Mussels below average, with mediocre sauces. Beer selection good. Smell of floor cleaning fluids was also distracting...

This is a great, casual place to unwind. Split a pot of mussels and a couple drinks with my partner. Really good flavors, reasonable price, decent service, and a comfortable outdoor space. We'll be back.

Service was poor - server called out, but it meant that no one even came to our table for 20 minutes and then each piece of the process was slow. Soup came out with entrees. Food was delicious.

If you like mussels, this place is awesome. I was never a huge fan of mussels but went here with my partner because he loves mussels and I saw that it was near our house and was ranked by the City Paper as the 2nd best mussels in DC. Now I crave them! It's a small rustic beer and mussel joint with wooden tables, chairs, and a small bar. Thay have mussels in about 15 different possible sauces. I have tried several and all have been very good, but the St. Arnold's mussels and Eastern Shore mussels are exceptionally good. Great specials at happy hour every weekday and brunch on the weekend.

went to St. Arnold's with a friend who also loves mussels. The mussels were good, not great, and the wine list was extremely limited, although the beer list was extensive. The salad that could be substituted for the fries that normally come with the mussels was "meh". was an ok dining experience, probably would not be my first choice for mussels1

Had a great time letting off some steam with coworkers after a meeting, and the trivia was a lot of fun. Some in the group wished the wine selection was bigger, and my Thai Curry mussels were not as good as i had remembered but all in all it was a good night.

The mussels never disappoint! And the grapefruit beer was awesomesauce :-). The waitress was very nice and gave my sister a sample of the beer before ordering it. She also warned us 10 minutes before the end of happy hour to place last minute beer orders. I'll be back for sure
