the Stella as I had previously enjoyed it. This time around I was a bit disappointed. We came for food and cocktails and while the cocktails were great and tasted amazing, the food and the value for money wasn't great. I ordered a Bacon and Cheese Burger which came out lukewarm at best and completely soggy that you could barely pick it up. My boyfriend got the chicken wings (which came from Elephant and Castle across the road) and garlic and cheese fries and there weren't many complaints. We ordered the Churros to share which for €8 I expected more than 4 churros and a "chocolate sauce" that looked like a hot chocolate and it was nowhere near a sauce consistency that you couldn't dip into it as a watery chocolate drink went on the churros. I had mentioned on the booking it was a birthday but there was no mention of it. We got 3 cocktails, 2 mocktails and the food and for the price I was shocked because it wasn't worth the money at all food-wise. Won't be returning for the food and would still be put off returning for the cocktails based on this experience having previously enjoyed it multiple times.

    Really lovely spot to meet friends or go on a date. Different, lovely ambience. They bring you a complimentary drink and popcorn which is a nice little touch.
