If it wasn’t for the okay sushi, I would have rated this place a solid 2, at best. 7:15 on a Saturday night and there was four tables in the restaurant, yet the service was extremely slow. Outside of the frat boys they sat beside us, the restaurant was oddly quiet. If you’re looking for good ambience, experience and sushi creations, don’t go here. Go to Uchi or Shoyo. We won’t be back and will not recommend.

Amazing service and quality. The servers were kind and not invasive. They kept in mind what I had asked for as well which caught my attention.

Wonderful dinner experience! Everything was excellent! Couple cons …. Parking iffy, They have valet and didn’t know it… it’s not marked nor did the guy have something on at least saying valet. He was just a guy sitting outside on his phone. Also, drink prices a bit high. Good selection of wine by glass but wish they had been a bit more responsible.

I haven't been to Steel for a while now and I realize how much I have missed it. The food was outstanding. As a matter of fact it was the best Asian food I have had in a long time. If you don't try the Sea Bass you are missing out. And I tried a new Sushi Roll that I haven't tried before. All I can say is "long live Mt. Fuji" (the name of the roll). Overall excellent and I would suggest that others don't make the same mistake that I did and not go back for a while.

I had the most amazing 30th birthday dinner with my family here. The food was amazing, the service was incredible, definitely the hidden gem of sushi spots in Dallas!!

Waited over an hour and half for our sushi. Everyone was being served. They stilled tried to bill us for the food they never brought.

It was wonderful! All of the food was so flavorful and beautifully presented! The service was amazing—love that they replaced plates 3 times. It’s been around so long, but the menu and ambiance is so current and fresh. You have to go!
