St. Paul’s Fish Company was a great choice for a fish fry. The food was very good and very flavorful. Breading was very light. Definitely make a return to this tasty restaurant. No time to sit and eat, I’ll pick up their take out. It looked great as well. Definitely need a reservation even if you go early. There was a line waiting to get in when we left. (We had an early reservation.) Historic side note. Building was originally utilized as a large freezer for local meat markets back in the day.

Had made reservations two days in advance for a birthday and made the time early so I could get a good booth, but they seat people in booths even if they aren’t having dinner so we got stuck with a bad location. Menu was good and so was the food but waitress didn’t ask me if I wanted a second drink which should always be asked. Overall it was good, but not great.

We were recommended to go to St. Paul Fish Company by friends and colleagues, so for my 50th birthday (3/17/2023) we chose it for the celebration. Our server, Jen, was fantastic. Extremely efficient but very relaxed and patient when explaining some of the menu items. We tried the shark bites (unbelievably good!), creole shrimp, halibut fish fry (generous portion and perfect light panko breading) seafood boil (very generous portions!), lobster roll (as delicious as advertised) and their weekly signature cocktail. The food quality, atmosphere, and friendly, proficient service by Jen couldn't have been better. We're already planning our next visit. Thanks to all the wonderful staff that made this a dinner to remember!

Server was very good and friendly A+! The restaurant was 20 minutes late seating us for a 6:30 reservation which wasn’t great. The food was good, we both had grilled fish which was done well. The sides of rice and zucchini were ok but nothing to write home about. Prices seemed very reasonable given the food quality. Nice to find a fish restaurant which is reasonable in terms of price and quality.

Would have been a”5” but we had calamari appetizer and the calamari was really chewy. We’ve been eating here since it opened and this is the first time we’ve had a complaint! The calamari pieces were huge and not tasty at all. But our fish fry was delicious!

Had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our reserved time but the hostess was very enjoyable to speak with and kept her cool during a very busy time. Service was very polite. Our food came out on a timely basis, was hot and tasty. My walleye was great as usual. Other dishes including scallops, halibut and burger were enjoyed by all. Definitely an energetic place.

We love the fish menu! I had the pan fried walleye with an amazing butter sauce. My husband had grilled shrimp-wonderful! We went early on Friday and got in and out with our any waiting. Can’t wait to go back!

The dining room was completely full with every table occupied. Normally sound level is lower when we visit and there are less tables full. Food was incredible.....Blackened Hallibut was super fresh. Wife had the tuna melt with fries. We love the tuna salad so much we always take 1-2 lbs home for the next week. Daughter got the clam chowder (she said is was Wonderfull) and the lobster roll. Brian was a super server being very attentive.

The prices were reasonable, portions generous. I had AK halibut and veggies, and unfortunately the veggies were MUCH over cooked, mushy and I did not eat them. The carrots were the only thing with any texture, and the seasoning on those was good but the rest was inedible and left on my plate. I did mention to the server when he was clearing that I felt they were significantly overdone. The atmosphere is friendly and not too loud, considering the size of the space. Because the prices were good, I would go back if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to drive to the Mequon location as we did last night.

We had an wonderful dinner Saturday evening. The grilled Grouper entree was excellent. My wife had the Bouillabaisse with a tremendous selection of seafood & fish. Excellent all around. We also had the crab cake appetizer which is very good and primarily crab. We will be back!
