Service was very slow. Staff didn’t recognize an anniversary as noted in the reservations. We were not seated in the area we requested. Overpriced for the experience.

We were excited to try Steakhouse Bourbonne! There were 6 of us. We started at the roof top bar. We got there at 5:30. The DJ was very loud which is fine around a pool, the music was not great, think loud thumping. Who knows, could have been our age, but we go to a lot of concerts and this was just not good. The bar staff was nice. The espresso martini was good, not thrilled with the bartender pushing down the beans with his fingers in my drink. Margarita was housemate, tart but we liked it! Beautifully decorated! The doors were open to the inside bar so note if you go it will still be hot inside. We then went to the first floor for our reservation at 7PM. The table was ready on time, nice decor and the the hostesses were welcoming. Our server was very nice but if you have problem with being called sweetheart or love you won't be thrilled. We just laughed it off. We started with Croissant roll. It was good, denser than we would have thought but we all really enjoyed it. We all got wedge salads. Not impressed at all with these! Very few lardons, the dressing was very thin in consistency and you couldn't even tell it was blue cheese. Two of us ordered mushroom pasta. It was very salty! We love salt but you could taste the salt that was added even after cooking. The consistency was good, the pasta tasted fresh. A very small portion for an entree. We usually always have leftovers, not here. One friend got the salmon and loved it, the succotash was also great! Another had a filet, he said it was cooked perfectly and very good. The two others had the short rib. It was just a hunk of meat on your plate, no jus or gravy at all. The one stalk of broccolini was so tough you couldn't cut it. You needed a knife to cut the meat which we had to ask for, with a short rib it should just fall apart. At this point we were so disappointed we did not order dessert. It was very overpriced for what you received. Much better places in Louisville.

Our evening started off a bit slow as we waited to get our drinks ordered, but everything changed once we realized our server was Robbie, we’ve had him before at another place and knew we were in good hands. From that moment on, the experience was seamless. The food was absolutely exceptional, and Robbie’s thoughtful recommendations and outstanding service truly elevated the night. We can’t wait to come back!

New steakhouse in town. I have to say with all the great steakhouses in town, I was hoping to be more impressed. Maybe since they recently opened and still working on getting things ramped up. Nice new hotel in downtown Louisville but overall underwhelming with the food.

Beautiful restaurant. Excellent food although my wife didn’t love the new lobster pasta compared to the previous lobster ravioli which she really loved. There were only 2 desserts available and both had nuts which we have an allergy for so that was disappointing. A great addition to the Louisville dining scene.

It was great! A bit overpriced for the selections but it was good for the most part. Some of my party complained at how bland the food tasted. But once recooked the steak was cooked to perfection.

Over priced Food is good but not for the price you have to pay its nothing exceptional, drink options are not the best, service is ok but leaves you wondering how it could be better. Will suggest better reception, more dessert options place like this should not run out of stuff… Over all good experience, will i go again? No.

My review is really for OpenTable. The steakhouse doesn't open until 5pm, yet they had a 3pm reservation available. That ought not have been. So, I went to the rooftop restaurant instead. The food was good, great vibe, awesome DJ and our server, Casey, turned what could have been a miserable experience into a great one. The manager, Jason, apologized and comped my meal, which I greatly appreciate. He also gave me his card and encouraged me to return and to let him know when I do.
