Another flawless dinner. Incredible!
Always such a personable and fabulous experience, you truly feel like you are the only customer in the whole restaurant! Food is superb, hands down the best filet I’ve ever had, both times!
We were in from out of town visiting friends and they recommended Mtg. Place. The outside of the restaurant is super cute and reminds me of a brasserie you'd find in France. Our group started off by sharing a couple of small plates. The tartare was very flavorful but the goat cheese fritters were the real winner. I could have ordered 3 more of those! For entrees, my husband got the steak frites with truffle fries. The porkchop was cooked appropriately and the truffle fries were super tasty. I ordered the duck tacos (which are another small plate) and they were delicious! The combination of the sweet strawberry salsa balanced nicely with the jalapeno crema. My friend ordered the patty melt and the one bite I had was super flavorful. All in all, it was a great meal!
Great food and drinks and attentive service. Definitely recommend!
We asked for a table that we wouldn’t have to share our conversation and I did ask for a window seat or upstairs at 6pm but had no ideas there w be a table of 24 at 630 sitting right next to us it was very very loud had to have a nice romantic dinner with all the noise and the server could have checked on us more otherwise our food was great
One of my favorite places in Chattanooga! Always have a wonderful time with amazing cuisine.
Relax environment. Diverse enough menu make everyone happy. Excellent coattails.
Our server was excellent and we had even better food. The most tasteful roasted chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Will definitely be back
We had an excellent dinner and there was very personal attention given to the person in our party who was celebrating his birthday.
The Meeting Place is a great restaurant and a fantastic date spot. The food was perfect!!!!!!
Very good food
Friendly. service, but kind of slow
Best butter pecan ice cream ever
As always the starters were excellent, the trout was a delicious choice, and the dessert was
perfection! We have never had a bad meal here, and the service is always good!
Service was not very good at all. The ticket ran long. The sever was not as friendly as she could of been or should have been. Expensive for the amount of food you received. Extremely loud last night. However the food did taste good. But was expecting a larger serving per the menu than what was received.
We had a 6:30 reservation and arrived on time. Our server, and the restaurant in general seemed overwhelmed. We had to rush through our dinner to get to a 8 pm show.
Jake was an awesome server! He was prompt and attentive when necessary but not bothersome. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Food was outstanding. Everything came as ordered even with menu changes/substitutions. For me the only drawback was the noise level with loud conversations driven by the music. But that’s the desired atmosphere for the Meeting Place. It was a great experience and I will go back again.
Superb. This restaurant would thrive in any city.
Great food and drinks!
There was six of us, we all had different dishes so we could try several dishes. Everything was cooked as ordered. My lamb tenderloin was outstanding. Will be back!!
WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Thursday night is Jazz night with AMAZING talented musicians!!!! The food is WONDERFUL and the Staff are kind and thoughtful! In our opinion...St. John's and Meeting Place are the BEST restaurants in Chattanooga!
Phenomenal food and great dining experience overal!
As always, we were not disappointed with our dinner at St. John's Meeting Place.
From the appetizer, two different entrees, a shared dessert, and bottle of wine
everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive.
Always so good!
Seasonal dishes were delicious. Try the beet salad. The filet was cooked perfect and a nice cut. Trout was good. Service was good...not great, but blame that on our waiter getting triple seated. We tried both Meeting place and St Johns restaurant. Our meal at Meeting Place was half the price and food was just as good.
Valentines Day dinner. Food and service was superb!
Excellent service and food. A little breezy where we sat.
We weren’t super hungry and they had a lot of small plates to choose from, which was perfect. Our waiter’s recommendations were spot on and so was his service. We will definitely be back!
The Meeting Place offers Small Plates and Large Plates. One can choose as many as they wish. We chose one of each and it was plenty of food for us. We ordered a dessert board for two and it was the right amount for the two of us. The coffee was particularly good and we learned it was from a local company.
We’ll definitely return to the Meeting Place.
Enjoyed the Valentine's day menu. Especially the dessert.
Enjoyable dinner with several business colleagues. We didn't know that there would be fairly loud live music, so we weren't able to have the conversations we'd hoped for (there were eight of us, and we could only hear one person away). But food was good, and service appropriately attentive.
Excellent food, as always!
Wonderful meal and service! Been going here for years. The only complaint would be the restrooms need to be updated a bit (water stains on ceiling, peeling paint/caulk, mineral build-up on the faucets etc).
very enjoyable! The French 75 cocktails and the scallops were divine!
Always amazing food at Meeting Place! The fillet was cooked to perfection!
We always love The Meeting Place.. . It was our first date restaurant before we married. We invited our friends to join us last Saturday. We also go to ST. John's next door a lot for fancier special occasions.
The atmosphere and food was terrific. I suggest making reservations, like we did, because the place is almost always busy.
Amazing as usual! A little chilly by the door, but that is my only complaint.
The food was absolutely amazing! Very unique flavors and it wasn’t nearly as expensive as I would’ve guessed. Excellent spot for a date. The wines were amazing and the cheese plate was the perfect complement. I’ll definitely be back.
The food was tasty and several gluten free items made the menu varied. My friend and I ordered two small plate options and shared a large plate for our dinner, which made for a satisfactory and filling meal. A plus...the large plate was divided in the kitchen and brought on separate plates to us. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, but as room filled it appeared to be shy of sufficient wait-help. We had to wait longer than typical for our bill and take home carton. I don’t fault the waiter. He had multiple tables and a full house. We arrived at 6:15, and by 7:15, the place was packed, and noisy which made conversation difficult across our small table. Still, I would recommend the restaurant to friends, but add that’s it’s best to get there early.
Jonathan our server was fab. He mad good recommenda
Service was great. Menu needs more seafood and there no salads listed,
Wine selection was missing pintos
