Not worth the money. You sip 2 different coffees and the “tour” is a walk around the store being told about the decorations (and where to buy things in the store). Very little information about Starbucks or coffee.

This was our favorite place in Seattle. The staff are excellent, the coffee even better. The tasting experience was phenomenal. This is a must-do!

I booked the tour and tasting and overall it was not worth the $75 ($65 + tax) I was charged. The whole event lasted about 40 minutes and we tasted two coffees and we were sent home with coffee valued at $16 making the tour about $60. The area were tasted was noisy and we were told it was because there was a private event in the space they normally hold this tour. It would have been nice to see some of that area, especially for the price. The staff was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable, I just think the tour should have been about 1/2 of what they charge.

Overall my wife loves coffee, so naturally going to this was a big suprise for her and would recommend people checking out the location However, the tour is a bit underwhelming as most of my question were not answered and most of things on the tour were things you could see just by going there. There was nothing behind the scenes and the roasters were not even roasting. The coffee beans provided at the ens of the tour were a nice touch, but a free drink or coupon for a bakery item would have been better. The Starbucks Reserve at HQ had a better ambiance and parking was easier.

I had the best time with the Roasting & Tasting experience. Brandon, Dan, and Mikey were insanely knowledgeable and their excitement was contagious. I loved seeing the process of the roast and couldn’t believe how quickly the beans changed and just how drastically. Nick did a wonderful job with the tasting too and was so thoughtful and intentional with his portion of these experience. I’m eager to put into practice some of the tips and tricks he’s mentioned. My only gripe with the afternoon was that I did not know where to go upon arriving and some signs would really help with that, since this is an overwhelming place to step into while unsure of where to be. These guys more than eased that feeling of overwhelm and made sure I was where I needed to be. Everyone went above and beyond and I felt like I was with friends the whole time. I cannot recommend this enough.

The location is beautiful and fascinating. It is like a Willy Wonky factory but with coffee. The option for coffee and pastries to full sandwiches for lunch or drinks at the bar make it appealing to many people and times of day. The tasting/roasting experience was very engaging and educational.
