   Really happy to have this restaurant open on Jamestown. It's style is somewhere between Beech and the Ganny. We have been there twice this month. Love the ambience. The hamachi crudo is an amazing surprise. I had a barbecue burger both times and was very satisfied. My husband, daughter and grandson all found something to their liking (grandson ordered and was happy with the pizza.) Drinks were generous and the service was excellent.

   Bustling upscale tavern, friendly service, good take on the standards. Fries were excellent, chicken wings were done very well. The clams with bread crumbs were a complete tease, the clams were plump and juicy, but come on, throw some bacon on them and make it a casino! Pizza was excellent, generous pour on the wine. I think it will become my local. Nice job!

   First time dining at Standards. Enjoyed our dinner. The owner is welcoming. We will return!

   Lovely place with a great vibe. Understaffed, so service was not as great as it could have been, but waiter was so friendly and nice. Had the scallops risotto but was a bit bland and the bread pudding was scorched. I really wanted to love this place, but they have some kinks to work out.

   Appetizer, salad and our meals (fish and beef) were excellent. Delicious wine by the glass. Owner greeted us at our table and our waitress was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely will be back.

   The crudo and oyster soup were great. The wings were overcooked. The bolognese was very good. The halibut was cooked perfectly, however I was not impressed with the seasoning and the purée under the fish.

   We enjoyed a lovely meal on a Tuesday night. Skipped appetizers, but did order a pizza to share, just to check it out. The pizza was very impressive!! One of us had the rib eye steak. It was cooked as requested, and very delicious. The side of fresh green beans was fantastic too. Two of us had the smashed patty melt with fries. The burgers came as requested, one medium rare, the other well done. The fries were exceptionally good. The portions are very large - we all had lunch for the next day to take home! Service was wonderful - pleasant servers attentive to all our needs. This restaurant is newly open, and has been significantly renovated. The tin ceiling is much nicer the the run of the mill ones we see in some many places. The darker interior makes it seem very cozy. A lighted tea light on each table was an nice extra touch, adding to the ambience. The entire facility was extremely clean. All in all, a wonderful experience. Only suggestion would be a larger selection of entrees. But we were told that is already being planned. With the opening of Standards, Jamestown has gained yet another unique and desirable eatery. We look forward to returning soon!

    Excellent evening! Service was incredible, food delicious, and reasonable prices! This place will become a locals favorite!
