   Exceeded expectations! Our waiter, Travis, was as good as any I’ve ever had. He was knowledgeable and attentive but not overbearing.

   The food was awesome along with the service. Since I was there for a special occasion, which I indicates on my reservation, I was wondering why they sat us so close to other diners who were also celebrating. They appeared to have more tables open to spread out their giests.

   First time here and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The ambiance is simply stunning. Jeremy provided excellent service with great recommendations. Not your typical steak house, delicious and unique options!

    I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service, attention to detail, and the quality of the food. I will definitely be back for my next special occasion. I would recommend Steak 48 to anyone celebrating a truly special event. A bit pricey but well worth it. Money well spent.

    Clearly this was not our first visit to Steak 48 but this was the first time we were slightly disappointed in the service. After being sat it did take awhile before our server greeted us and brought over the menus. Take into consideration we are basing this off of previous visits and how quickly our servers came to the table etc. Our server did not make any food recommendations or suggestions based off of the menu. At our last visit our server did and the recommendations were fantastic! Again going off of previous visits we were slightly disappointed by this. Nonetheless the meal was absolutely fantastic as it always is! The food is never disappointing and clearly is what keeps us coming back time and time again! Our desserts were out of this world and the perfect ending to a fabulous meal! We will definitely be back. By far our favorite restaurant in Charlotte.

    I am in town for 2 nights and this restaurant came highly recommended. Unfortunately the level of Service was not up to par. My server in particular seemed to be overwhelmed, my meal came out before My starter. My drink took forever. Maybe it was just a bad night for my server. The atmosphere was fine lots of energy, which I loved.

    My experience was incredible! The service was phenomenal and the food was sooo good. With the portion size, you definitely get your money’s worth. Will be back for sure. Thank you Adam for the attention to detail, the definition of having a passion for what you do!

    This is my second review of Steak 48- the first visit was lacking in a few areas but this visit was fantastic! We arrived 10 minutes early for our 8:15 reservation. We were greeted immediately and waited just a few minutes to be seated. We were seated in a great booth near the kitchen. Our server was very busy but she walked by and said she would be with us in a moment. A few minutes later, she greeted us and took drink orders. Our bar drinks arrived quickly, as well as the delicious bread. Crispy Shrimp and Pork belly apps were great and portion size was just right. We had two ribeyes, salmon, and scallop entrees. All were fantastic and cooked perfectly. Dessert was also great. The service was perfect, with attention to detail. My only complaint is the valet. I’m not sure if they are restaurant employees or a contracted service, but the valet told us there was a $6 fee and to add an additional tip and send by cash app to him directly. Seems sketchy and definitely pushy. Then to make matters worse, when the valet was pulling the car around our interior cameras caught him literally digging in his nose and appearing to “dispose” of what he retrieved on the side of the seat. Of course, we saw this after we left while driving the car! Disgusting! I have the cash app of the valet and the video of the other valet if the restaurant is interested in seeing. Definitely visit Steak 48, just don’t valet!

    Dined at Steak 48 for my husband’s birthday dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant, the four of us were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival. Once we were seated, it took over 10 min for any staff to greet us, no water service was provided. Our waiter arrived and apologized for his delay. Our drinks, the calamari, shrimp, and oysters were amazing. The strange thing I noticed was the large tables to either side of us received these long, detailed highlights of the menus, they were offered choices of different accompaniments for their steaks. It seemed like the entire night the focus of the staff were the larger tables. The food was amazing and we all loved the sweet potatoes and crème brûlée corm. My filet was perfect. Our daughters had twin lobster tails and crab cakes. My husband had the king crab legs.. After waiting over 2 months for a reservation on a Friday night and a $700 + charge I would think the service would be the same for everyone.

    Made reservations in advanced but was not seated until 25 minutes after. Lots of people standing in the doorway waiting on a seat. All had reservations as well. Seems like they overbook themselves. After waiting we were asked if we wanted a high top table and we could move to our table before our food arrived. We decided to just go to the high top table. The food and service once sat was great. Wait staff was very attentive. I would be willing to come back during the week but not the weekend.

    Overall the place was good. Steak somewhat salty however it may the aging process. Key lime cheesecake was average. Bread, BLT salad again average. I didn’t like the fact we were seated at the bar next to the waitress pick up area, however service from bartenders was great. Mac & cheese was awesome. Some of the other sides were also average. We didn’t try the seafood but it looked fabulous. I would try Steak 48 if I was on that side of town again.

    Food was great. Service was even better. The high top tables for 2 do not leave much room for dining if you order more that just a meal for each person. Pricey, but between the food and the service it is worth it.

    We had a great experience here. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and we both enjoyed it. A must try for sure. We sat at the bar which we enjoy anyways. Make reservations. They're very busy but very attentive.

    Such a great experience! Really enjoyed it. The only recommendation is reducing the crowd in the lobby/entryway so that it’s easy to navigate to the restrooms and out after dinner. Overall great experience!

    The food and service certainly warranted the pricing however was disappointed we were unable to pay a corkage fee to open a bottle of wine we brought. We were not informed of this policy until we sat down at the table. Unfortunately, we (like everyone else) have to absorb a 200% markup on a bottle (or glass for that matter) of wine. Though that put a damper on the ticket everything else was superb. Not sure we will return...

    First time experience and we enjoyed it overall! Our waiter,Adam, was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service! The Brussels sprouts were a little burnt (which our waiter asked if we wanted to replace) but my steak was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious! The shrimp deviled eggs,Mac n cheese, and crab cake “Oscar” were also very delicious!
