Perfect experience

Always my favorite! Our go to for special occasions and datenights. Best restaurant in Chattanooga! So knowledgeable and top notch. Every dish is a visual masterpiece and a party in your mouth.

Very accommodating as our group was not on time. Service was solid, working well to let us continue conversations. Fois Gras was incredible, easily my favorite preparation ever. All of the meals were outstanding.

We happened to be in Chattanooga over our anniversary, and someone recommended St. John’s to us. It was lovely and perfect. The service was great, our server took the time to describe the menu in detail to us, and in a way that you could tell she knew a lot about food. Everything we tasted was delicious!

One word: sublime. I live in Manhattan, which is a great place to be a foodie. St. John's topped all but a couple of the restaurants at which I've eaten in the City. We shared the meatballs, and then I had the scallops followed by the venison. Everything was fabulous, as was the wine list!

From start to finish, this experience was amazing. I ate here with my girlfriend for her birthday and could not have been happier with how the night turned out. Our server, Shannon, was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections and he was very prompt throughout the entire night. I have lived in Chattanooga for 10 years now and this was my first visit here. I was blown away at how reasonable the prices were and at how well the menu items were prepared. I will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Simply the best food you will find for 100 mile radius of Chattanooga. Creative dishes, good service and all around nice place to have dinner. Very dependable to put an excellent meal on the table.

Went with another couple and had a fantastic time. The entire staff was highly competent and professional. Our waiter, Martin, was engaged and very personable. The food was excellent and nicely portioned.

The atmosphere is very nice. The place isn't really that big but the tables aren't crammed together so much that you feel cramped. We were upstairs and I was surprised that the noise level was louder then it was. We didn't have to shout (or feel like we were in a Library).

We'll be returning.

Relaxing. The only thing I might mention is that it did seem like it took quite a while to get our
Entrees after ordering but we didn't mind because we were enjoying the friends at our table.
This was our second visit and we will be back!

The food is always first class & perfectly prepared. This is a place where I recommend trying something new even if you dont typically care for a particular food style, keep a open mind and try it. The food is prepared in a way that you probably haven't even come close to tasting before. So what you think you probably won't like could possibly be your favorite thing ever.

My table was ready when I arrived. Always get a reservation. Don't have to order off the menu. Just say "Bring me something." Never disappointed.

Excellent menu, excellent food, and excellent service. Our waiter was We had scallops and Brussels sprouts for starters and steak/brisket for entrees and all were wonderful. As were the wines. St. John's is pricey, but we thoroughly eating there for special occasions.

I took my wife here after a movie for our anniversary. You can read other reviews to learn about how good the food is. I will just say that nothing we had was lacking in flavor or presentation. Their venison was extremely delicious.

I was especially delighted in the attentiveness and helpfulness of the wait staff. They were absolutely the best.

The valet parking was only $5. Hard to find valet at that price for such a nice place as this.

My wife and I ate at St John's on our 45th anniversary. We found the restaurant's atmosphere to be pleasant and quiet enough to converse easily and it felt warm and inviting. The service was ok, but we had to wait a while to place our order, and I received a slightly different first course than I thought I had ordered. The problem could have been primarily because I didn't see the other similar dish on the menu.
The food , squash soup with bits of lobster and the 2nd course of medium rare veal was exquisite.

The food was amazing but it was the worst service I have ever had ! It took 30 minutes for drinks on a Monday . The food came out promptly .

One of my favorite restaurants! Always go here when I am in town. And I ALWAYS sit at the counter. Killer wine list. Smart staff.
