Phenomenal food and great dining experience overal!
As always, we were not disappointed with our dinner at St. John's Meeting Place.
From the appetizer, two different entrees, a shared dessert, and bottle of wine
everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive.
Always so good!
Seasonal dishes were delicious. Try the beet salad. The filet was cooked perfect and a nice cut. Trout was good. Service was good...not great, but blame that on our waiter getting triple seated. We tried both Meeting place and St Johns restaurant. Our meal at Meeting Place was half the price and food was just as good.
Valentines Day dinner. Food and service was superb!
Excellent service and food. A little breezy where we sat.
We weren’t super hungry and they had a lot of small plates to choose from, which was perfect. Our waiter’s recommendations were spot on and so was his service. We will definitely be back!
The Meeting Place offers Small Plates and Large Plates. One can choose as many as they wish. We chose one of each and it was plenty of food for us. We ordered a dessert board for two and it was the right amount for the two of us. The coffee was particularly good and we learned it was from a local company.
We’ll definitely return to the Meeting Place.
Enjoyed the Valentine's day menu. Especially the dessert.
Enjoyable dinner with several business colleagues. We didn't know that there would be fairly loud live music, so we weren't able to have the conversations we'd hoped for (there were eight of us, and we could only hear one person away). But food was good, and service appropriately attentive.
Excellent food, as always!
Wonderful meal and service! Been going here for years. The only complaint would be the restrooms need to be updated a bit (water stains on ceiling, peeling paint/caulk, mineral build-up on the faucets etc).
very enjoyable! The French 75 cocktails and the scallops were divine!
Always amazing food at Meeting Place! The fillet was cooked to perfection!
We always love The Meeting Place.. . It was our first date restaurant before we married. We invited our friends to join us last Saturday. We also go to ST. John's next door a lot for fancier special occasions.
The atmosphere and food was terrific. I suggest making reservations, like we did, because the place is almost always busy.
Amazing as usual! A little chilly by the door, but that is my only complaint.
The food was absolutely amazing! Very unique flavors and it wasn’t nearly as expensive as I would’ve guessed. Excellent spot for a date. The wines were amazing and the cheese plate was the perfect complement. I’ll definitely be back.
The food was tasty and several gluten free items made the menu varied. My friend and I ordered two small plate options and shared a large plate for our dinner, which made for a satisfactory and filling meal. A plus...the large plate was divided in the kitchen and brought on separate plates to us. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, but as room filled it appeared to be shy of sufficient wait-help. We had to wait longer than typical for our bill and take home carton. I don’t fault the waiter. He had multiple tables and a full house. We arrived at 6:15, and by 7:15, the place was packed, and noisy which made conversation difficult across our small table. Still, I would recommend the restaurant to friends, but add that’s it’s best to get there early.
Jonathan our server was fab. He mad good recommenda
Service was great. Menu needs more seafood and there no salads listed,
Wine selection was missing pintos
St. John's Meeting Place is adjoined to St. John's Restaurant. It has a terrific menu that is reasonably priced with a combination of dishes from hamburgers to scallops. You can be casual or dressed up. The crowd is a combination of all age groups. It is great that Chattanooga has a restaurant like St. Johns Meeting Place or its sister restaurant St. Johns.
Excellent dinner before the Pops concert. The wait staff was prompt and courteous and the food was very good.
Acceptable restaurant, but the food was way over salted and the wine list way over priced. This would make a great venue for French bistro type restaurant with classic bistro meals (think blanquette de veau, etc.)and value wine (think Southern Rhone and Beaujolais).
We love Meeting Place as a regular for us. The food is always beautifully prepared (in our eyes) and presented. Their drinks are well-made - no retail mixing here, and they have a superb, full wine list. Finally, they have sufficient food offerings to satisfy most palates. They lean a bit more on the meat side than fish, but everything is tasteful and multi-faceted.
The food was OK but not nearly as good as expected. Everyone raves about the burgers so that it what we all tried. They were under-whelming to say the least. No flavor at all and the buns were still frozen. On the bright side the fries were excellent. The duck tacos were also very tasty but the warm- mozzarella was not, nor was it warm.
Fabulous food and excellent service!
St. John's Meeting Place is our favorite! Whenever we need a date night, this is where we go! The menu changes to reflect seasonal items and the food is always amazing. They make a great cocktail too!
Delicious food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. What more could you ask for?
My daughter is gluten intolerant and the staff worked very hard to come up with a kid friendly dish for her! It was a much appreciated gesture, even if she went with the beef tartar.
