Food was amazing. Everyone in our group agreed. We saw our waitress twice. Once about 15 after we were seated and she finally came to take our order. Next time she saw her was about 30 after we finished and were wanting to get on with our day. We actually had to flag her to get her back. As bad as she was, we will be back. Hopefully she was not typical. Didn’t get her name, but she was a tall thin with glasses.

The Salmon Eggs Benedict had the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had!! Will be back!

It was a good experience. The prices are a bit high for what you’re getting. I would also like to note that the parking is terrible around the restaurant.

Nice ambiance, cute place, but .... We came on a Sunday morning and had the French toast, which was good but not great. The menu said it came with fresh fruit -- which turned out to mean 4-5 blueberries and one sliced strawberry, which was disappointing. Service was spotty. We didn't see our waitperson for a very long time after they took our order. Someone else delivered our breakfast and we drained our coffee but no one came to ask if we wanted them refilled. Pretty expensive for the qualiity of the service.

I had a pleasant experience at Stay Cafe. I was seated right away with a welcoming smile, and the staff was very accommodating. Although I arrived early and was willing to sit at the bar, they promptly took me to my table. The only downside was that my waiter seemed a bit unfamiliar with the pricing and wine options, but she warmed up by the end of my visit. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and would consider returning if invited.

What a great place for a birthday brunch! We lived everything we ordered and our waitress was very nice. My son asked if we can come back next time when we are in Chicago. :)
