St. Tropez - SOHO
Very cool spot, friendly staff, great food and wine!
Good food, Great atmosphere, even better service. It was the perfect place to go with friends that were in NYC for the first time. Flashy without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!
What great experience. So refreshing to have a French restaurant serving very well done traditional French food and avoiding the clichés such as onion soup or snails…We really enjoyed all the meals we ordered, the wine and desserts. The service was great and the décore very nice. We were sitting outside and truly enjoyed our fall experience in Soho! Another big plus for us, there was a real lunch menue during the weekend. Will definitely come back and strongly recommend.
We went for our anniversary dinner here. Got our table immediately as per our reservation. Food was amazing and service was very quick. We will definitely going back here.
Wonderful dinner at St. Tropez Soho. My kale salad, scallops and dessert were all delicious. The service was excellent and the prices most reasonable.
The experience overall was very good. I had been to the West village location several times for drinks and wanted to try it for dinner. It was a birthday celebration. The vibe at the soho location was great, the wine was delicious and the service was very good. The food, though, was just average. I had mussels marinières which we’re plump and juicy but flavorless. That dish is all about the broth for me and it missed the mark. Another in our group had the pulled pork sandwich (with French bbq sauce) that was ok, but not great. Lobster roll was good. Cream-filled brioche dessert was good. It’s a wine bar and I’ll def go back but I’ll probably stick with the wine and charcuterie board next time.
The host was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and very kind. We observed him interacting with everyone and he is great at what he does.
The food was amazing and the wine even better.
Love both the soho and west side locations.
Beautiful evening and friendly wait staff. Heading there again soon!
Unexceptional menu - very little variety. Wait staff was attentive at first but then ignored us for 25+ minutes. Very forgetful experience.
Hahaha… the WORST! Hadn’t had such bad food in a long time!
I didn’t enjoy the quality if the food overall
Great and delicious food and staff was very nice! Get the Fried Shrimp and get the Truffle Mac & Cheese!!
Great food and service!
Truffle mac was so good!
Food was nothing special
Service was slow and inattentive.
This is so nice to eat delicious French food in a quiet street, nice setting. The waiters are nice and diligent. I would definitely go again!
Always a great time and great service here
Very nice staff and yummy food,
A great french restaurant, with great service and atmosphere
Very nice experience, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful!
I wish we would have more space at our table and a place for the coats. Food and service we excellent!
Great and safe spot!
We made a reservation for 8:45 and we got there at 8:45 on the dot and they said they were booked and couldn’t seat us. We didn’t get seated until 9:30 and it was freezing because they couldn’t give us any heaters because they were being used. What’s the point in making a reservation if they don’t reserve the space for you?
Group of 8 had a blast brunching in their outdoor set up!
Excellent experience and service. Very warm place. Thank you :)
St. Tropez restaurant is a gem that everyone who wants to experience the delicacies of French cuisine and the natural charm of France’s Provence should definitively give a try.
As a French man myself, it really reminded of of these local restaurants one can stumble upon on the French Riviera: elegant and memorable.
The quality of the food is jaw-dropping and I would particularly recommend the lamb: it was simply incredible and the portobello sauce really puts this dish amongst my favorite in NYC.
Great experience and very good food!
Service was great, food was delicious and St. Tropez continues to do a great job adapting to COVID - life.
The staff did not let us sit in a heated outdoor table while the space was empty, just because they did not want to make the effort to change our setting. Very poor customer service from them
They sat us outside without a heater when it was very cold. They were slow to serve us and we left after one drink.
We picked this place for the great street-side ambiance in Soho. Food was not that memorable, which I was surprised by since many of these Open Table reviews are so high. Staff was nice and wine was good.
Even if the menu is very French (thrifty), not only the Daube Provençal is worth a sin. In times of Corona the ambience suffers - but not the quality of the food. Anytime again. Even if only for a plate full of daube.
The tap water could be filtered - this is not a big effort and does not influence the taste of the food (even if it is free, it can be good).
And the baguette might be crispier - and the olive oil is not French. But who knows?
Great wine list, and social environment.
We enjoyed St Tropez. Delightful staff, wonderful meal !
loved the burger, zucchini tart, and salmon entree
This is a nice place to have brunch on a weekend. Food was reasonably priced, not an overwhelming menu; didn’t have cocktails though, opted for juice and coffee. We’ll surely come back.
Intimate place with good food and great wine selection. Service can be improved.
Pork belly, Stew just the best for winter time. Apple pie and creme brûlée jus amazing.
