We were lucky enough to get the Music room all to ourselves for book club. Perfect, quiet, good service and good food!
Waitress was very attentive. Nice decor and the food was pretty good
All of dinners that we ordered were excellent. A very good dining experience...!
Excellent service and very good food. All coronavirus precautions were followed. We enjoyed our dinner very much! Could use more gluten free options than a gluten free hamburger bun.
We love coming to State Fare!
Food was very good; however, this visit had some issues. Gumbo was salty and no okra was added; however, the manager did make it right.
Karen was very nice! Staff here is very professional!
My mom and I went to here for brunch the day before Mother’s Day. I made reservations on OpenTable and I’m glad we did because we would not have found a seat. Obviously they are low on servers which we have all seen in the news. Them being low on servers made service extremely slow. My pancake I ordered was huge I could barely eat half of it and took a lot of it home. The only thing that I really have a complain about is the bacon was kind of undercooked and my drink took forever to come.
Service and server were just terrible, ruined what could’ve been a pleasant evening.
Food is excellent wait staff is very tentative. Highly recommend this place.
I was here with my girlfriends to celebrate and catch up with each other. Great restaurant! Loved the decor, food and drinks. Try the frozen drinks as a flight!
Family lunch. Great customer service
First time eating at this establishment. Pleasantly surprised that the food was great service great. Everything was super flavorful crispy where it should be. Did not quite enjoy the seasonal flight as I am more of a brighter taste palette when it comes to the beer.
Server was highly unprofessional
Food was amazing, service was great! Chef came to the table and talked to us. He joked with my kids and was just really nice. We even talked about culinary school. Great place, we will be back!
Great place to meet friends. Love the Gumbo!
Service was quick and pleasant. Loved the southwest Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Will return soon.
We went for Happy Hour and it was great! The happy hour menu has lots of good options for both food and cocktails! We will definitely be back soon!
An amazing experience every time we go. It is just simply a great place to eat and socialize with family and friends.
The service was slow. The messed up my cousin meal (she asked for no meat in a particular dish they assured her that would be ok, when she received it was meat inside... she is allergic) other food was decent.
The pancakes are massive and two of them can easily be shared for four people. The food was good and the atmosphere was pretty cool.
Glad to have visited this restaurant finally and we had a great evening enjoying drinks and dinner. The girl who served us was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Will certainly visit again and again.
For the $150 that it cost my wife and I for dinner for two (one appetizer, one cocktail each and no desert), I'd have expected much better food and a friendly waiter. The food was just OK. I had the shrimp, crawfish tails and grits and the fried crawfish was greasy, the roux based sauce was oily and bland. The shrimp was decent. The appetizer hushpuppies with crab meat were OK, but a bit bland. Neither my wife or I finished our dinner. The waiter wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly at all - all business, no greetings or pleasantries - just "What can I get for you?" and a grunted, "Uh huh" when he was thanked for bringing something. I will probably choose some other place in the future.
The food was delicious and the mimosas. I got the pancakes with bacon, pecans and praline syrup as well as a side of hot chicken. It was amazing.! I will definitely come back!
It was ok. Not really sure what the frito pie chili was all about. Looked like a bag of chips with chili dotted on it. Hard to eat. The jalapeno hushpuppies were really good. Not impressed with food overall.
Always great food and service at State Fare. We chose outdoor dining and it was perfect. State Fare always has several wait staff to check with you to see if anything is needed. The wait staff always seems happy and that’s a real plus!
Highly recommend the appetizer Tuna tartare!
My food was cold had no flavor and I just didn’t like it.
Great as always! My favorite spot in the Town Center.
The food just wasn’t that great. The apps-fried green tomatoes and queso were good but my avo toast with corn was mainly corn and -i did not forsee that. And one guest ordered the crab benedict and ate one bite. The crab was all filling-total mush. The pecan pancakes w/carmel and chicken was good but nothing to write home about.
Good Food, nice atmosphere, please make reservations if you plan to go on the weekend.
Great atmosphere, great service from Mario! Thank you
Enjoyed my birthday celebration very much, the food was wonderful and our waiter was great!
We arrived on time and were seated right away. Our waitress, Sonia, was pleasant. The food and drinks were good. My husband loved the Huevos Racheros and I would definitely have the Ocean Water drink again.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! Fallon was superb!!
Food and drinks were great. Our service was good. Our waiter went long periods of time before stopping by, but he had a lot of tables and I was with my two other girlfriends so I think he was trying to be polite. It is a bit pricey for some of the food sizes, however they were very accommodating to weird food restrictions that I had. I would recommend if you are just looking for a casual, non rushed meal.
Excellent guacamole and tortilla strips. Nice selection of beers, on tap.
First time here, expected a lot so I was disappointed. The food looked good but was somewhat tasteless, hot fries but NO salt. Fried catfish but NO salt. We asked for the hush puppies to have crab added to it and you could smell more of the crab then actually being able to taste. All in all I was disappointed because the food did not hit the spot
Great food and service. Make sure to make reservations.
