    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Dining Experience I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Steak & Bourbon in downtown Louisville, and it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone—upscale, romantic, and perfect for a first date. Dim lighting, cozy seating, and just the right amount of buzz made it feel both intimate and lively. Let’s talk about the food. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was next-level—creamy, rich, and loaded with tender chunks of lobster. I followed it with the 12 oz New York Strip, cooked to perfection and topped with an incredible au poivre sauce that added the perfect peppery bite. One of the most memorable touches was the bread service, served with a tallow and butter candle—yes, an actual candle made of rich, meltable deliciousness. Such a fun and flavorful detail. To sip, I had the Mexican 75, a fresh, citrusy cocktail with a little sparkle and spice—definitely a new favorite. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I will absolutely be back. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for a great night out, this spot is a must.

    We decided to try steak and bourbon for my 24th birthday and it was a lovely experience. Our waiter was exceptional and made sure our experience was the best it could be. The filet was the best I have ever had. I would recommend the chocolate cake to anyone with a serious sweet tooth.

    Delicious food and drinks! The scalloped potatoes were amazing! Also loved the filet Oscar style, the carrot cake, and the limoncello spritz! Oh and that bread!!! Wonderful!

    The atmosphere was nice, our server was excellent. They might have the best bread I’ve ever had. Cocktails were great. The bad was the steaks, if your restaurant is called steak and bourbon I would expect a good steak. Wife ordered the filet medallions and I ordered the ribeye. Wife’s steak came out med rare as she ordered, I ordered mine rare and it came out med well, the server immediately took it and acknowledged that wasn’t what I ordered. They got me a new one pretty quick and it was cooked correct. The problem is the steaks were flavorless and had zero seasoning. Like no salt or pepper. And the quality of the meat I could tell was not good, they claim they dry age their steaks for 21 days…there’s no way. Walmart has better quality meat than what we received. They were chewy and just not good. Neither the wife or myself at more than a few bites. All in all the place is cool spot for a date night and the drinks and bread were awesome but the steaks fell short for us. Probably should have known when the server recommended a fish dish….

    I had a filet mignon that was perfectly done and melted in my mouth. My wife had the halibut steak and it was likewise perfectly cooked. The sides were amazing and the server was great. We were well taken care of. Can’t wait to eat there again!!!

    I decided to book a table at this restaurant for a special occasion, and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing, the food was unique and absolutely delicious! Everything from the salad, to the crabcake, the petite fillet dinner, the brussels sprouts, the loaded, sweet potato, all were just indulgent! It was one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in quite some time. It was a bit noisy, but that can easily be fixed with some sound dampening ceiling devices.
