At Stage Restaurant in the Honolulu Design Center we're excited to offer a world inspired, local comfort enthused menu utilizing locally grown products with a focus on Chef inspired local favorites. Our hope is to give our guests a familiar yet modern culinary experience.

Just outside of Stage is our Amuse Wine Bar where we feature an 'Amuse Bites' menu of some familiar favorites from Stage in a casual atmosphere.

After a period of closure due to Covid-19, we are excited to re-open in both Stage Restaurant and Amuse Wine Bar beginning Friday, June 5, 2020.
We will post our new dinner and amuse bites menus to our website nightly and look forward to serving you!

I didn’t have the best experience here. The interior design of the restaurant was great! I loved all the furniture pieces and the set up and they also had really cool lighting fixtures. The food however, was not worth the price. The portions were tiny and I would say it just tasted good. There was nothing too special about the flavors and the presentation was mediocre. In addition, we were there for almost 2 hours for a party of 2 and the restaurant was relatively empty. The food took about 45 minutes to come and the service in general was slow. However, since it was empty, we were seated in our own private section and the staff were pretty friendly. I probably would not come back here.

The service was greet. The space was well appointed with interesting furniture and art. The remodeled kitchen space made the sitting area smaller. The three dessert choices were eaten as our main course. The garlic loaf was outstanding.

Had 6:30 reservations for dinner, and when we checked in, for some reason they thought we wanted to eat at the Amuse Bar. When we stated that we wanted to be in the main dining room, they accommodated us after a brief delay. Both the bar area and dining room had many open tables. Food and service were very good, as is their wine list.

I ordered sweetened ice tea and they brought additional sweetener in a separate glass (that little consideration reflects the outstanding service provided)!!! The potion of my fish entree was generous! My favorite dessert lilikoi creamsicle is so delicious I order it every time I’ve been there!

the ambiance and decor was very nice. the service was okay, the food was great, the food took too long and when you ask for something it takes too long to come. i go to a lot of fine dining restaurants and i know the serving time is normally longer. the appetizers came out on a decent time but the entrees and the desserts took too long, our dinner was over 3 hours. if the quality and the taste of the food wasn't really good, i definitely wouldn't go back. but due to the time element, it would be a long time if i ever go back.

Food in wine bar was very good. We did happy hour.They seemed short staffed although they were tending to a private party. Things seemed disorganized. Bartender was taking food orders and doing the best he could. Disappointed overall to be honest as we wanted to book Stage for dinner but just didn’t get a strong enough impression to try it.

First timers and I don’t know why we took so long to visit this gem in town! The hostess Kim giving us the call ahead and switching our seats to the best view in the restaurant. The most friendly host as we were leaving asking us how our dinner went. Brett our server, on point with phenomenal service, recommendations, and menu knowledge was mind-blowing. Kay with the wine suggestions were on point. And a mocktail that had my mouth watering for another. I do admit, I was hesitant with the menu being small. I see why with the amount of quality, thought, and love prepared with each and every dish. Roasted kabocha and salmon tataki, five stars. I felt guilt eating my food so quickly wanting to savor every bite. Roasted duck and beef wellington for the ultimate win. For some reason I didn’t think the flavor profile of the apps could be beat, wrong again I was. The wifey chose the lavender cake which I had a feeling was gonna be a win. I chose the one I thought I would like the least, the macnut bar. Damn was a wrong again! I think that was better than the lavender cake! They topped it off by sending a 10 year anny dessert with the most beautiful artwork. The use of Inspiration’s exotic furniture and table setup really add to the ambiance and mood. I am thoroughly impressed all the way around. I can’t think of another restaurant that comes close. Being born and raised here and eating at majority of the restaurants Oahu has to offer, I hope this speaks volume for anybody reading this and on the fence about whether or not to dine here. We will be back one thousand percent! Free parking, win. Bringing as many friends and family that I can tell. I never had a favorite restaurant in the 36 years of my life, but I do now. Thank you for making me and my wife’s 10th year anniversary one to never forget. My hat is off to the service of the staff and aloha prepared by the chefs. Thank you for existing!

Came here to celebrate my 25th birthday and it was AMAZING. The ambiance was beautiful and it was quiet too. I loved the art pieces that were in the bar. The menu was very versatile and reasonably priced! There were many appetizers and drinks to choose from. The staff were also friendly and were very helpful if we had any questions! At the end of the night, they came by with a lavender ube tres leches cake with a “Happy Birthday” signatured in chocolate syrup. It was totally unexpected. Overall, I give this place an 11/10 stars. I’m definitely coming back. Thank you for the great service :)

We went back to Stage but had a different and lackluster experience. We waited a while to be greeted at the waiting area. It took a while for our drinks to come; which may have led to diluted drinks. The food we order was the same quality as last time. Good wasn’t crisp or served hot; at best, the food was warm. Like the drinks, the entrees took a while to be served and were cold.

Chose this venue to celebrate our daughter's homecoming after two years of internship on the East Coast. Great menu selections. Our dinner choices included Kurobuta Pork Chops, Beef Wellington, Duck Breast and Mahi. As an appetizer, we chose the Garlic Toast. For dessert we shared Chocolate Haupia ice cream cake, Lilikoi Creamsicle and Mac nut Bar. Very happy with our choices as everything was cooked perfectly, tasted wonderful and of course the presentation was on-point and IG worthy! The food took awhile to get to the table but the wait was worth it. Love the ambience as well, so artsy and modern. Friendly and couteous wait staff. Thank you Crystal for the complimentary Salmon Tataki! Will definitely be back to dine again.

Recommend. This is the 4th visit and Stage never disappoints. Food was exceptional. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Leave with a smile always. I will go back whenever I visit Honolulu. Cannot write any better. Easy free underground parking at the Design Center.

Overall, my company and I enjoyed our experience at Stage Restaurant & Amuse. There were a slight miss of dishes that didn’t live up to par like the rest of the dishes we ordered but that just goes to show everyone has their own favorites and particular preferences. I most certainly enjoyed the patatas bravas whereas my friends do not enjoy the katsuoboshi/bonito flakes on it but I LOVED it. There was a lot of food to try and the star of the show was the pork chop (what a wild card), but it was so juicy and flavorful. And the accompanying pineapples gave it that extra oomph of savory & sweet components.

Hadn't been to Stage Restaurant in 3 years and it was great to find improvement in their food and service. We loved all the items we ordered: Salmon Tataki, Hamakua Ali'i Mushroom salad; Misoyaki Butterfish and their special item of the day---ribeye steak. We got there late so the restaurant was on the quiet side, which suited us fine. The food was wonderful - very tasty. We had two sides and shared the swordfish on risotto special. Loved the Tres Leches dessert with blueberries and ground "crunch". We were pleasantly surprised by a Birthday surprise dessert of Tiramisu on a beautifully decorated "Happy Birthday" Platter. Loved it!

We hadn’t been to Stage since before the pandemic. We were very pleasant surprised with the creative and delicious dishes. We started with the mushrooms with goat cheese and the potatoes. Very good. The butterfish was thoroughly enjoyed as was the fresh catch swordfish with mushroom risotto. The beef Wellington special was superb. We ended with the dreamsicle and chocolate bar desserts. Great finish to a fine meal.

Located adjacent to the Stage Restaurant dining room is the Cupola Gallery - a newly renovated art and furniture gallery that can accommodate up to 22 guests for Chef's Table dinners in its private dining area or up to 150 guests for a standing cocktail reception within the gallery. For casual get togethers, the Bamboo Garden room next door in Amuse Wine Bar can seat 20 guests with room for up to 40 guests standing.
