Great evening. Excellent server. Food was wonderful. We will be back.
My husband and I went here for a dinner date and it was absolutely delightful. We both ordered the 16 Oz ribeye. I had the loaded baked potato and asparagus, my husband had Brussel sprouts and their Mac & Cheese. The food was cooked to our specifications and tasted superb. I also had a lavender Cosmo and my husband had an old fashioned. It was a nice date with service being on par with the ambiance. 10/10 would go back.
The staff could not have been nicer and more accomodating!
Lighting was a bit bright for my taste/ambiance.
I was disappointed with my experience here. The menu is unimaginative to start, with few decent wine options. The poke was bland and the arugula salad that came with the crab cake was way over salted and inedible. This beautiful space that used to be Pacific Grill is just wasted on this super ordinary restaurant. So sad. I will say, however, that our server was excellent and everyone we interacted with was great.
Great service, all our meals were excellent. Decor could be improved, but definitely recommend and we'll be back for sure
Food was pretty blah for the price. The rib tasted pre frozen, bland and had so much gristle. Baked potato was still cold in the middle. Everything else was just average taste and quality. Service was good and friendly. Probably will not be back.
The restaurant is very nice. The reason for less than 5 rating is that it took over 45 minutes before our food was served. When pouring the wine, the waiter spilled some of it. It wasn't until about 35 minutes into waiting, that the waiter came and told us there was a mix-up with our order. Once our food finally came, though the food was good, one of the entree's was lukewarm. They were gracious enough however to comp our order and replenished the spilled wine, which was good because had they not, we would have sent the warm food right back. We will say that the employees were kind. However, a few unfortunate turns of events that made our date night a bit sour.
Pretty average all around, decent selection of average steaks. Nothing to be excited about.
While our server was fantastic, the wait times in between courses were a bit too lengthy. Three people from our table ordered the 16 oz prime rib; however they ran out of the 16oz cuts just after we ordered. Unless your going to specify a timeframe that prime rib is on the menu, then I believe it should be available past 5:00 pm
Generour portions of a delicious meal. Plan to go back again.
Food was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious, drinks were great. The hosts were very friendly and our server was very knowledgeable and quick.
The Brussels sprouts are wonderful! Cobb salad was ok, very bland. Loved the setting and service was excellent!!!!
Our server, Jessica, is amazing. Informative with just the right amount of involvement. Food was outstanding. A+++
Great steaks cooked to perfection. Short wine list, but some reasonable options. Kitchen got both entree orders wrong, but the waitress corrected it immediately. It was a minor issue.
I love the ambiance but this restaurant has a long way to go- the bread came cold and it wasn’t great. We flagged it to them (I srsly hate complaining, it feels bad) and we got another one that was somewhat luke warm. They had a lot of outages of food, which is weird. Like not just one or two things but like SEVERAL things they were out of. Please work on the food ASAP and make it better
New Years Eve dining with another couple. First they tried to seat us in a cold back area. We requested to be moved to the main dining area. We were seated at about 7:30 the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The ambiance was horrible!! Placed our order for dinner at about 7:55. I finally ask where our food might be at 8:45. We finally got served our dinner at 9:00. The steaks were over cooked, cold and were not prepared as ordered! The baked potatoes were cold and not completely cooked. Our food bill was about $275.
I will never go here again and will make it a point to tell all my friends to avoid this place as well!!
Food was delicious but came out cold (like it had been sitting for a while). Not what we would have expected for a $109 steak. Music was loud and didn't seem to fit the crowd. It was also extremely cold and we had to leave our jackets on while eating. The bus boys were on it and quick to clear our plates but our waitress didn't come by as often as we would have hoped. We would give the place another try but first impressions didn't meet our expectations.
Restaurant was FREEZING. Everyone had to wear their coats, not what you want when fine dining. Manager said they were having issues with the heating and they were aware of the problem. Dinner took 1.5 hours to get to table even though not many tables were full. Manager offered to comp us desserts. We ordered 2 desserts, then she only comp'd one. She took the other off the bill after we said something, but it was disappointing. Upside-food really good, drinks good and waitstaff were professional.
The heat was out but we weren’t told about it until after we ordered. They were out of several items, including the prime rib, which they are known for. Our server had friends sitting next to us and spent most of her time talking to them.
Our only issue was wait time for food (1 hr) and then when the food came one of the people in our party was served a steak which was lukewarm. They came over and offered to bring a whole new steak or reheat if
Yummy food and great server, Kasie. We’ll definitely be back.
Our server was very proper and professional. Checked in often and very friendly! Food was amazing and can't wait to come again one day!
Server didn't bring us water. I had to ask for it when our food came. He also pushed us to take our order early when we wanted to have drinks first. Very nice guy just felt like he was new. Prices we pay should reflect the service as well as the food. Food was AMAZING.
Delicious food and classy ambiance. Would absolutely return again.
I know it's covid , but 1 hour to get food. 1/2 hour to get dessert. Fortunately not in a hurry. With tip over$ 300. Food was good. Out of prime rib at 5:30 in a Sunday. No onion rings for 3 weeks. Cut up an onion and deep fry it. Not going back
Where to start. The server was incredibly rude and dismissive. Forgot one of our drink orders and just made us feel like a bother.
I flagged the mgr down and requested to be sat in a different section. It was my birthday and a bad taste was left in my mouth. She was super cool and reassigned a server to out table. He was awesome. After he took our order, the mgr came back and told us that they sold out if prime rib (my moms meal) so she requested the rib eye. When the food came out, it was prime rib. Yay...? My sons chicken wings were raw. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection...yay. they forgot our dessert order and handed us a rushed dessert togo bag as we walked out. It was super bright in there. Like lunch time bright. I'll come back when they have their bearings because this ain't it.
Except for a couple of little hiccups it was great. Enjoyed the meal and the time spent with my friends. We did not feel rushed.
Food was amazing.. we waited a long time for our order but they made up for it and offer us free drinks or desserts.. the food was really tasty and we like the ambiance of the place.. we are coming back for sure..
Nice people. Service well done. Good drinks. Crab cakes very good. Unfortunately our main courses were areas of concern. 9 oz filet ordered rare plus (between rare and medium rare) came out somewhere between medium and medium well - dry and ruined if you enjoy steak. We were served another after 13 minutes — better but still somewhere around medium rare to medium. Next - 16 oz rib-eye ordered rare. Simply a disappointment. The steak was maybe ½ inch to ⅝ inch thick. Something you’d expect at a Denny’s. Served at medium rare - at best.
Fabulous dinner and the service was, as well. Very attentive but not overdone. I am a real hard-core foodie ... my family is full of restaurateurs and chefs and I have very high level of expectations. Couldn't have been better!! Will definitely return!
I loved the new decor and the menu. This is the fancier side of Stanford chain that is usually located at or near a shopping mall. The wait staff was great, very attentive.
what a great dining experience we had !
a truly noteworthy date night
Great ambiance, food was pretty yummy, bar was out of a few things - but that didn't bother us. We stayed an hour longer than we thought we would, our first co-worker get together since before COVID. We truly had an amazing time, and I can't wait to go back with my partner for date night.
Unfortunately our experience was not positive. Our reservation was at 11:45 and I think we finally got our food at 1:25 pm. There was a large party in the back which was part of the problem. But other than the large party, there were very few guests. Our food was cold, they ran out the soup and one of my co-workers got a bowl, the other a cup. No mention that they ran out. We did get 50% off of our bill and free desserts but this was a work lunch and we don't have hours to wait for our meal. Maybe they need to work out the kinks still since they just opened recently.
Food was overrated. Customer service was great tho. My friend didn’t really like anything she had besides her desert. W ebony had crab cakes which were okay but had better for the price definitely. Also my house salad with medium well filet was too chewy.
Had a ok time but won’t be back
My prime rib had way too much fat on it. Waiter seemed very young but did a good job. My martinis did not fully fill the martini glass...a small thing but important.
This is a great place for a business lunch in Tacoma.
Our waiter was excellent and super accommodating. The food was frankly not good. The ribeye had a cold feel to it, the salad felt grimey and the mashed potatoes had chunks in them. Everything but the food was great. I hope they can improve because it was a nice atmosphere.
It was flippin' great.
It is a nice place but louder then I thought it would be. The food and service was great. We would definitely go back.
