Great food and service! Have a view of Empire State Building, good alternative for Korean food in Korean town. Also good for people who shop at Macy
The food was very good with a mix of classics and some innovative dishes. Service was very good - very responsive without hovering. Great location for dinner before an event at the Garden!
Very pleasant, bright, open space - easy to forget we were in Macy’s. We ordered salads for an early dinner prior to a concert at MSG. My husband’s chicken Caesar salad could have been a more generous serving but it was enjoyable. My chopped salad with shrimp was very good. Service was attentive.
Good food in a wonderful setting, and with a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. And I love department store restaurants!
Very fine and anthentic italian kitchen, amazing in a department store ! We'll be back to try other plates !
Right in the middle of Macy's. I didn't know what to expect. What I found was a delightful cafe, very relaxed with a touch of low key elegance. Comfy tables, nice view, good service, not crowded. Surprisingly good food. Although menu is small, it has nice variety and a good wine list. A find!
A lovely dinner with views of the Empire State Building.
Good was well prepared and plated. Cresto de Gallo pasta and swordfish entrees were excellent.
Staff was pleasant and professional.
This is my “go to” restaurant near Penn Station. Love the express elevator from Macy’s 33rd/6thAve entrance.
Very nice ambiance. Had gone for lunch and the three of us shared the Primavera pizza, and had the amaretto cheesecake and a maple pecan gelato. Both the desserts were delicious -definitely recommend them. Food came quickly.
Very reasonably priced.
Stella 34 Trattoria was a great dining experience! We visited this past weekend for Mother's Day brunch, which also happened to be my father's birthday. The service was great. The Mother's Day brunch pre-fixe menu was fantastic and well priced. They even gave moms a treat to take home from their amazing pastry chef. Food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our meal with a beautiful backdrop of the ESB.
Had reservations and they sat us at the very end of the restaurant where the open fires are for Pizza, very hot area would prefer to sit in more central location. Staff great food very good. Love their small plates and recommend them highly. Check with tip was almost $400.00 for 4 people with twp bottles of wine, I guess that brought it up.
Their appetizers are delicious. I’ve tried most of them was not disappointed. Love their pizza options - unique combinations. The newest addition is the ramp one and it was delicious. The Vongole pizza is one of my favorites. Forget the fancy desserts - the gelato is satisfying. The best pistachio gelato I’ve ever tasted - have not found one that comes close to it.
It was just OK...good location for an event at the Garden
I’m s regular... consistent quality food and service keeps me coming back for more.
Too expensive for portions and food quality. I go to Stella’s often and although convenient I can do better elsewhere.
The pea salad was really very good! The ramp pizza was intriguing, and I would have liked more help with wine selection to match this dish. I ordered a red b/c of the bacon, but in retrospect the pizza had real veg notes, so I think I should have ordered a white.
Service was very slow.
Stella 34 went above and beyond to make my granddaughter’s birthday very special. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly and very accommodating. This is definitely a hidden gem! Who would have thought it was in Macy’s?
Thank you, Stella 34 for creating a memorable day.
I seldom give reviews, but this restaurant was perfect. The best branzino I've had. It was lightly garnished, with a delicate texture. For an appetizer we had a very tasty Carciofini (baby artichoke). All the food was expertly prepared and delicious.
Terrific menu. We had a hard time choosing from all the great items. We settled on sampling several small plates and shared them which is great to do. The eggplant entree was to die for! Would definitely return. There's not much in that area of the city that we would consider great restaurants, so a great find!
Excellent food! Great service! Great value!
Very nice clean server was very good.
A wonderful lunch in an atmosphere that allowed us to catch up with each other without being rushed. A first time experience for my friend. She loved it. We'll be back!!!
What a special evening for my daughter's birthday. Beautiful view of the Empire State Building, delicious food and excellent service. Thank you!
The service wasn’t good, the waitress isn’t experience... and the food was good but not great.
Way too high priced for three salads. Food was great. Service was very slow.
Food good but limited menu. Very few real restaurants in this neighborhood, so It served the
Delicious food always!
Good food. Good environment. Nice view. The ony odd part is that the waiter did not took our plates before bringing our cards to sign and pay.
We were surprised how much we enjoyed this restaurant. We chose it because we needed to accommodate eight people near Penn Station. However, the food was very good and fresh. The space featured a lovely view of Midtown. The restaurant is actually in Macy's, just past the bedding department. However, once you're inside, you wouldn't know you're in the store at all. Because the restaurant is large and filled with beautiful lite, it's an ideal place to meet a large group. Also, my guess is that the restaurant's view of the skyline must be wonderful at night.
Great midtown spot for after shopping lunch, coffee, dinner. Service impeccable. Ambience really nice, good layout, great views, clean, modern, quick. Good wine selection. Menu caters to almost everyone with both vegetarian and meat selections. Food taste was good- a little bland in my opinion but still good. portion sizes were perfect- a little on the large side actually. I ordered grilled sea bass but it wasn't as crisp as I would have liked. but thats a personal opinion. Otherwise the other dishes ordered tasted good. Desert- gelato was delicious. Good spot for business lunch or dinner.
The atmosphere is very comfortable. I like the bright and roomy environment. We ordered calamari fritti for one of our appetizers, but it is very small. Staffs are friendly.
What a jewel in the middle of the Frame t District. Wonderful food and warm cordial servers. I will eat here every time I visit NYC.
Wonderful prix fix menu for lunch, just superb, rock shrimp was delicious, tomato soup devine, gelato with espresso nice finish, I’ll be back of course:)
excellent quality, amazing taste and very authentic
I wasn't crazy how we were they were kicking us out cause the elevator or Macy's was closing. That's a deal breaker when dining late. Definitely not a spot to hang around after dinner.
A nice gem. Good food and good location.
had the salad for lunch with the shrimp
it was fantastic
service is always great there
Food is wonderful but short staff leaves something to be desired at the service level-- the supervisory staff was helping -- but...
Todo súper bien
Happy to say that the food continues to be excellent here, and prices are still very affordable. The view of the skyline makes it possible to imagine yourself in the 1930s. Be sure to try the gelato--it's the best outside of Italy!
