I come here often for lunch either for a business meetings or with friends. The food is always good with great service. Great space. I recommend.
Amazing apps and great pasta dishes. Amazing selection of gelatos for dessert.
Very convenient if you’re shopping in Macy’s. Nice food.
I love love this place. The food is delicious. I recommend this to anyone that loves good food and the desert was a dream come true.
Best hidden secret in NYC!😍
Can’t wait to go again!
This was one of the best Ugly Produce dinners since they began about 4 years ago. It's something we look forward to each year, and this one was fantastic!
From an amuse bouche of artichoke/taleggio profiterole, to butternut squash truffle soup that was different from the butternut squash soup I make at home - but wonderful and flavorful, even considering that I am not (sorry if this is heresy!) a truffle fan, through creative, delicious, beautifully composed, dishes for entree, to an upside-down citrus cake with lemon-thyme sorbet for dessert, this was a superb meal. The beet-infused pasta dish was fantastic; the potato/veggie terrine (or maybe lasagna?!) was amazingly delish.
We didn't take the optional wine pairing, but the glass of Chardonnay I had was super dry my husband enjoyed his glass of Montepulciano.
Four of us participated in the “Ugly Produce is Beautiful” dinner. It was fabulous. We absolutely loved the 4-course dinner with wine pairings. Each course was delicious. We can’t wait for next year to see how the chef will top this year’s event.
This was a truly great meal. We went to the Ugly produce night. Bought into the wine pairings. What a well thought out and innovative menu. Each course was explained, elegant and delicious. So Manhattan, so chic and so beneficial to a good cause.
I have dined at Stella 34 a couple of times. On Wednesday I went to the special Ugly Produce is Beautiful dinner. The menu was delicious. I loved the butternut squash soup and beet pasta. I als enjoyed the wine pairings!
Thank you. Hope to return during Macy’s Flower show.
Very good food and a bright and open atmosphere. Definitely a midtown gem
Restaurant is great and although it is inside Macy's it doesnt feel part of a department store.
Views of the Empire State Building are great and staff superb.
Ordered the lasagna to share and had to play hunt the meat so definitely not worth the $58!!!
Birthday dinner for my aunt. Food was excellent but there wasn’t a lot to chose from.
Perfect on all accounts. We will visit again. Lovely menu choices. Also good for our grandsons, ages 5 and 9. Especially nice was its being close to Penn Station.
Service was excellent. A little pricy for such a limited menu, the food was ok. Won’t be going back. Not worth it.
I had the Branzino and Pane Al Forno. Both were delicious! I have been here many times and will be back. Food is consistently good!
Came to Stella 34 for Saturday prix fixe brunch, which was an excellent deal. 2 almost full size courses followed by dessert. The food is fresh and tasted very good. We were stuffed. It's not crowded there on Saturdays so we had an attentive waitstaff, plus a nice quiet leisurely time to catch up. My friend who hadn't been there before was impressed and said she thought it was a return location!
Greg place to go when at MSG event. Re meal, potatoes and mushrooms for tenderloin steak meal were over cooked.
Otherwise all was VG.
The food was excellent with a wonderful, innovative selection.
Best servers, hot food & an amazing view of the Empire State Building.
The food was great. The service was wonderful and quick too. Very close to our theatre. Would definitely recommend
It pains me to say this, but Stella 34 has gone massively downhill in the past year. I have to preface my review by saying I've been going to Stella for at least a decade and I've always loved it, and so have all of my guests. Something has gone terribly wrong in this establishment. Our server couldn't be bothered, never checked on us, and left our drinks sitting on the bar for 20 mins in our line of sight. I damn near got up and got them myself! She also never brought our change back. However, all of that pales in comparison to how bad the food was. It was inedible. The arancini was ice cold, my eggplant parm was a sloppy, sticky, gloppy, gummy mess, and my friend's chicken was gray in color. I know Patina Group has been having some issues lately overall but the corner cutting at Stella is going to lose them a lot of customers. Additionally, the bread they used to bring you for free now costs $8 if you want it with your meal. My friend and I aren't big complainers, but the quality of the food was so atrocious that we pulled a manager aside. I didn't catch this manager's name, but she was very sweet and comped our bill, so I have nothing but good things to say about her. However, I cannot in good conscience ever return to Stella knowing how bad the food was. What a shame.
Service was slow. Our reservations was for 6:00 pm. They were already out of several things. What we got was more like you would expect at an old Woolworth’s dining counter, and extremely slow in coming. We had to swallow things whole to make an 8:00 concert at Madison Square Garden.
Never would I go back. Don’t waste your time with this place. Worst meal I have ever had in NYC. A Subrette’s and a Coke from the corner stand would have been soooo much better.
I booked this restaurant because of it’s proximity to MSG. What a great find! The atmosphere is modern, light, clean and comfortable. The personnel are friendly and helpful. Our waiter, Tereck, was terrific... busy but attentive and helpful with recommendations. The cocktails and food were outstanding! This will be a go-to restaurant for us!
Always a pleasant meal at Stella’s. We come here often when we come into the city
