Everything was so good! Service was excellent. As some who doesn’t it gluten I’m always nervous to try new things, but they were knowledgeable and had times marked on menu
Great food, great friendly service, waitress very knowledgeable of menu, absolutely delightful. We will be back
Our first time won't be the last. What a wonderful new addition to the Boise area dining scene. We were there for lunch so it was very quiet. It isn't a large dining room so I expect it is a bit more lively and loud when it is full for dinner service. Everything we ordered was excellent. I can't recommend one thing over another but, the chicken noodle soup was probably the best I have had anywhere. We can't wait to return.
Tapa are small portions but for the price these were terrible
We had a wonderful lunch at Stefano's yesterday. The menu is so good, it was hard to decide what to try. The food was great as well as the service. Very cozy interior. Don't be fooled by the look of the exterior. Wine and food prices were reasonable.
So glad to have another restaurant choice that is independently owned. I will be back!
First time doing tapas. Server was very helpful and guided us. Will come back!
Stefano's had some of the most thoughtful flavors we've found in Boise. Tapas style dining was something we came to love while living in Spain, and Stefano's has embraced that style with great choices. The flavors are lively, and the server was informed and helpful. Probably not a great menu for kids, but a fabulous choice for adults looking for a bit of culinary exploration.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Stephanos. It was a little bit pricey, but the food was amazing.
Great Service! Incredible food!
We ate at Stefano's for the first time around 7:00 on a Saturday night. We were pleased to see it was busy, as a new place in a shopping center, but not too loud. The menu is Mediterranean and offers small, medium, and large plates. We shared the small falafel and medium stuffed calamari plates as appetizers. My husband had the grilled tuna large plate, and I had the shory ribs. The calamari was excellent, stuffed with chorizo and grilled. The falafel, though, was a bit dry and under seasoned. The mains were quite good and beautifully presented. The baklava for dessert was a little doughy in places, but nice and cinnamon-y. All new restaurants need a settling-in period, but we will definitely be back. Stefano's is a promising new addition to the Eagle restaurant scene.
Great dining experience. Delicious tapas with good quality ingredients. Disappointed with paella. Short rib was outstanding!
love the tapas concept and there are some that are small, medium and large. A wonderful variety that includes some Spanish dishes as well, not just traditional Mediterranean. This is the same chef from the restaurant in McCall and Donnelly.
We really enjoyed our evening. There were not many diners, so it was pretty quiet. We tried several things and everything was quite tasty. The crispy zucchini was sliced very thin and cooked perfectly, the gnocchi was tender and the gorgonzola sauce rich and creamy. The presentation of the creme caramel flan with intricate sugar decor was beautiful and enough for two to share. The server was helpful and knowledgeable when we asked questions about the various dishes. My only thought to share was to soften the light a bit and add a couple of splashes of color to make the perfect date night atmosphere. Thanks for a wonderful time!
Our first time—good flavors, will definitely go back
Chef Steve Topple has done it again with his newest restaurant and first in the Boise area. (Others are in McCall, Donnelly, and Caldwell). Incredibly delicious tapas! Good variety of flavors. Can’t wait to go back and try some other plates.
Food was good but felt rushed by our server. Very friendly and helpful, but constantly at the table. The interior is a small box without much room between tables. Will return again for food but hope for a better overall dining experience.
Our first time there and we will be back! Amazing food and service, reasonable prices.
Another winner for Chef Topple.
So glad you are in Eagle.
Three of us had dinner there last night and we all agreed that we loved it and would return soon. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server could not have been more helpful. So glad they are in Eagle.
Really enjoyed the time. Service was good, not refined, but friendly and pleasant. Food was delicious, the Falafel were undercooked but they did not remove the cost die the bill unfortunately. Definitely go back.
Chef Topple has done it again!
Great flavors on each dish that stand alone and foodie approved. Bring friends & share Tapas!
From beet salad, bacon wrapped dates, flatbread & New York steak to name a few. So much yummy goodness @Stefanos!
Don’t forget the chocolate bread pudding with vanilla gelato!
1st visit to Stefano's Tapas. Very nice clean place. Friendly servers & very helpful with the food selections. Food is small portions. If you want a big meal, you will have to get more than one Tapas. Portion size for me was perfect, but not for my husband. It's expensive like going to Ruth's Chris Steak House or Chandlers but only getting half the food, but the food is excellent. Good selection of wine & very nice atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the total experience.
Delicious food with so many tapas choices.
Tapas with a friend. Expected a few more tapas options. Dishes we tried we good but a little pricey.
Seafood paella was great; salmon was good; bacon wrapped dates were good; beet baklava was good; flan was great!
Server was very friendly & attentive.
Atmosphere was nice/casual. Nice selection of wines & beer.
Fantastic food and excellent service. We were given recommendations on the Tapas and staff was very knowledgeable about the wine selection.
The food was amazing!
Excellent seafood paella prepared perfect for 2 good size portion.
Appetizer lamb meatballs very good.
Beet salad shared excellent as well.
Delightful staff. The surrounding are cafe style with tablecloths
Good wine list by the glass and bottle
Happy to have Stefano’s close by,looking forward to our next visit.
Well prepared and interesting dishes. Wait staff was personable and efficient. Will be a favorite location for us.
This place was amazing! Every dish we chose was perfect and the staff was attentive. For only the second day open I was highly impressed! Great job Chef of your 5th restaurant!
A great addition to the Eagle restaurant scene. We enjoyed sharing our orders tapas-style. The menu is diverse and very interesting, and the house-made desserts were delicious - the churros are particularly noteworthy; probably the best churros I’ve had anywhere ever. Bright decor, nice ambiance with linens on the tables, and friendly service.
Finally, there is some culinary creativity in Boise/Eagle. For a reasonable dollar amount, we enjoyed new flavors prepared in a sophisticated way. I am so glad that a new restaurant opened that is NOT just another burger place. We sampled lots of flavors - zucchini and mint, beef short ribs with gorgonzola, and melty mushroom ravioli. In my opinion, you should avoid the downtown "typical" and find this little nook in Eagle. It's so much better than Idaho's everywhere breweries. How refreshing to have a meal flavored with herbs and fresh ingredients. Go! Seriously. It was the best dinner we have had in Boise in a loooooong time.
Amazing food!! The live music was a beautiful ambiance too. Will be back!
