Never ate my salmon. Very dry and fishy tasting. No one even questioned picking up my full plate of food, or asked if I wanted a to go box. Nothing. No beverages included that I'm aware of. We were given water and asked if we wanted a drink from the bar. No sleigh, no horses. Flatbed with sides and benches pulled by a caterpillar. Cost with tip was two hundred and forty dollars for two people without even a glass of wine. Go to a nice restaurant with ambience, food and wine for less.

This is a must do while in Breck! Fun sleigh ride in the snow was a perfect thing to do with the kids. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. The ambiance can't be beat.

Nice sleigh ride to the 10 Mile Station and fun to see the afternoon ski lodge transformed into a restaurant. The food was fair to good, our waiter was competent but lacked personality. The experience is overpriced but novel.

When we were in Breck last week, the weather was great and the moon was new. So, I was looking for a way to get up on the mountain at night to see the stars. Our group agreed that this seemed like a fun experience for adults and kids alike so signed up to go our last night. We went right at sunset and got some great pics at dusk and then had a little time to sit out and look at the stars after dinner. They were spectacular but wish I had more time to enjoy them before having to jump back on the sled. The food was not bad but nothing to rave about. Adults had scallops, salmon and elk. Starters and desserts were ok too. I was really disappointed in the kids food, though. Our kiddos ordered the mac and cheese - which I had high expectations for since we had some good mac and cheese at Vista Haus that week. But what we got was Kraft, out of a box. For $30 a kid, that was shameful. Kids starter was fruit and dessert "sunday" was vanilla ice cream with like 6 mini chocolate chips - sad. All in all, I really would recommend just for the experience and the stars alone. Definitely take kids older than 7 but order them something other than mac cheese - the kids burger looked ok.

The ambiance is great, however, our server appeared to be 'just going through the motions", the food was average, especially for the price.
The best part of the evening was the sleigh ride and the friendly sleigh attendant.

Starlight Dinners at Ten Mile Station is more about the experience than the food. On a clear night, the stars on the ride up and down the mountain are spectacular from the sleigh. Granted, it is being towed behind a snowcat, but how else can you get up to Ten Mile Station. The food and service is very good, but probably not worth the cost without the ambiance of dining on the mountain. Live music during dinner and afterward is very pleasant. Great for a special event while at Breck.

We were very excited to try this restaurant with a sleigh ride in the beginning. It was beyond overpriced. Imagine frozen processed food, cold rolls, and dessert that sat out way too long on a buffet table. Then imagine handing over hundred's of dollars. We paid $500 for 4 people. We were going to complain but there was a line. It is a fixed price of $89 including the sleigh ride and hot chocolate. This restaurant is highway robbery and it should be shut down.

To be honest, it's a bit disappointing. Yes you get the sleigh ride, but it's unbelievably freezing for everyone involved. Food and ambience is average. Way over priced. At night you can see the view anyways as there is no light pollution so why pay for the view you can't see? I'll pass.

My family and I were vacationing in Breckenridge Ski Resort. We saw an advertisement for the Starlight Dinners and decided to try it. The experience was well worth bearing the cold 10 min ride up the mountain. The food was excellent, the service amazing and the beautiful starlit night, spectacular!!

I thought it would be fun to do the Starlight Dinners - sleigh ride up the mountain and dinner. By the end of the evening I was sorry we had gone. At $90 a head, the food was a huge disappointment. Both my husband and I ordered the elk tenderloin and what we were served were three small overcooked pieces of shoe leather. My 12 year old son had the mac and cheese that came out looking like it had been leftover from lunch. At least the stars were pretty to look at on the way up.

I was looking so forward to this evening. It was a complete waste of time and A LOT of money. We started with drinks which were terrible. I had a martini and couldn't finish it because it was just straight vodka basically. They then brought us some bread that was cold followed by a long break. Two shrimp and a spoon full of slaw were next ... Followed by another lengthy break, was a small but decent salad or soup. After another really long break...our dinner finally arrived. I ordered scallops. They were only cooked on one side and still pink and jellyfish like in the middle. My sons order Elk and said it just ok... Husband got the pork chop and said it definitely not the best he had ever had. Not what you would expect from a $90 meal. We had to ask a couple of time to refills. They weren't crowded so I'm not sure of why there was such a lull in between courses. The food was absolutely the worst we have had in Breckenridge. I had a grilled cheese for lunch from the grill at our resort that was hands down better than any we had tonight. The sleigh ride was fun for a few minutes, but the thing that pulled us was spraying snow all over us. So you couldn't really even look around for try to hide from the flying snow and stay warm.
Definitely wish I had this to do over. Do not waste your money or time with this.

Started off badly with sleigh being late and bar about to close so we had to wait in the hallway for 30 minutes. Sleigh ride was fun and the dinner venue is lovely. We booked on Christmas Day and were hoping for something festive but there was little note taken that it was even Christmas. Bread rolls were stale, appetiser had been plated and refrigerated with sauce for hours. Main was ok. They hadn't received their desserts so we were offered cakes instead. All the meals were like they had been mass prepared with minimal attention and care. Such a disappointment.

We have been to several starlight dinners over the Years and this time the food was a major disappointment. Four courses of which you usually get to choose at each course. Chefs choice appetizer was one shrimp and a couple of forkfuls of salad, tasted fine but tiny, second course soup or salad, salad was lovely and my husband had the soup which he enjoyed. Main course I choose the salmon and risotto, salmon was overlooked and very thin and small, risotto was hard and undercooked, desserts, even though the menu listed choices of which I was really looking forward to creme brûlée but on the night the chef decided to have a desert table which was various slices of heavy cheesecake or carrot cake, not much effort on the side of the chef. Overall meal was very disappointing given the price of 90$ per adult. The sleigh ride as always was fun and the ambience was relaxing and very enjoyable. Didn't see our server much and the "manager/head waitress" went around asking was everything ok but this was more lip service than genuinely interested, was welcoming and didn't linger.

We had nine family members in our group. Overall our group were satisfied with the food. Two of us had salmon and we had better salmon in other restaurants in Breckenridge. Some of us had drinks and wine and they were very good. The menu selection, which was in the package deal was good. Overall, the price of $89.95 was quite high plus drinks and wine were very high. I paid the entire bill which was over $1,,000, including a 20 % gratuity that was placed on the bill.

My wife and I had a great time up on the mountain and the sleigh ride was a fantastic touch. It was extremely cold but the staff was well prepared with hot chocolate and warm, wool blankets. Dinner was fantastic and the life music was just right and a great touch. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. While there were a few kids at our seating, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for little ones. I think it's a better fit for couples looking for a unique, romantic experience.

We went on the 5:30pm reservation (1st trip) & they were not ready. For the $85/head price tag, I expected a better experience. The sleigh was hooked to a snow cat & if you do not want to be sprayed with snow, ride in the very front of the sleigh.

It is kid friendly. The views are great.

The main dishes were tastey. The deserts were disappointing. The starters were ok.

I think we paid for the sleigh ride and ambiance because the food was terrible. Every course was bad. The hostess stated that during the day it's a spot for lunch and they turn it into a fine dining setting at night, which makes sense. We had better service from our hostess than our waitress.

Decided to do the Starlight Dinner at TenMile Station for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed! The dining area is romantic and beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service was outstanding. From being treated to delicious got chocolate for the sleigh ride, to to cozy blankets, to wonderfully attentive waitstaff, the experience truly felt like we were VIPs. Definitely on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it for a special occasion!

We'd been to Zacks Cabin in Beavercreek and where expecting a similar kind of experience, but this was well below par. The service was incredibly slow, the food was cold and overcooked when it did arrive and the music (while decent) was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other. The meals where mediocre at best, so for about $85 per person it felt like a rip off. There is much better for less money in town. For us it was a huge disappointment.

The dinner was delicious and the staff very nice but the sleigh ride was pretty average. I can deal with the cold but its not terribly romantic to have the snow cat's exhaust turn to snow and hit you when sitting in the back of the sleigh. On the way back down we sat as far forward as possible which was much nicer. Might be good to better enclose the sleigh or advise people to sit forward when its not filled. But like I said, the dinner was great and so the issues with the ride up were forgotten.

Great experience! Carriage ride up the mountain was great. We had a clear night and nearly a full moon so the view during the ride was fantastic. The food was very good. Kids' meals could be better for the price. The wines by the glass could be better--and they were out of the only Chardonnay they had by the glass. Loved the live music. Sleigh ride was cold, but fun, and they give you hot cocoa beforehand. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, though our waiter was clearly inexperienced. Pricey, but worth it for a one-time or special experience.

We had reservations on New Year's Eve, 2014. The sleigh ride is fun but it is hard to view anything because the snow is flying up behind the groomer machine that pulls the sleigh. If you are not sitting directly behind the driver (front of the sleigh), snow is constantly hitting you in the face. You are given warm blankets to use, and that helps!
Upon arrival, we were given complimentary champagne and were seated immediately. There was live music, which was very good, but a little too loud--hard to visit with our group. It was also a little too cold inside the restaurant. I had to keep my coat wrapped around me and some people were asking for the blankets back. We had a six-year old with us, and she ordered Mac and cheese. She ate none of it because it came out covered with parsley flakes with a side of zucchini vegetables (which did not say on the menu). Paid $20 for that :-(.
However, it was a wonderful experience overall. We timed it just right to see the 9 o'clock fireworks over Breck. The adults' meals were very good! We had the beef tenderloin and the elk medallions. We also received appetizers and soup/salad prior to our meal. Desserts varied and were buffet style. I would definitely recommend the experience. Just know you pay a lot for it ($85 per adult). The service was awesome! Everyone was friendly, including the sleigh ride workers. They all tried to please my child as best they could. But I'm not sure I would include children next time. It's good to know a few more details ahead of time before you decide to experience this.

The sleigh ride was nothing special being pulled by a snowcat. Once on the mountain, the restaurant atmosphere was very cozy and nice. The food left much to be desired. I would have expected at those prices that the food would have been of higher quality. Lobster appetizer was stone cold and the steaks we ordered medium rare twice, were medium well both times. I would expect at those prices, $650.00 for 5 people, the meal would have been up to higher standards.
I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. Very disappointing!!!!

After braving the snowcat sleigh ride, we expected a very cozy fine dining experience, needless to say we were extremely disappointed. Our waiter was less than up to the task. The salad came freezing with no salad dressing and it took a few reminders for him to finally bring it for all 3 salads. The steak was dry and over cooked, the Elk was edible. The creme brulee was also frreezing cold, but the apple crisp was good.

The only satisfying part of the meal was the music. The guitar player was good.

We have had several meals while here in town that were substantially more satisfying and extremely less expensive.

Overall I would say this venue is not worth the price and would never recommend it to anyone going to Breckenridge. Save the $85 and buy 4 tee shirts instead.
