   Came in for our anniversary and our steaks were undercooked. Asked them to be brought up in temperature and they returned over cooked and charred to the point they tasted burnt. At this point we didn’t want to complain a second time because it was late in the evening. The salads were good, beet salad and wedge salad. For as much money as it cost, I did not find value in the meal

   Steak 48 is a definite must try. The food does not disappoint, from the drinks to the desserts and everything in between. We had the Calamari & Shrimp appetizer, 22 oz Ribeye (delicious) , meatloaf (moist and tasty), Au Gratin potatoes (cheesy), with Crispy Brussel Sprouts and for dessert the Key Lime Pie w/ caviar on top (FANTASTIC)! The portions were plentiful with enough to take home. The ambience is nice, and the wait staff was very thoughtful in helping you deciding on choices. Overall, a wonderful evening.

   Amazing dinner! Great recommendations from our server. Everyone was so friendly and wants it to be a great experience. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was such a wonderful time. All the food was delicious - from the bread, salad, steaks, and dessert!

    I’ve been to steak 48 many times, this was by far worst overall experience. Waitress was subpar at best. Didn’t give us a wine/cocktail list. Didn’t provide additional bread after she asked and we confirmed we’d like more. Checked on us after we had already finished both meals. We had a champagne glass that was taken when there was still a full sip left in it. No specials or desserts were communicated to us. Food is usually very good, this time the potatoes al gratin were undercooked (much tougher texture than usual). Overall disappointing experience especially for the price.

    My husband and I went to Steak 48 for the 1st time ever to celebrate our anniversary. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. From the staff to the delicious food...I loved it all! Charles was the best!!

    I took my wife there to celebrate her birthday! Since we live in Ballantyne, it was great that we had the opportunity to frequent a top-rated steakhouse without going Uptown. The ambience was great, loved the decor, service was good, great wine list and the food (including the variety) was exceptional! My wife enjoyed the birthday dessert and the small birthday gift, as well, I would highly recommend Steak 48!

    I drove an hour and a half from Columbia, SC to try Steak 48. I enjoyed a birthday celebration as my first experience here. It was OUTSTANDING. From the time you walk in the door, the customer service surpasses all expectation. Everyone was warm and friendly. Our server Michaela and her assistant Imani were personable, yet professional. They explained every item on the menu and answered any questions we had. The handwritten birthday card was such a special touch. We enjoyed the chicken fried crab claws and the crispy shrimp for appetizers and I had the bone-in Filet which was cooked medium and to perfection. For sides I chose the Corn Creme Brulee' and the Double Baked Truffle Potato, both which were incredible. My friend had the meatloaf along with brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes. Dessert brought the Chocolate Cake that was pure decadence. I highly recommend this restaurant. I am a huge fan and can't wait to go back...truly worth the drive!

    Love the place, but each time I have to beg management to turn the music down from its annoyingly LOUD volume. Their choice of music (generally rock and pop) doesn’t at all match the ambiance and gives the vibe of a local pub versus fine dining, Find some smooth jazz and at minimum turn the volume down. Lots of people complain about it.

    My brother was visiting me in Charlotte for his Birthday. He wanted to celebrate his Birthday at Steak 48. It was awesome that everyone who served our table greeted him with Birthday wishes and amazing service! It may have seemed customary and small to some, but it truly meant a lot to us given that we just recently buried our younger sister. The acknowledgments really helped lift his spirit. Thank you Steak 48 for helping to celebrate my Brother on His day!!! Also, shout out and a HUGE thank you to our amazing server Megan! She rocks and her suggestions were definitely spot on! We will be back soon.

    Great food, but Steak 48 should really do a better job at enforcing the dress code! I saw everything at Steak 48 last night that the website says NOT to wear. Over the longer period of time, this will kill the experience that Steak 48 should want to maintain.

    Top notch service and vibe in the restaurant. All the food and drinks are amazing and handled with precision and care. You pay for the experience but for special occasions and when an event calls for a top notch meal, we won't hesitate to go back.

    The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly once ordered. The steaks were cooked perfectly and all of the sides were fantastic. We had separate waiters, food servers, and water server. The ambience was good, though I have some hearing loss so the music volume made it a bit difficult to hear the others in my party. Overall it was an excellent dining experience and so far the best food quality of any steakhouse I have had in the area. Highly recommend, though it does take 1-2 months to get a prime dinner slot.

    The only con I have is the music. It was a tad bit too loud for my liking personally my fiancé was sitting right next to me and I felt like I was having to talk louder for him to hear me then I would anywhere else. But I’m a another note The staff including everyone from the time you park to the time you leave everyone is so nice and wonderful. Even if the food was just okay I’d be back just for the staff. But the food was wonderful great recommendations from our waiter. Even the other staff that served the food had great Recommendations. Loved everything about this place would definitely come back again. And I forgot to mention the little things like “ happy anniversary on our desert and the card just made it more memorable!! Great job steak 48!

    The service was extraordinary. Charles our waiter was very professional. He serve each course at the right time. Great service is hard to find, but I admit that evening service was perfect. His assistant Que was great as well. My wife's steak and my tomahawk chops were seasoned to perfection. The sides were good. I would recommend steak 48 to everyone

    We had a wonderful time at Steak 48. We were celebrating a birthday and everyone from the hosts to our server made sure to acknowledge the occasion, even giving us a private booth to enjoy the experience. It was such a special evening! The food and service were phenomenal. I would recommend Steak 48 to anyone looking for a top notch dinner and unmatched hospitality.

    My server was phenomenal. He suggested drinks and appetizers for us. Was very attentive. Not overly attentive but just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. His server assistant Brianna was wonderful as well. I do not regret the money and tip I paid in there. Everything was amazing.

    Steak48 never disappoints. We dined here last year for our anniversary and had such a wonderful time, we decided to do it again. And what can we say - phenomenal. Justin and the crew took care of us and made our anniversary special to celebrate once again. We even had a great recommendation for dessert and WHOA. The Warm Vanilla cake and PB pie were AMAZING that we were glad we saved room during dinner for it (which was hard to do because the dinner was so good you WANTED to eat it all! Yes, we get to dine on leftovers one more night just to savor the experience some more. We highly recommend Steak48 and thank you again for such a dining experience.

    Treated us so nice! Great service and ambiance, especially for a special occasion. Not a value type place, so expect higher prices but top notch experience and excellent menu to choose from. Definitely worth the experience and it’s place will go on our restaurant rotation for sure. Reservations are needed well in advance but there is full dining at the bar, first come, first served.

    Steak 48 met my high expectations for the most part. The ambience, atmosphere and decor is exquisite and felt more lively than other high end steak places I've been to. It took about 15-20 minutes for our reserved table to be ready once we got there, but we were 10 minutes early. I asked for a quiet table and we got it. We were seated in the back next to the kitchen, but they have soundproof glass separating you from the noise of the kitchen. With only 4-5 other tables around us, we were able to have normal conversations without raising our volume level. The appetizers and bread were flavorful and well presented (crispy shrimp and an appetizer version of the 2 crab cake entree). Three of us considered splitting the 40oz Tomahawk ribeye but could not accommodate 3 different temperature preferences. We went with individual steaks from the petite filet to the bone-in ribeye to the 45-day dry aged bone-in ribeye. My medium-well bone-in ribeye was a touch on the medium-rare side but still good, just not perfectly cooked. Deserts were good and I was able to get my favorite sorbet flavors with strawberry and mango. The service was generally good, though a few times we waited several minutes for fresh drinks. Overall, Steak 48 is the fine dining treat I expected and I'll be back for those occasions.

    I was there to celebrate my birthday and felt good about my entire day leading up to this dinner. I received an e-gift card from my mother to help with my meal. I was told the gift card wasn’t going through. The waitress verified the card number and its pin again. We then noticed that it had an activation window. I was told they would call corporate to get it overrode. That didn’t happen after 30 minutes of waiting. It went from corporate is in another time zone and it’s hard to get in touch to we tried three times to override it and it didn’t work. So, did you even speak to corporate?
