   We went for a meal before going to a show. The food and atmosphere were good. My only complaint is that it was kind of dirty. I had to wipe the chair down before sitting on it and our table was in bed of a good wipe down. Love the river view though!

   Our server was friendly but was not knowledgeable about the food. He seemed to take care of a lot of tables. The soup was just warm - hot. Food was just okay. Oysters were just okay. Large groups (there were three) were in the “dining room” and we were tucked away on the side. We’ve dined here before and the food was better.

   Food was excellently prepared and served. It was a pre-theater dinner, and the server worked to ensure we were done in plenty of time to get to the show. We had to ask in the lobby of the hotel, how to get to the restaurant. Since the front desk was busy, we had to wait to ask for help. There were no markings to the only elevator (built in an out of sight alcove) anywhere visible. It shouldn't be so difficult to find.

   AJ , our server was great. The Belgian waffles were yummy, the hangover dish was a little dry but otherwise good. We enjoyed our visit.

   We were seated to have a nice view of the river! Our server, Jonathan, was personable and reasonably attentive. My wife and mom really loved the scallops! The Caesar salad was good too, though the added salmon could have been cooked a little longer. Overall, a nice experience!

   Beautiful view. Ordered the short ribs, meat was very dry & tough. Sent it back, did take money off the bill. Service was very good.

   Really expected more food wasn’t all that good, husband had chicken and it was dry I had pasta seemed to have been old- noodles were hard i. Areas. The sire outside was Georgeous looking at the Cape Fear River

   Food was excellent and plenty of it. Didn't expect that large of servings. Will definitely be back to try everything else.

   We chose this restaurant primarily for the proximity to the the Wilson Center. My wife, myself and another couple have 4;45 reservations. We arrived and were seated by the window overlooking the river. Normally one would think the preferred location - except the sun was starting to set and the the blinds had to be closed - so much for the view. We intended to order off of the prefix menu - but ended up ordering from the standard menu. A round of drinks were order and were very good. For appetizers we had ordered a Caesar salad - under dressed and bland, The blue crab & corn soup - which was fine. The drunken mussels on the other hand - very small portion and extremely salty to the point of telling our waiter (which did not receive an acknowledgement). For our main entrées we had Diver Scallops - again bland. The Seafood Pasta - which she enjoyed and and Short Rib - there were okay - didn't fall apart as you might expect. We had noticed other tables had received a bread service - but need to ask for ours. Our bill arrive before we asked about coffee and desert. For the price we are less then enthused - not likely to return or recommend.

    We ordered the 3 course theater dinner and it was wonderful. Our waitress was outstanding!
