This was our family’s second time gathering at Stanford Kitchen. The first time was last year for our daughter’s birthday—they were more than accommodating with our party and changes. Yesterday, we celebrated our son’s high school graduation—the staff were caring, praising, and we entered/left with all smiles (both times)!!! The food is delicious, staff lively and professional, and the atmosphere is beautiful, quaint, and quiet. This place is wonderful and we’ll be back for more family events!!

I wanted to like this place so bad, but the menu is limited, so I ordered ribs. The ribs were the worse I've ever had. They were dry and tasted more burnt than average for grilled ribs. The mashed potato serving was massive and they were very dry. Not buttery or seasoned well. My daughter had the salmon, which she liked, but green beans were a little too crunchy and bland. Hubby had the rotisserie chicken and he liked that. Best thing was the bread pudding. Mexican egg rolls were just ok, sauce wasn't good. Tasted like plain mayo.

The food was heavily breaded and lacked flavor. It was overpriced and the selection was quite limited. The cuisine lacked a theme. It just seemed thrown together. I thought it would be different than the last time I visited a few years ago but sadly it was not. The server was the best part of the visit, she was polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Change the menu as I would like to come back. Thanks!

Very much enjoyed our meal. The menu options were excellent especially those added for Mother's Day lunch. Prepared well with nice size portions.Too delicious not to finish. The service was fantastic. Paul was attentive, pleasant and very patient with the elderly folks in our party. Very comfortable seating in a nice atmosphere.

Food was excellent as always- had the halibut with risotto was amazing ! Typically service is great at SK but our server was not friendly - never checked on us and very abrupt we ordered a spinach dip app and when our food came she said your food is here and grabbed the app which we were still eating and whisked it away without even asking - it was my friends bday and her husband asked if they could put a candle on the key lime pie we ordered (which was delish also) she said ok but brought to table no candle - our meal was $200. And even when a meal is 10.00 she definitely needs some lessons in customer service - the people bringing out the food and other waiters and waitresses were very nice - we will be back because we love this place but if they sat us in the waitresses section again I would request a change

My lunch cost me $36, for a dry grilled chicken sandwich with a not so fresh gluten free roll, club soda and a slice of cheese cake. Very disappointed in the cost and quality of food. On OpenTable and at the restaurant you were informed that we were celebrating a birthday. There was no acknowledgment of the Birthday. Why ask then? I ordered a piece of cheesecake and no candle!

Our entrees were delicious: Two of our party ordered from the specials and two from the regular menu. We shared a dessert that was generously-sized and SO tasty! Our server was pleasant, prompt, and attentive, and the extra tip we gave really doesn’t begin to express our respect for how she did her job.

Tori is we an excellent waitress her customer service is top notch this was my wife’s and I first time eating here and we will be back. The Team work was exceptional watching how everyone cover for each other is what drives in business and customers The food was delicious and this reminds us of back home watching the chefs prepare your meal is a nice site to see.

Mixed feelings on first our first (perhaps only) visit. Table service was good overall. Meals were mixed. My wife ordered the gluten free grilled chicken sandwich and was served a grilled chicken prepared as a crispy chicken sandwich... none of the toppings were for the grilled chicken sandwich- all toppings for the crispy. This made for a very different sandwich than what was desired and ordered. My daughters "rattlesnake" pasta dish had good mild flavor, but was without any real bite of that snake. We expected more heat from the dish. My ordered medium tenderloin was served med-well to well done, but the toppings were killer... the meat was simply overdone and therefore a bit dry. I also ordered green beans with my meal and was served spinach. The server took it back to the kitchen and returned with the same plate. I had to question where the green beans were and was told that the kitchen said to keep the plate as it was and they'd send out the bean. Okay, but why did I need to question it? I also had the Caesar salad and it was very good. Overall, the experience was fair and if orders had been all on point the meal would have been very good. I would not recommend until a second visit perhaps to see if this experience was just an off night.

Stanford K is a nice spot a mile from our house. The food is good but nothing real memorable. Took 20 minutes to get a beer in my hand … they have a few tables outside and that’s enjoyable. The dining room is handsome & inviting. Servers and manager are very friendly. The menu is very small . They could really do a better job of adding more , interesting starters … and a few more entrees . Owings Mills is baren for good restaurants that offer both a nice atmosphere & good food. SK is close - if they could ramp it up a little higher we’d go more often. For 50 bucks more we could have a great meal at Linwoods .
