Excellent food and service. We had nine people and the service was spot on and the food was perfect. Highly recommend.
We love St John’s! The food is always creative and delicious and the service spot on!
This was our second visit to Chattanooga, and we wanted to enjoy this restaurant again this year. We were so pleased with our meal. The service is also excellent. St John’s is a MUST DO for any Chattanooga visitor.
Amazing. Great staff. Perfect meal.
Highly recommend.. amazing food, wine and service.
The service was good and the restaurant had nice architecture. The bread and butter was great and I am not a bread person. The meal was pretty good. The dessert was good. This restaurant really did not overly impress me but I would not discourage someone to try it for themselves.
Outstanding dining experience! We had the chef’s tasting with wine pairings and it absolutely a culinary delight!
Wonderful dining experience. Exceptional quality and everything was as expected. The entrees were first-rate and the breads and desserts unbelievably good.
Food was really really good. Atmosphere was good as well.
Thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner. They were very gracious about it.
We recently visited St. John's Restaurant for my 50th birthday. What an incredible evening from start to finish. Our waiter Joe was incredible, very knowledgeable about the food and wine menu; his passion for the restaurant was very evident. Every plate was extremely thoughtful, with every ingredient having a purpose. We experienced an array of plates, including shrimp & pimento cheese crackers, butternut squash soup, heirloom tomato salad, pork belly croque madame, duck breast, salmon and black grouper. We would order any of them again. This restaurant is a treasure that we will visit again and again.
Great food! Accommodated us perfectly.
Best food in the city and the atmosphere is wonderful.
Wonderful food and service! The filet and scallops were cooked to perfection!
We loved our dinner at St. John! Great food and great service.
We are from Memphis and have eaten at St. John's twice now on our two most recent trips to Chattanooga.
The food was superb and our server was terrific. There are many small things that you do that are the hallmark of a fine restaurant.
Congratulations on a fine establishment.
This was our first stop on a progressive dinner, so we only had appetizers, but we were quite impressed! The atmosphere was classy, the service was impeccable, and the food was incredible. We look forward to our next visit.
This was a date night with my wife. We had a wonderful time and the food was great. Service was very good and I would recommend this restaurant as a great place to eat.
My husband’s beef and brisket dish was slightly undercooked, and my grouper, otherwise delicious, was badly over salted. My heirloom tomato salad was excellent as were our drinks and wine. Desserts - ice cream and a chocolate crepe brûlée - were good but nothing special. It was very, very noisy - not very romantic or intimate (we were upstairs).
Excellent and delicious in every way. Will definitely return. Food and service were outstanding. Fine dining at its best!
One of the best meals I have ever had and our service was exceptional!
Outstanding food and service! Best restaurant in Chattanooga. Never disappoints.
Hands down, the finest cuisine in Chattanooga. Each and every item on the menu is simply, yet uniquely, delicious. The kind of dining experience that almost takes your breath away, making you stop mid sentence to comment to your dining companions, "oh my... this is heavenly...."
Decor and ambience is understated elegance. Very pleasing atmosphere.
Anniversary which got acknowledged. 37 years!
Excellent food and amazing service! Best restaurant in Chattanooga!
Wonderful experience. Delicious food and atmosphere.
This is restaurant made our anniversary very special. At the top of our menus it read “Happy Anniversary” and we were seated at what I’d consider to be the best table in the restaurant. The service, atmosphere and food were truly superb.
We had not visited this establishment in a long time and so happy it still as good as we remembered. We drove from Atlanta to eat here. Food was excellent. My dad at the Venison and loved it. The dessert, however, stole the show with Basil ice cream... would drive back just to eat it.
First timers and we loved it! Everything was well prepared, beautifully presented and very tasty. Started with a specialty cocktail that was yummy. We will be back.
Josh and the crew at St Johns always provide excellent food fit for foodies and date night.
My Wife and I were passing through. Food was great l, high end place for sure. But the food was amazing .
I would rate this higher than 5 if I could. Everything we ate was incredible, fresh and unique! Great service as well! I recommend the venison!!!
Outstanding meal and a restaurant Chattanooga can be proud of! Can’t wait to go back on my next visit.
Wonderful Anniversary dinner. Attentive wait staff, never had to request a thing! The pace of service was spot on. Slightly slow but a large party of 10 celebrating birthdays were just ahead of us. The meal was superb! Heirloom tomato toast, squash & corn soup with butter poached lobster- absolutely delicious, make sure to enjoy. The Wagyu Beef zabuton Steak was phenomenal! The combination with the cabbage, mushrooms and grits was exceptional! Topping off the evening was a delicious pecan pie. By far, St John’s is the best restaurant we’ve been to in Chattanooga! We will be back!!
On a two week trip we spent 3 nights in Chattanooga and this restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. My husband had one of his favorite appetizers - steak tartare, and we both enjoyed the venizon. It ws nice to have something different.
St. Johns was an amazing experience that I hope to revisit again soon. The food from the first course to the dessert was incredible. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to go someplace special.
We were visiting Chattanooga and decided to try this restaurant one night. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for a second night. The food was delicious with a lot of seasonal selections with fresh local ingredients.
Always fantastic food! This is my go to restaurant in Chattanooga for out of town business guests.
Excellent food and service. Would recommend to anyone. Leave small children at home.
it is good when you invite someone to celebrate any case.
