   We visited your restaurant for the first time the evening of the Oaks. Service was slow, and not at all already and prepared for a busy event. The food was good, but just our drinks alone we sat for an hour. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, but we were very disappointed by the service, and how they handled the busy night we would not go back.

   This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a fine dining establishment. A 10 + min wait for our server, 20 mins for our first cocktail, 60 mins wait for entrees and a second round of cocktails never arrived. When entrees finally did arrive, our sides didn’t come nor did a steak knife so I couldn’t even cut my $80 filet. By the time I got a knife it was cool. Server disappeared for 15 mins at a time and kept making excuses that the bar was behind. When the manager was finally summoned he apologized but offered no explanation. We never got a second cocktail or our sides and were offered $125 off the bill which still left us with over $200 for a meal we only got a portion of. Several other tables were just as exasperated as they waited hours for their food as well. I know this place is new but it was a big night for the city and they were not close to prepared. To top it off, the menu was limited and the steak prices ranged from $90 to $150 (a la carte)! At this price point, the experience was nothing short of abysmal.

   Best new restaurant in town! Food was amazing but especially the side dishes, might be the best options available in a Louisville steakhouse. A perfect Derby week meal! Can’t wait to go back!

   Excellent food. Service was a bit crude, mostly due to new staff not knowing the layout of the tables. We kept getting food meant for other tables. At one point a waiter brought a take home bag for another table to our waiter while he was in the middle of taking our order. Our waiter was rightfully frustrated and apologetic.

   Fabulous experience at Steakhouse Bourré Bonne! Welcoming staff, attentive server, and an engaging chef coming out to greet guests and receive opinions. We traveled with two very persnickety children who claimed it was the best meal they'd ever had! The steaks were phenomenal, well seasoned and cooked to perfection - infrared flame to create a beautiful exterior, and finished at a lower temp to reach the desired doneness. Sides and salads were excellent accompaniments. We got rave reviews from the aforementioned persnickety eaters on the croissant loaf. Best meal we've had in Louisville in a long time!

   Had a great dinner at Bourre Bonne! Levi provided excellent service and was very helpful with the menu and choices. All the food was very flavorful and fresh. Oysters and Shrimp Cocktail very fresh and good accompaniments. Wedge salad was one of the bests we’ve had. Filet had great flavor and served with fresh garlic, onion and pepper. Broccoli gratin was great and lemon tart perfect. Had a wonderful experience.

   Fantastic food and service! We all had three filet mignon and they were cooked to perfection. They have a variety of different main courses and sides. We will be back to try the lobster ravioli. Drinks were all wonderful. The bread is over the top delicious. The millionaire mac and cheese is light and a must have. Dessert was off the chain... we shared two with the three of us. Lemon tart and the chocolate s'mores was EXTREMELY memorable!! Delicious. On a side note the place is HUGE and beautiful. WELL done!

    It was wonderful. They are still working on the menu which was delicious and will only get better!
