I was really looking forward to Stateside based on the reviews. However, just like every other restaurant in the US right now - they are understaffed in one area or another. Our waitperson was really sweet. She kept her cool and was in top of things. Communication from the kitchen - not so great. 50 mins for apps and then they ran out of one of them. Ran out of Salman as well. Heather the manager was great and also very professional. I would give it a second try. But skip the jumbo prawn roll - more avocado than anything.
Food and drinks took an excessive amount of time. We fully understand the staffing shortage and allow for that. This was more than staffing shortages. Also the valet would not take our car as they said they were full and not staying at the hotel.
It’s loud and energetic. Cocktails are good and food was great!
They should have never changed the shrimp and grits recipe. It was horrible this time around
This is a really fun place to eat! The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a very loud but fun atmosphere.
We loved our dinner!!
Food was good, but the menu is very limited, it very creative. Service was subpar at best..
Great happy hour and food!
Hannah from MO. was our server and she gave us great service. They didn’t have all the ingredients for the cocktail I wanted, but the bar tender was able to come up with something creative and tasty! I’m visiting from San Diego and it was an enjoyable evening.
Server was great, very nice and accommodating.
Overall, it was a wonderful brunch. I ordered the watermelon mimosa and the smashed avocado toast and the food was an 11/10. However, my friend and I did not realize there was going to be a DJ there, and while it was a fun idea and made for an energetic atmosphere, it made catching up and actually being able to talk to each other very difficult. Such a beautiful space though, and overall a great time. Would have maybe liked just a little heads up, that there was going to be a DJ, or maybe an opportunity for guests to sit in quieter areas if not going for the DJ.
We had a great time.
Stateside Kitchen is located in the fabulous Dream Hotel. It’s bright, yet moody, atmosphere is energetic and fun. We had the crab dip and it was amazing. I got a Fire Flower and a Fresh Start cocktail, which weren’t so good. All in all, the restaurant ambiance, food and atmosphere is so fun and classy. I’m just not a huge fan of their cocktails, but I would definitely go back!
Excellent meal and service! Thank you for a great evening.
They were out of a ton of things. Server was just the messenger but must have bad management. Fine if staying in hotel to grab something but to go there on purpose doesn’t make a ton of sense.
This is my favorite brunch in Nashville ambiance wise. The DJ for weekend brunch was amazing, and the food is always good. However, we made an 11:30 brunch reservation and weren’t seated until 12:30 so if you’re a tourist coming to town and making plans for a busy day, I wouldn’t suggest coming here.
A quick meal before heading to the Buffett show. Warm crab dip was the bomb. My wife and I shared two sushi rolls. Both were very fresh and great tasting. We never waited for a drink. Service was great.
It was a wonderful experience.
Super fun brunch!
Our waitress was ridiculously rude. I was patched for at least 30 minutes and was left talking to myself when requesting water and new plates. Was never asked if we need or wanted anything before the check.
Hi Linda, I would like to personally apologize for the service you experienced when you dined with us. We strive for excellent service across the board and we clearly fell short of that. If willing, I would love to invite you back in for dinner on us so we can showcase the prompt service that we are usually able to give.
We waited 70 minutes for breakfast on a Sunday. Mimosas were great, although we were starving. Breakfast was comped. Server apologetic. One more thing to blame of Covid and I believe that. Our server was running crazy. I would try again.
Such an amazing little spot! It’s super cute and a fun environment. The service, drinks, and food were all absolutely fabulous! If it wasn’t the last afternoon of our trip we would’ve totally taken advantage of the bottomless mimosa deal!
Was a great afternoon, but the music was again too loud. The food was great and the service was attentive.
Great service, good food. Went a little early on a Friday before it got too crazy busy.
Amazing date spot! Incredible atmosphere and design! Great food, and our server made our night!
OK for easy meal after exhausting day of travel, walking distance from Fairlane Hotel. Service polite & engaging but bordering on inattentive. Casual meal only, wouldn’t recommend for anything more
Excellent food and service. Great spot.
Ribeye was very seasoned, mashed potatoes were very good. I would eat here again. We dressed up and was probably overdressed.
Everything was great
There are several reviews stating that service was pretty poor from the moment guests walked in the door. I can concur, no host or Hostess available. We opted for the bar since they were new waiters to be found even though if there were already half a dozen tables seated. Bartender immediately walked past and said I'll be right with you, proceeded to go 10 more minutes cleaning and doing other duties, chatting with guests and ignoring us. Finally walked past us to another couple who just walked up and said to them "now which one of you guys was first". When she came back, she proceeded to bad mouth her purchasing director for buying bottles of alcohol that she didn't know how to make any drinks with, and have pretty bad attitude in general. The bar was less than half-full and are there tables not even 25%. I really don't know how this place stays in business
We had a reservation for 9pm
Our server Alexa was fantastic. Prompt, professional, and just the right amount of attention. The food was well timed and tasted fantastic. The bartender makes nice drinks too!!! We would definitely return.
Everything was AWESOME!!!
It was just too loud! We couldn't even hear ourselves at the table!!
great food and menu options, live entertainment and ambiance
The service was extremely slow. The food tasted ok but was cold!
Food was delicious and restaurant was beautiful! Cocktails are on point!
Wonderful service and wonderful food. Overall great environment and can't wait to go back!
Waitresss was a bit inattentive but overall a decent experience. Waitstaff/bartender had a little sass but maybe that’s par for the course in Nashville?
Our service was really good, and so was the food. The crab dip + bread is amazing!!
