   Food amazing with great vegan options for me. The dumplings so yummy & my partner loved the linguine. Great menu with great choices, it’s a regular for us.

   Lovely atmosphere. Nice & cosy with plenty of options for indoor or outdoor dining . Food was delicious & well priced . Staff were friendly and helpful! Will go again !!

   Food was great, service friendly. My burger was cooked to order rather than to death which I was super grateful for! Two minor things we could fault is they forgot our entree which in the end was totally fine the portion sizes are ample and we were very full. The second was the burger sauce had curry in it which threw me off. Still tasty, I would ask for mayo, mustard and ketchup next time, not my cuppa, feel like it kinda wasn't a good surprise but that could just be me! Honestly these are minor preferences, my husband is there a bit anyway for drinks. Love that they kept toss the boss! Definitely give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

   A beautiful lunch experience in the beer garden eating delicious foods which were well presented and plentiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the pumpkin,spinach ricotta lasagna. The seafood linguine looked amazing as did the dumplings. It was a nice ambience with excellent service. I highly recommend this venue.

   Fabulous ambience & great service. Food was overall very good. Some twists on your usual pub foods didn’t enhance the food - if not for these unusual twists I would have given 5 stars for the food. Really enjoyed my evening

   Really nice dining room. Food was really delicious. Good size meals but not a ridiculous size. Service was prompt and friendly. Will be back. Bonus easy to park.

   What a great little pub such a nice atmosphere. We brought along a few other couples from the other side of town and they were amazed by the ambience and great food!!!

   Caught up with a mate for lunch during the week. From the moment we entered the pub, staff greeted us, were polite and friendly throughout. The meal was great and reasonably priced. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (some under cover) seating. It was very quiet today however I have been to The Stag with my wife and friends on a Friday night and the high ratings are the same. Would recommend as a great place for a meal and catching up with friends. Will certainly be returning. Enjoy!

    A delight from start to finish. From the ministrations of Rosie, our waitress, who cheerfully moved chairs and quickly set another table for us when two friends unexpectedly joined us, to my mouth-watering T-Bone and “perfect Parmigiana” that my son seemed to Hoover up off his plate and the delicious cocktails, this was a lovely gastro pub experience. The Stags Head has successfully managed to create a cozy dining room all the while retaining its local Hotel feel and popularity.
