   Great food in lovely surroundings. I particularly enjoyed the Gamberoni starter and my calves liver. Good wines too at OK prices

   Another wonderful evening at St Villa. No need for any menus: wild boar revioli. It's a Tuesday, you can bring your own wine, no corkage charge, so a great rioja I'd got from Cellar Door Wines. We sat inside the restaurant, rather than in an outside pod, as previously. Sadly, it was otherwise empty. Times are hard, but this restaurant deserves support. Great service, as ever, from Stefan.

   The food is excellent, fresh and authentic! Staff were great too and the outdoor space is lovely. Highly recommended

   This is the third time we have eaten here and we had a nice dinner. Service was very good, as was the food. The lamb rack is super tender and tasty but every time I have eaten it, I have had to season it with salt, as it hasn’t been seasoned at all in the kitchen. I have seen other reviews saying the same, so it seems to be a common issue. The chef needs to take heed, as then the meat would be wonderful. Otherwise we really enjoyed our dinner.

   Food was lush and the service was quick and friendly, but I don’t think there was ever more than about 8 people dining while we were there (on a Friday night). They didn’t have the wine we ordered so they let us have a more expensive bottle at the price of the one we chose. The staff were very attentive and allowed us to make small adjustments to our order.

    Went to st Villa and asked for an igloo on line in the comments box. This wasn’t noted but thankfully we were early so managed to get one. Weather wasn’t great and we were slightly forgotten about. However, the staff were very pleasant. The set menu had a good variety of options. One guest had the risotto which did not look appetising but tasted ok. The rest of the food was very nice. Had a cosmopolitan cocktail on the 2 for 1 offer but it wasn’t like any cosmopolitan’s I’ve had before. Last time we went to st villa the food was excellent. We felt this time it wasn’t the same quality sadly.
