We are a new restaurant owned by the Michelin recommended Gia Restaurant, and we specialize in plant-based cuisine.
Our menu features classic dishes reimagined with a plant-based approach. You can enjoy items like our Focaccia, Mozzarella sticks, Baby Gem Salad, Garlic knots, Arancini, Lion's Mane Steak, Chicken Parmigiana, and Lasagna
WEEKEND BRUNCH we open at 10 am serving Eggs Benny, BLTs, French Toast, Matcha Lattes, sandwiches, and fresh juice. We accept bar reservations and early reservations for brunch.
The ambiance of Stefano's Diner is upscale, with micro cemented walls and floors complemented by a walnut and olive green banquette that provides comfortable seating throughout most of the space. We also offer a selection of vegan wines, cocktails, and mocktails.
We are open late on Fridays and Saturdays until 11:45 PM. Additionally, our HAPPY HOUR runs from 3-5 PM, Monday to Friday.
Walk-ins are always welcome.

It was a 40 minute wait to get our food. My mum ordered the mushroom peppercorn dish and considering that it was $32 (the most expensive thing on the menu) I would have expected it to be bigger or more filling. She told me later that her heart shrunk when she saw how small it was, though she did enjoy it. My dad got a smash burger. He didn't say how it was, but I know my dad and if he had loved it, he would have said so. The noise level was too high unfortunately, the music was too loud. It was hard for my dad to hear. Also, because of the 40 minute wait, he was getting restless. The eggplant sandwich was phenomenal though, and the brussel sprouts were delicious. Those dishes were both worth the money. The mozzarella sticks were quite good too, but there were too few of them to be worth their price. If there had been 3 more of them, it would have been worth it. I won't go back with my parents because it was too expensive and my dad found it too loud to hear. This was an early father's day celebration, so I'm honestly quite disappointed that it didn't live up to my expectations. I really wanted my dad to enjoy himself and I don't think he did. However, the eggplant sandwich was delicious and worth the money, so I might come back with a friend during happy hour just for that sandwich. The server was a really lovely guy. Super warm energy and friendly. Don't know his name but he was great.

It was pretty busy in the restaurant and took a while for anyone to take our drink orders. That being once the orders were taken it was quick to get the drinks. The food was and always is excellent, it has become our go to spot. We were there 2 twice this week. I hoping Joel would be working as he is a great server and very personable, but alas no Joel. Maybe next time. Thanks a bunch

So happy to have a vegan diner in the city! Food is approachable to both vegans and non-vegans alike. Just good food! Service was amazing too.

Nice diner with an upscale feel. Great food and excellent service. We will be going back again. Meatballs appetizer is a must!!!

Great for those looking for a "classy" vegan meal. Short menu has enough choice; unlike some other vegan restaurants Stefano makes dishes that mostly mimic regular dishes. For example vegan chicken ptarmigan. Friendly staff, efficient service, nice selection of local craft beer, lots of wine choices.

Delicious food and wonderful service! We loved ordering anything without worrying about dietary restrictions; the mocktails were yummy, the dinner lovely, and the bread pudding for dessert was TO DIE FOR.

Looked forward to this restaurant as a vegan option when travelling to Toronto ever since I first found it online. The food was excellent and I will be returning next time I'm back in Toronto to try more of the menu.

The prix fixe Valentine's menu was delicious especially the butternut squash ravioli but everything was great. Service was attentive but not instrusive.
