   A must for us when we come to the Vineyard. We love it.. and get quite a few of the chocolate bars to take home

   Used to be a favorite that we frequented often. Food is still good, but the portion sizes have gotten noticeably smaller and the prices are higher.

   Long time diner at State Road for dinner and brunch. New chef and new menu. Dinner was very uninspiring. Tasteless black ink squid buns, and fatty brisket short ribs. portions were like a tasting menu. Went back for Brunch but all the old favorites were taken off the menu. Nothing particularly interesting to choose from. Won't go back until there is a new menu and different culinary approach. As always service was outstanding. Too bad.

   We had a nice dinner the last night before State Road closed for a break. The fire was crackling, everyone seemed to be in high spirits, and dinner was delicious.

   Food was really good and well prepared. Service was also very good. It was a bit loud , that was the only slight negative aspect of the meal. Nice fireplace atmosphere.

   Underwhelming. Was there two weeks in a row. Both entrees - fish and chicken - were over cooked and under seasoned. Portion sizes tiny. Price expensive. Service was rushed-waitress actually said "are you here to talk or eat. "

   Not much of interest on the menu to me. Had the burger, but it was pretty ordinary. The standout was the fresh, warm bread.

    Delicious dinner prepared by the restaurant's new chef. The vegetation entree was outstanding as were the salads and side of Brussels sprouts. The restaurant was cozy and lovely, staff attentive and food excellent!
