Steak 48 - Houston

We don’t usually go on a Sunday and we did this time. Usually the food is top notch but tonight the jumbo shrimp was a little over cooked and the meat was extra salty albeit still tasty. Maybe it was just a off night. All other times we’ve been were great!

Everything was Perfect!

As usual, everything was AMAZING! The service was great, the cocktails were perfect, and the food could not have been any better! Josh was excellent and we really enjoyed him! They made my best friend’s birthday very special!

Overall would definitely go back because the food and service were excellent. Ibrahim was fantastic and treated us well.

Would give it a HARD consideration to go back on a weekend however, extremely crowded and chaotic. its a very small restaurant overall and it seemed like the back half of the restaurant was not being used for some reason so that may have had something to do with it. Besides that tables are very close to each other and makes for a difficult time hearing each other. Additionally youre basically sitting very close to tables beside you hearing their conversation and vice versa which in my view detracts from experience. For the price pretty that was frustrating. Similar experience to LA or NY to be honest. again would be back but probably during a weekday when its less crazy or very early or very late on weekend.

The best Houston has to offer!

Went to steak 48 on a Friday evening, our reservation was on the earlier side and when we arrived it was fairly empty. Within an hour it was packed! It was very lively has a fun vibe in there. Our service was excellent - very attentive without being annoying. To start we shared the deviled eggs with crispy shrimp and the pork belly, both very good but not outstanding. Then I had the sea bass which was perfectly cooked with great flavor. the other diners in my party all had steak 2 bone in ribeyes and one ny strip - all we’re excellent. Mashed potatoes were delicious as was the broccoli and chocolate cake we shared as sides/dessert. My least favorite thing we ordered were the chefs potatoes -which they are known for. Overall the food was great and the service was better. Would recommend and will go back

Surprise Anniversary dinner for my wife and she was blown away with the whole experience. We both definitely loved the experience and will be back

Our waiter was unfriendly and looked and treated us very rudely!! Like we were keeping him from something! So unfriendly!! Hope no one has to be waited on by Timothy!!!! He needs to smile and get a new attitude!

We had a great time at Steak 48. I just got home and learned that Steak 48 reported us as a now show!! Very disappointing as we celebrated my son’s birthday dinner and we had a great time. Incredible meal and memory made with our son celebrating his senior year of high school for a long weekend in the great city of Houston. The best steak and service we have ever had! We live in Georgia but looking forward to my next trip to Houston so I can eat at Steak 48!

Wonderful experience at Steak 48. While it was a little noisy and the service was a little bit slow, the food and atmosphere definitely made up for it! I’ve already recommended this place to family and friends. Can’t wait to go back.

I came here to celebrate my 45th birthday with my bff and we were treated with A++++ service from the moment we entered the restaurant until we left. Our server Ryan was amazing. This was our 1st time and it won’t be our last. Thanks for making my 45th birthday memorable!!!!

I decided to celebrate my birthday at Steak 48; this was my first time dining here and it was the best decision I could have made! The entire experience was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend Steak 48.

Great food and atmosphere

I loved the service. Both the waiter and waitress were knowledgeable and courteous. When they found out it was my birthday, they offered cake and it was delicious. I loved the corn creme brûlée. It was the first time I had something like this. I would recommend it.

BY FAR the best steak restaurant most romantic restaurant we have been to Steak 48 is absolutely amazing ! Must go a bit pricey but definitely worth it
