We offer pregame specials and weekly entertainment for you and your friends to come and party! We are a family-friendly establishment, and look forward to hosting you and your children for some fun! We provide a Canadian take on traditional German-style foods. Using fresh, local ingredients while building memorable culinary experiences, Chef Calvin has put together a menu that includes traditional German fare like pretzels, chicken schnitzel and roast pork hock, with modern features like vegetarian and vegan dishes to suit all dietary needs.

    Loved it! Really good food and atmosphere! Small compared to size of property etc. Only downside was they don't accept cash. I won't support anyone who wants us to be a cashless society

    Watching staff in the kitchen eat from plates and use their bare hands to put fries on plates. The waitress was hitting on a co-worker and not paying attention to the customers. Food was just awful no flavour and over priced. So overrated!

    My husband and I visited while in town for his birthday. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were polite and attentive. They had a two hour maximum at the table (which seems pretty common these days). We knew we were getting close to our time but they did not rush us and let us finish up our drinks. We snacked on a pretzel. Wish I had been more hungry as many of the items on the menu looked great.

    Always LOVE coming here for a drink and a great time, but devastated to say that the food is going seriously downhill. Our kale salad was so underdressed that it was borderline inedible, and the fries were thin and soggy. Shnitzel also very under seasoned, but a great serving size. Bring back the poutine! Service, as always, was fantastic though.

    Very loud. Could barely here the other person I was at dinner. It was expensive for food. More of an atmospheric experience. Little to no options. Service was good. Just wasn't worth what we paid.

    Highly recommend the Steam Whistle Biergarten. They have an excellent staff and a really good chef as the food was amazing. If you like beer their micro brews are really good.

    Best place in the city. Exceptional staff and customer service, equally met by delicious food and the unfiltered Pilsner, which is exclusive to the roundhouse biergarten experience.

    First time coming but I am in love of the place. The atmosphere is vibrant and active. Meanwhile the service is phenomenal. We come with a toddler, and our server Meg was the most consider server I’ve encountered in Toronto. For example, she was kind enough to come by first and take an order just for the kids meal so the toddler wouldn’t be hungry and cranky. She then came back a few more times just to see if the toddler has more need such as ketchup or juice. The place was full with all tables occupied, so it’s not like she has nothing to do. She made an effort understanding how difficult it is to dine out with a young child. She is clearly experienced and considerate. Basically made our night with her service. We will definitely come back just for the service. Good was fresh and original. No complaints whatsoever!

    Great food and service, but watch out for pricing! Came for the Valentine's Day experience. Oysters were fresh and high quality, beef tartare was well-seasoned. Chicken was delicious and moist, and the strudel was excellent. However, the experience as advertised started that the fee included tax and service charges. When we went to pay, however, we were charged both. I don't mind giving some more tips, but this was pretty misleading.

    We had a wonderful experience at steam whistle biergarten. Our server Zach was amazing and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the steam whistle experience to anyone that visits Toronto. We loved the unfiltered lager! 🍻 cheers

    Had a fantastic time- excellent live music, cute Christmas decor, great food & beer, and friendly service. We both got the fish sandwich and ordered a second one because it was that good! The Leafs were even playing in the background.

    Service was great - upbeat and cheery and very willing to ensure we had a great time and we had what we needed. Tried the Kale and smoked trout - so very good, even without the spicy Boursin which i couldn't use. Banquet Burger was perfect for husband. Tables and Seats were unexpected and not that comfortable to sit on for a longer period of time.
