St Andrews Beach Brewery
Here at St Andrews Beach Brewery we like to keep things simple and uncomplicated— the way life ought to be. Our property is pretty spectacular; people say “there’s nothing else like it”.
Our brewery calls the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria home. Set on a 92-acre property which was once home to one of Australia’s premier horse training facilities and proudly boasts a 1,200m grass racing track (now an exceptionally large fruit and vegetable patch!)
We have blended old with new and nature with engineering— combinations that you just can’t find in the city. Here our air is clean, our grass a little greener (that's how we like to see it anyway). Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow our own hops, let the chickens roam free and spend our days crafting and pouring great brews right from our stable doors.
Great atmosphere/ the stalls were great for our party of 8
A family get together for a birthday - perfect place that suits all groups, kids and parents both had a wonderful time!
Great venue, all service staff were amazing and we had a fantastic day. Thank you :)
Amazing will go again - the food was to die for !!
21 st Birthday
Absolute 1st class venue, terrific food & customer service.
We did have to wait a little long for kids meals that should have perhaps arrived before adult meals
The only negative was the young group of Males in the next stable were extremely noisy and all our group had trouble hearing each other but throughly enjoyed it when they finally left !! Staff were lovely and very attentive, ran the day extremely well. Have been a few times and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and would definitely go again.
Excellent but quirky venue, service from friendly staff complimented the setting. For both racing and non racing people looking for something different, this is the place.
had A lovely lunch . Great venue good food great staff
Would highly recommend 😀😀
WE HAD BEEN RECOMMEMNDED TO THE BAR BY A FRIEND AND IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT. What a great place to have a leisurely Sunday afternoon gathering. The horse stalls were large and well fitted out so we were not squashed in. When seated you could hardly hear any noise from other groups which was fantastic for my husband who wears hearing aids. Yet you didn't feel enclosed and were able to soak up the great atmosphere around. We will be back.
Beautiful place to eat & socialise. Love the renovated stables. Staff are very helpful & friendly.
Would definitely recommend to friends & family.
Food was yum, beers were good so I heard. Think there should be more cider or spirits. It's a great place. My family was not impressed that the playground is opposite the toilet, esp. when we noticed some Male patrons walking out of the toilets still doing up their pants walking right next to the playground and all of our children.
We were in the private stable with our group and that attracts table service which is nice. Great food and service although the food came out a bit quick... but the honeycomb cheesecake was an epic finish. Our 2nd time there and only an hour’s drive from Melb which is perfect.
Really great venue whether just dropping in to the casual area or booking one of the private converted horse stables. Great vibe, staff were terrific and food tasty, well presented and well priced. Will definitely be back.
This venue is great for a group of people . The food, staff and wine or beer is wonderful. A booking is advisable . It’s less busy during the week but anytime is s good time . We will be back there with other friends .
The venue is fantastic, the service was great. However the food was disappointing the chicken burger was very greasy and hot spicers.maybe a fruit platter on the dessert menue, would be a good idea.
Honestly this chef has no passion for food! Get a new one I've been here twice now.. 20 cent piece of Mayo if that, whole bun covered in jalapeno sauce disgusting & soggy & then crumbed basically a piece of chicken with skin & fat on it....Inedible. Service non existent, we all left our food & not once where we asked how was everything, the girl knew we hated it yet clearly told not to ask! Simply not good enough & we won't be back that's for sure. All smoke & mirrors...
Nice building. we were told we had a stall for 3 hrs from 5pm but when we arrived we were told the place closed at 7pm on the Sunday evening. Food was ok but overpriced. Service was slow. Beer was good.
I loved the Wagu beef burger with my Hefeweizen beer
Love this place! Very busy on Australia Day but really well managed. Service excellent & not too long to wait. Didn’t really need live music - at first thought might be too noisy as SO many people but worked out ok.
Only negative comment with volume of people need to check & clean toilets more regularly.
A great place to catch up with friends. We enjoyed the bustling ambience
Great service and atmosphere. Wish the live music went all day!
Fantastic venue and great service. Very enjoyable day.
The stables were great
Took my parents who thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings, friendly, welcoming service and the food and drink. For people who love the racing industry, it was a trip down memory lane.
Ample parking, clean amenities, and reasonable prices. Screens to watch sport was an added bonus too.
Will definitely recommend and we intend to return in not too distant future.
Our group enjoyed our lunch. Great ambience. very prompt service for lunch. The staff were friendly, attentive and didn't rush us out from the table. The food was reasonably priced. Plenty of parking with the overflow carpark.
Loved the old stables....checked every horse highlighted. Celebrated a birthday in style. Kid-friendly restaurant. Perhaps a few more vegetarian options on the menu would be good. Overall - top experience
Excellent relaxed venue, casual food and attentive service
Great experience had by all..
We had lunch and the meals were taking a little bit longer then expected..
The waitress came over and said the meals where 5 minutes away and gave us a round of drinks on the house..
Great service, fantastic venue..
Love having this place just up the road from us. Always have a great day when we visit. 😊
A great place though my only crit could be the slightly slow Seville at the beginning when it's table service . How about some sort of buzzer system when you want to order drinks or for from a "stable" to call the staff? Just an idea. Otherwise very good.
All great but pizzas came quicker than the other meals and the beers for tastings were a let down. Ex Freeman Stable private dining room areas are a great idea, very private for group bookings. Yellowfin tuna with capers and rocket orecchiette a stand out!
We had a great day celebrating my husband's 40th. The service is always amazing and we loved the food!
We enjoyed celebrating a 60th birthday in one of the stables. Food was great and table service attendant very friendly and welcoming. Recommend the sweet potato fries and hamburgers delicious. Venue easy to find.
This was the 2nd time we have been to have lunch . The 1st time was in the bar and this time we booked a booth or stable . I can highly recommend the experience . The one on one service provided for our table was excellent and we were never waiting for a top up of drinks or to wait for our meals .I think if you had a gathering of between 6 and 20 people booking 1-3 stable booths would be perfect . I love a punt and if the races were on the screens in the booths it would be perfect place to watch the quaddie legs of a race meeting with friends and have a meal and a few ales while watching . I urge every one to go and see for them selves it is a real winner . Make sure you book if you want a booth as they are very popular .
Very nice for family lunch. Child friendly. Casual
Fabulous use of an old racehorse training complex. Can eat outside or book an old stable , which has s racehorse name on it. Food lovely, staff great
I celebrated my 40th birthday lunch in one of your stables (Doriemus) on Sunday 13th Jan and I was thrilled with the food and service. Your venue is amazing and your staff are a credit to you. Everyone that came was incredibly impressed and we will all be back very soon!
Great for family and friends, good food and wine. We had a stable which was fun.
We absolutely loved our afternoon at St Andrew’s Beach Brewety. It was delicious, fun and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back.
