Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: Comer en un restaurante premiado con una estrella Michelin puede parecer cosa seria, pero en el State Bird Provisions no lo sentirás así. Lo más difícil de comer aquí (y también lo mejor) es ceñirte a lo que pides, porque pasa un carrito de dim sum con platos como crepes de chucrut con queso y otras creaciones de la cocina neoamericana con detalles asiáticos. This was my third or fourth time dining at State Bird Provisions, and I was really looking forward to it—especially since I hadn’t been back since last November. Luckily, we were able to snag a last-minute reservation, which added to the excitement. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t quite live up to the previous ones. Service-wise, it was a letdown.

Service could have been better. I needed to get the attention of my server several times. Food was delicious though.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! The trout dip and tuna was out of this world good and the service was great! Perfect introduction of San Francisco!

I took my family for a graduate. five of us. It was incredible. Not sure how people could give a one star seems a bit harsh. I am seasoned restaurant goer. the dishes were amazing, the "dim sum style" was fantastic, servers coming by with carts of single serving plates, like Spanish tapas plates, kept the energy flowing bc there was constantly something to choose. my wife and love a tapas style, so we have no problem splitting a small plate with whoever we dine with. We tried at least 20 different dishes. our server was wonderful especially for have to serve a family that was not going to have a much alcohol on the tab.we went on a Thursday and if was full and poppin. I will definitely be back with friends as I want them to experience State Bird.

Wow, what to say about State Bird! The food, the ambiance, the kindness of both the kitchen and service staff! I could rave all day. The dim sum style bites were simply fantastic. All the food had a creative spin that was mouthwateringly delicious! Walked in unsure of what we were about to eat and left wondering how soon we could come back! Only downside (to me) is that they’re solely beer and wine, and a cocktail would have been icing on the cake to the most amazing meal. But don’t let that be a dealbreaker! You won’t regret eating here

Incredible food. The service concept is a little stressful but we adapted. Highly recommend.

Very innovative food that is very unique. Lively, hip environment. Overall concept with the various dum sum like platters coming around makes it interactive and delightful to see what’s being presented next
