   For a place that specialises in steak, our porterhouse steak was not that special. Entre of fruit meat was good, one fish cake was overpriced.

   The service was bad. I ordered a wine that never got delivered but it was added to the bill twice, when I raised the problem never go any comment or apology, just the new bill. For the amount of money they charged me, compare to the quality of the food and service. I am not coming back ever again

   Dined here last night with a friend. The steaks were great & cooked perfectly. We had add on sides of fries & the quinoa salad which was really good too. The price is a little steep but we enjoyed the restaurant and would go back.

   Excellent service. Friendly, helpful and professional. We really enjoy having dinner last Sunday for Mothers day dinner. We thought the food was amazing and generous portion too. We love it and highly recommend this place 😊

   Steak exceptional. Salad standard. The house fries were underwhelming.would go again for the steak. Desert and hot drinks terrible. Pros - steak does not dissappoint Cons - desert overpriced and average. Coffee was returned as was probably the worst coffee I have ever had. Then ordered a tea and they use twinings! Returned the tea - bland and tasted terrible. Such a shame

   The steak was good which is the main thing but the drinks service was appalling. We had to repeatedly ask multiple staff to get a drink order delivered when we were first seated.

    The staff were just fantastic, the food did not take long to come out and was delicious. After an Entrée and Main we were too full for Dessert BUT the surrounding tables that did indulge their Desserts looked amazing.

    The advertised prices for a steak online range from $38-$75 but when you get there the prices are $55-$90 !!!!!! And its just for a steak on a plate, you have to pay extra for sauce and extra for sides ……… absolutely ridiculous !!!!!! Overpriced, tired decor, unhygienic use of timber trays for your cutlery….. there’s no way they clean them - crevices are too small …. Not worth the money or time to go

    Service was excellent and our waiter very knowledgeable. Food was good but very expensive steaks which I don’t believe were value for money. Korean coleslaw was amazing! Venue was quiet for Saturday lunch.

    To summarise my dinner at Steak Ministry, I’d simply say “fantastic”. Lovely ambience inside the venue, although slightly noisy at times, still very good. I ordered wagyu steak, it was cooked to perfection. Our table also ordered lamb & chicken ribs as a starter, the lamb ribs were incredible, the chicken ribs very nice as well. The wait staff had forgotten my tables drinks, we didn’t receive them until after the mains arrived, I had to ask again for the drinks when our main meals came to our table. Despite this, I’d say the all round experience was still very good. I’d recommend this place to anyone/everyone! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

    This place was recommended to me from a good friend, so I took the opportunity to take my partner there and it was a let down. Cold and dark and the food was average, service was very poor as we ended up having to pour our own wine and clear the table.

    Not what it’s made out to be. Totally overpriced and completely underwhelming. We ordered: 1/2 dozen natural oysters 2 x wagyu fillet steaks medium 2x blue cheese sauce 1x mushroom sauce 1 x shoe string fries 1 x veggies Wagyu was completely chewy and I wonder it actually was wagyu. Completely tasteless, no salt on the table and pepper shaker empty. Side of veggies, which had some blob of a sauce in it which looked like a baby had thrown up in it. Blue cheese sauce was literally blue cheese mashed with a fork. Mushroom sauce - NO Mushroom taste at all. 1/2 dozen oysters - perfect! cos - well - only shucked. Overall, the place is extremely overpriced and a complete disappointment. Not coming back ever again!

    Steak was tough and over priced. When we told staff they didn’t seem to care. Charged us $350 and no one finished their food. I 100% do not recommend this place.

    Over all can't go wrong with Gerrard Velupillai restaurants. Been there few times with friends and a date. Amazing steak with mushroom sauces and Garlic butter sauces. Can't go wrong with friends who love steak.

    Fries were burnt many brown bits, it was obvious No explanation when entree and mains arrived which is which, we had share plates Waitor (bald short white male) was "tossing" stuff on the table, not placing them down property

    We were told that we cannot do alfresco dining even if booked earlier. As we insisted then the person agreed. I think this is not helpful behaviour for patrons. The food and table service were good.

    Restaurant was great 5⭐ Food was wonderful 5⭐ Steak cooked to perfection! Service was great 5⭐ The only one I didn't like was the knifes which were blunt and very hard to cut the steak. When you have wonderful steak in front of you and struggling to cut it, so frustrating. Overall very satisfied!

    The Steak Ministry promises a lot but really failed to deliver, the service intensity was good but there was a lot of people standing around not really doing a lot. Had to ask multiple times for drinks, water refill etc. Entrée plates took forever to be cleared. The entrée was very average, we had the pork crackle which was like an overpriced prawn cracker that was tasteless and 3 oysters which cost $17. They were way over salted. The kids menu looked great, but the food was again average. Dry Pork ribs with an average tasting rub, the calamari was ok and the ice cream was also good. The main food was equally average, a $90 Wagyu Scotch that was slightly overcooked but wasn't cooked at a high enough temp meaning it had a slightly boiled taste, very disappointing for the money. Chips were ok, mixed vegetables were average - overcooked, the rib eye was passable. The mushroom sauce was good but failed to make up for the average steaks. All in all a disappointing evening.
