The seafood chowder more than met our expectations. The server is always pleasant and attentive.👍. The seafood buffet was delicious.
Food was good, but the environment was out of my expectations
Food was good, not fabulous, but very decent. What we liked was the seating was comfortable and the noise level was quiet. So we were able to talk without having to shout unlike sadly most restaurants today. The lunch buffet was great value. A good selection of food — there was a chicken, pork, fish and vegetarian entree, nice salad bar and desserts. The soup of the day is always good and the lentil and chicken soup of the day when we were there was delicious.
When one of group suggested having lunch there, I had my doubts — eating in the restaurant of a Holiday Inn? Only tourists with nowhere else to go would eat there I thought. But I proven wrong. I hesitated going, but now that I have been, I have no hesitation in going back. Give it a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprise.
Good dine out experience. Great value. Good big bowl of clam chowder
Second time at Stages recently & thoroughly loved my experience!!
Service: server with long black hair, super service!! She was incredibly pro-active & created a perfect dining experience for us, friendly, approachable, professional etc.
Ambiance: always seats beautifully at Stages. Classy & casual at the same time. Quiet enough for good conversations. Clean. Neat/tidy.
Food:all beautifully plated. Surf & turf was Devine, perfectly done steak. Blueberry cheesecake- something I dream about still.
Value: excellent.
Would highly recommend & I'm looking forward to returning!! Thank you Stages Bistro and lounge!!
Service was excellent, young male server with black hair, took care of all tables. He was patient and wonderful!! Beautiful plating of food. Good deal. Took a bit long to get out from kitchen. Really enjoy how neat, clean and comfortable Stages seats.
On Wednesday, December 18th., my husband and I experienced the Sleighbells Christmas Luncheon Buffet. The meal was superior, so much of everything you can only imagine. The service was first class. I would definitely recommend it plus at a very reasonable price. This is the 2nd time we've been and will definitely be back next year.
Great server (Dennis?). Food and wine is okay/so-so, and overpriced for the quality. Nice sized portions though.
The food was overpriced for the quality. The service was pretty long. Not impressed
Hidden treasure. The best lobster ravioli I’ve ever had. My husband had the club sandwich and borscht soup. He said it was excellent. We will definitely come again.
Staff are courteous. Food is very good for the price. Clean restaurant.
Mother’s day
We come here all the time for their monthly special dinner. For a 3 course meal, it is really worthwhile. The salad we had is Ahi Tuna and the Tuna is really soft and tender. The entree is fish and is very tasty - even the side dish potatoes and veges are mouthwatering. The restaurant is cozy and the seats are very comfortable. There isn't usually a lot of people, so very quiet and the service is excellent!
It's good value for lunch in the area - coffee/ tea included. They have "themes" for each day of the week Monday to Friday. Good varieties, amazing friendly staff, quick replenish and top up of food. We were there on a Friday - seafood buffer. Go try!
We came here for Vancouver Dine Out. Food was underwhelming, my ravioli was undercooked, the bread was old and cold and I think they tried to microwave it. The cream of mushroom was good, the entree of stuffed chicken breast was mediocre. Dessert was definetly not fresh. Only giving three stars cause staff were nice.
The atmosphere was cozy. Food was excellent. We had the monthly special, a 3 course meal for only $22.95, definitely worth it!
Their monthly dinner special is the best. With only $23 for a 3 course meal, you won't get it anywhere else. The food is really tasty and service is good. Highly recommended.
Their monthly special is really good. We had sirloin steak and the meat was juicy and tender. The cost is only $22.95 for a 3 course meal. Definitely a value deal!
The food was like airplane food. Not very good at all. Won't go back. The waiter was very good though and attentive.
Excellent food and great waiter
Thank you to the staff and chefs at Stages for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner with my family. Our server was spectacular - so humorous and attentive, a real professional. All our food was prepared nicely and good value for the price. My parents have mobility issues and it was wonderful that they could enter through the front of the restaurant with the ramp access. Thank you for that you don't realize how wonderful that little detail is.
We look forward to more opportunities to dine here. The welcoming staff and attentiveness was well appreciated.
