The magnificent Stamford Park Homestead was built in 1882 by the entrepreneurial Row family as a Gentleman’s Residence. After many years of neglect, the homestead and six acres of grounds have been aesthetically restored, allowing it to once again become the ‘Jewel in Knox City’.

Stamford Parks current custodians, have waved their ‘whimsical’ magic of both design and true hospitality over the beautiful estate and it is now a stunning property serving the public for what it was originally intended – a place to gather, meet, entertain and unwind.

Overall this was an average experience. The service was good but the food was average. Steaks were cooked as expected but was served cold. I think they rested them too long as we had ordered 3 steaks for the table. The veges were overcooked. The sauce lacked flavour. Presentation was a bit lack lustre as you can see from the photos on the website. We've wanted to try this place for a while but unfortunately will not go back a second time.

Celebrated an old friend’s birthday with a delightful lunch, all 3 of us were new visitors to this lovely venue set in gorgeous gardens. We were greeted with friendly, helpful staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations about various items. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals including the Salmon, Braised beef short rib, Bouillabaisses, Tiramisu "Roulade" and Apple tartatin. We complemented our meal with a lovely bottle of Totara Sauvignon Blanc (NZ). Great atmosphere, excellent value, highly recommended.
