The award-winning Stables Café is a delightful setting for breakfast, lunch, a light bite or Afternoon Tea. Surrounded by gardens, trees, birds and wildlife, our afternoon tea is served on three-tier cake stands with crisp white linen, Irish silverware, and fine bone china. Head chef of the Estate's 'Stables Café' J.B Dubois freshly prepares three delectable tiers for guests to savour. An Afternoon Tea in Mount Congreve Estate is a unique experience not to be missed.

                                                                                                        Fresh tasting products as advertised. Service was slow and more experienced waitering staff would help move it along. One young men sat my companion at the table I had booked but the other one offered me a window table; it took 20 minutes before we realised what had happened.

                                                                                                        We were a family group meeting for Mothers Day following a tour of the Gardens. The food on the day was excellent everyone was happy. Our location beside a window looking outside was stunning. This was a fabulous day out and I cannot recommend it enough.

                                                                                                        The food was absolutely delicious but the service wasn't great. We had made a booking but there was nobody around to make aware of this and when we eventually did get to speak to one of the staff , he promptly disappeared, so we had to ask another person. It then took 45 mins from ordering to receive our food, no apology for the delay.

                                                                                                        Had a great lunch, and delighted we pre booked as there was a waiting queue for those who did not. It was table service which was a bit delayed as it was so busy. Food was excellent we had the lamb and veggie burger both very flavoursome. €44 for two mains and one dessert. All waitress’s and waiters were very professional and attentive esp Bernie.
