The food was hit and miss, the service was very slow. Very disappointed overall. Our server did his best to save the evening, but the kitchen was a major let down. French onion soup tasted like water, sashimi tasted like once frozen fish, steak was under cooked and under seasoned. For a steak house to mishandle wagyu and rib eye steaks was very disappointing. There was more than 1.5 hour pause between appetizers and the main course. The best things were bacon candy, oysters with truffle ketchup, shrimp cocktail.

We boekten ern tafel voor twee, hadden bij binnenkomst keuze uit binnen of buiten. We kozen voor buiten. Heerlijk voor dot weer. We kozen voor de filet mignon en de surf n turf wagyu flank steak. De plates zagen er geweldig uit. Goed warm geserveerd. Heerlijke frites, de beef mooi bereid, lekkere groenten en mooie saus! De wij. Completeerde het geheel voortreffelijk! Kortom: niets op aan te merken. Zeker een bezoek aan te bevelen.

All of the food was exceptional. The bacon candy fire cooked at the table was unique and very tasty. Vegetables were great and the steak was prepared very well with great taste and juicy. Prepare for a relaxed service level - would have preferred slightly quicker

The best meal we had in Canada. Beef is excellent and the service both timely and helpful. The greatest surprise was that prices are more than fair, including those for a pretty good wine list.

Server was wonderful, and they even brought out a cake for our anniversary! Only problem is that the filet mignon was overcooked. We asked for medium rare and it came out at least medium well.

Great place if your vegan or vegetarian. Vegetables, salads, hummus, fish, all great, well prepared, very tasty and fresh. Steaks, no. My filli was cut up at least 4 times like the chef was testing how it was cooked, I order medium rare and it was medium well. The burnais sauce was not sauce ie it wasn’t pourable or fluid but more like a semi soft butter and not great. For a steak place, not here, go the the Frontenac. Overall, again great if you’re a veg but not for those looking for a steak.

The best meal we had in Quebec City. Perfect steak - we chose the boneless ribeye. Excellent service and a beautifully appointed dining room. The only quibble was the oysters Rockerfeller which were very small oysters in a light Parmesan cream sauce, and not the classic recipe with spinach, bread crumbs anise liqueur. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended.
