This is one of the best restaurants in the DMV area. The food was very good, the waitress and host were very polite and professional. It was a great experience for me and my wife for Valentines Day. I would surely be returning to Station 4 again. 5-Stars
Visited Station 4, this was my first time visiting this venue. I was entertaining my daughter who is visiting from Florida. The ambiance was very cozy, food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special bottomless Mimosas, was a Great experience. The service was awesome and very accommodating, Will be back definitely!.
Visited Station 4 for the first time on Valentine’s Day, was so pleasantly surprised with the friendliness and nerves of steal of staff for an extremely hectic night, the cherry on cake was the good food! I had the special NY dry aged steak, it was to die for. I of course had to come back to this place, so I convinced my coworker to stop by here for lunch and sure enough their lunch items were top notch! Highly recommended the crab cake sandwich. I found my new go to spot in DC!

Second time eating here, Station 4 food fails to disappoint. I would rather come eat here than go to the Wharf (which is 5 min walk from Station 4). Station 4 definitely has better food, ambiance and friendlier staff. Oh, and portions way better than what you'll get from restaurants nearby, every bite is simply so good, great quality and reasonable pricing.
Even though we had a reservation, we were kept waiting 10 minutes for a table. The service was slow at the table as well. We ordered the pre-theater dinner and it should have been quick. The fare was simple, not requiring a chef, but also lacking in variety. It tasted good, but wasn't anything special for the price. With so many other great restaurants in DC, we won't return.

The food was fine but a bit pricey. The service was very bad. We did not even sit down before they wanted our drink order. I was still enjoying my soup when the waitress asked to take it. A minute later she came with my entree and had me move my soup so she could put it down. We were sitting at a table for 4 when they had us move our things and separate our table for another party while we were eating. Apparently a large party was coming so they needed our table and did everything to rush us along.

Chicken breast on salad was frozen/processed with no flavor. Server admitted so when asked. Lettuce soggy and no flavor in dressing. Soup tasted like it was from a carton, definitely not homemade. Steak had good flavor and macaroni and cheese was excellent. Very slow service and we ate at 5:15 pm when restaurant less than half full. For the prices would definitely not go back.

Went for valentines dinner. The food was amazing! The service was excellent especially for such a busy night. The noise was high but that’s to be expected for Valentine’s Day. Definitely will be back!
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We booked a table a week in advance and got placed next to the kitchen. We were told there would be 2 dinner menus but there was only one special menu. The noise level was extremely loud and was hard to have a conversation. I’d honestly rather have taken my date to McDonalds.

Went for Valentine’s Day dinner. Online was told I don’t need to do their Vday menu. Went there and had to choose from it. They overcharged a ridiculous amount for a horrible steak. They didnt listen to how we wanted it cooked. They automatically put a 20% gratuity on a two person meal where I was stuck in between two couples with no room to move our from table. A table they took an extra 30 min to seat us at, despite having a reservation. A table that we had to move twice Bc the table cloths were disgusting and dirty. Disappointing. Waste of money. I wish I got my time and my money back.

Disappointed. We had to stand and wait almost an hour while being passed over by other people who came way after we arrived. They had no system for seating people. This is even after having a reservation. Manager came and spoke with us but ultimately couldn't give back the time and the mood offset. Pretty much offered nothing But a “sorry, its busy tonight” and a phone number.
....And then they even had the audacity to automatically charge the 20% gratuity in top of bad service and not having everything for the “special” menu for that particular night.
Of course there are other things to be upset about in life but this is just an honest review from Vday 2020.
Yes, we eaten here plenty of times before, but I would Not ever on Valentines Day again. They seriously overbooked their reservations. We arrived 10 min before our reservation and was told we'd have to wait 45 min to be seated. We ended up sitting at the bar. Not the romantic evening planned. MUSIC WAS WAY TOO LOUD to even carry on a conversation. Then charged an outrageous amount for a simple dinner.

I never write reviews but I think this deserves to be seen by others. When I made my reservation through open table, I was given the option to pick the Valentine’s Day menu out the regular menu. I choose the regular menu since I preferred items on that menu. Day of the reservation my wife and I get there on time and the check in process was a total chaos. I can let that go because it was Valentine’s Day and pretty much any restaurant would be the same. We were shown to our table of two (which were packed like sardines) in about 5-7 min. The ambiance was very noisy, not what you would want for an intimate dinner for two. There were tables next to us that were mere inches away. We could almost hear their conversations and they, ours if it wasn’t for the loud noises.
About 5 min after being seated waiter #1 comes and pours our waters. The table only had the Valentine’s Day menu so I asked waiter #1 if the regular menu was available since that’s what I picked when I made my reservation. He proceeded to say no since it was Valentine’s Day but mentioned we could pick a la carte off the pre fixe menu. The pre fixe menu was $130 for a couple (not including and alcohol) with an ok choice of appetizers, entrees and desserts. I was disappointed and angry because I was now locked out of going anywhere (no restaurants would have any tables on Valentine’s Day!) and would have to pay $130 for food I didn’t particularly like. But after we were told we could pick a la carte, my wife and I debated whether we should just suck it up and order entrees. We decided we would.
Now being so busy the service was quick (not surprisingly since they were only serving the Valentine’s Day menu). But now waiter #2 comes to take our order and says we can’t do a la carte. When we mention were told we could, he says well guess you could but it’s the same price regardless. So why would you pay for just the entree. I was now fuming, felt we were deceived and the restaurant was hustling everyone.

Third and last time here. First two courses rushed. Then service basically stopped. Dessert, salt, and glass of wine never arrived. Similar issues on prior visits. Restaurant was overwhelmed.
Though the restaurant only accepted reservations for Valentine's Day, the restaurant staff seemed very overwhelmed. Servers were arguing amongst themselves and with management. A large party that made a reservation was waiting around for almost 45 minutes for staff to put tables together - and staff briefly tried to seat them on both sides of a different party! The food was satisfactory but this wasn't a place I wanted to linger - I wanted to leave as soon as we finished eating.
There was also false advertising. They listed $129 per couple on their site and even on the menu. When I saw that I was charged more on the check, I was told that the $129 per couple was only for a certain food item. When I asked the server to show me where the caveat was listed he couldn't and ended up giving me a discount. I don't think I'll go back to this place unless it's under new management.
I am writing this review for the Valentine's Day evening alone. There was a special Valentine Day fix price menu for $129.00 per couple. The menu was limited and these menus always include dessert which my husband and I rarely have. The restaurant must have only opened at 6:00 which is when we had our reservation, before an 8:00 pm production at Arena Stage. Our waitress was pleasant and tried to be efficient but the number of diners arriving at the same time seemed to overwhelm everybody. Our appetizers had just arrived and just as we started eating, our entrees arrived. We sent them back to the kitchen. While we usually like Station 4, they need to have a better plan for special days

Made reservation for 2/14/20. NOTHING on the website or on Open Table indicated that they were ONLY serving their fixed price Valentine's Day menu. Three app choices, three entree choices and three or four dessert choices. Nothing appealed to us, so we left after having some mediocre cocktails.
We are very sorry you felt disappointed on such a loving day. We are even more bumped that the special menu offerings did not meet your expectations. Our menus are known to be creative and succulent, it's too bad the choices did not appeal to you. We would love for you to try our cuisine, we are certain you will forgive us at first bite.
Delicious food served promptly and with requested substitutions. Perfect for a quick light lunch before a matinee play at Arena Stage.

Very loud restaurant but nice buzz. Decent calamari. Decent fish and chips. Decent pork chop. Drinks were good. Service solid and friendly. Not the cheapest place to eat.

I have only ever been to Station 4 for brunch, so I was glad to finally experience their dinner. The service was great (Ali was our very attentive waiter) and the portions were large. There was also live music that was very enjoyable.

A party of 6 of us went to a per-theatre dinner but had difficultly getting our order in for cocktails, and the meal. One of our mains didn't arrive with the others. And one of our appetizers arrived after the main course had been served (we weren't charged). We were stressed as we were the last of the pre-theatre diners to get out of the restaurant. Of course, service was included for a party of 6 so I wonder if that explains it because that wasn't our experience previously. Food all around was good.
We were rushed by our server. Enter served before one guest finished soup. No refills offered for the coffee. It was clear they wanted us to leave, even though it was 45 minutes before the show.

The food here was underwhelming (burger burnt and dry; Bloody Mary extremely spicy). The service was average - it was hard to get a refill on coffee. The decor is a strange nightclub vibe with very beat-up furniture.

Great service and excellent food and drink. I highly recommend the 2-hour bottomless mimosa/bloody Mary plus a brunch entree special for $38. My two friends and I all ordered the steak and eggs entree to truly take advantage of this special and each plate was perfectly cooked to order. Our wonderful server refilled our (already large) glasses regularly without us even having to ask. I will return to this restaurant and encourage others to do the same.

Great neighborhood spot. I always enjoy the food. We had Kobe burger, mussels and steak salads. Everything was great. Nice wine list and friendly, attentive service.
Calamari was tough, crab cakes were mushy, and the desserts weren't very enticing ( skip the cheesecake). The server was the worst part. I am ok with mistakes but don't argue over it with paying customers. My party of 8 dined on 1/18/2020 at 6:30pm. The restaurant wasn't crowded but our server was very absent
