It was my niece’s 2nd Birthday and we wanted to go out and celebrate...with the two year old. We had two kids under 4 and this experience could have been so much different. We were warmly welcomed and the kids’ needs were put first. No kids menu but they accommodated some menu items for us and we had a great experience. I will 100% go back and recommended this location to everyone. Thank you for embracing hospitality.
Food was amazing and service was great too!
Very nice atmosphere; service was excellent, the menu choices were robust. The food was prepared in pleasing to the eye and it was quick. The meats were done exactly as requested. I do think some of the soups (like corn chowder) and side dishes (like the pasta ) need some additional spice or flavor. They just didn't have the pizazz we expected or desired. Not that anything was not tasty but a couple of items just didn't stand out in flavor. The ambiance was excellent. Needs more advertising for people to find this fairly new restaurant. We enjoyed our evening.
We come Jeter every time we come to Bozeman, the food, service, and ambiance are well worth the stop! Cheers!!
My companion and I dined here on Thursday. She had the scallops w/ mushroom risotto and I had the braised short ribs. She said that the it was delicious. My short ribs were extremely tender and very flavorful. Our server/ bartender Brittney was awesome. She was really knowledgeable about wines, drinks and food. We followed all of her selections and were not disappointed. Will definitely return to further explore their delicious sounding menu offerings
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Squire House.....food and service were both excellent. We would eat there again the next time we're in Bozeman.
It was quiet in the restaurant because we were there between lunch and dinner, so we don't know how noisy it can get in the evening, but we enjoyed quiet conversation during our meal.
Great food. Great service!
The Staff is amazing! They make you feel like you are the most important person in the room. The Brussel Sprouts are heavenly!
First time trying Squire House. Found them through OpenTable. Arrived on time for our reservation, but was told they had no tables available. We could sit at the ‘chef’s bar’ in view of the kitchen, or the bar. We could see 4 available tables, but she assured us there was not one for us. We did sit at the chefs bar. The food was amazing, but it was very difficult to have a conversation. There were available tables throughout our stay. Not sure I’d go back.
First time at Squire House, lovely place, food was excellent, service ok; the owner was great!
A good venue for a special occasion. Not extremely busy for a Friday night.
This place could have been in any big city. It was great.
Great staff. Food was delicious. Brussels are a must. Fantastic wine selection
Burned broccolini and over cooked elk burgers w charred buns—no taste. I hate giving bad reviews and really don’t but wasn’t worth what we paid. :(
This was our third time dining there; they never disappoint! Excellent food & service!!
My new favorite restaurant in Bozeman! The owner was so friendly and brought us beignets on the house. All of our food was fantastic!
First time in Bozeman, checked out reviews and they had it right! Food was terrific! crisp salad! Got my filet right temperature and it was very tender. Delicious sides. My husband had Elk bolognais ...delicious !Waitress was helpful and friendly.
A great spot for a quick drink as well. Do not miss if you find yourself in downtown Bozeman. You won’t be disappointed.
This is a modern restaurant with a creative menu. The service was outstanding and the food was perfectly prepared. Two of us had steak - which was perfectly cooked - and one of us had the shrimp scampi. Everything was delicious. We also had the calamari as an appetizer which has a unique curry slaw on top of basic deep fried calamari. I loved the slaw...but I think you have to like curry to enjoy this because my daughter wouldnt eat it. We also had the Beignets for dessert which were so delicious! They come with homemade whip cream and chocolate sauce for dipping. One order is enough for the table to share. That was a crowd pleaser!
Food was great and the owner (at least I think he was) was super nice and welcoming! Enjoyed chatting with him. Oh and have their beignets!! It was amazing.
We absolutely loved this place. we were visiting from out of town and had no idea of what we were walking into. The owner was very hospitable and the food was amazing. The service started out a little slow even though they were not very busy but got better as the dinner progressed. Definitely a must if you are in town!
Menu is fun and diverse, food amazing, and service exceptional! If you leave without trying the Brussels Brava you will regret it!
Good food, exceptional service, nice ambience, a little on the pricey side
Went to dinner with my family and girlfriend. Everyone's meal was cooked perfectly and tasted great. One of the best restaurants I have been to in Bozeman.
Wife and I enjoy this place; energetic personable servers, cheerful chefs, sunny ambiance, fair prices, and fun, tasty drinks.
High end dining at a reasonable price. Great cocktails. Had a lovely evening, thanks so much!
Gray meal- we enjoyed our date
The dessert and calamari was fantastic. However my steak was burnt (or broiled to long), my potato purée was actually unseasoned mashed potatoes. The French onion soup was super sweet. Drinks from the bar were fabulous. I would try again in the hopes that the food was better.
I took out-of-town guests to the Squire House because of the variety in the menu. Everyone in my party enjoyed the space, the food, and the service. The owner gave us complimentary beignets for dessert. . .omg, they were so good. Great place for a quality meal for a reasonable price.
Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. Nice selection of wines. Atmosphere was fun and interesting.
Nice place, limited selection of food choices, but what they did serve was well prepared.
All of our food was excellent. The restaurant was not busy but especially for drinks it took a little while to get. Drinks were outstanding.
Great food and service. It was such a nice quiet setting to have an anniversary dinner with my wife.
The restaurant was a refreshing change from the fast food selection near my hotel about 10-15 minutes away. I started with a crisp cold Caesar salad. My main entree was the scallops with risotto. Everything was quite tasty. The wait staff is attentive and aim to please.
Excellent food, helpful service, a bit spendy but good for a night out
We had a wonderful dinner everything was prepared wonderfully and cooked to perfection
The food and service were outstanding. Great wine selection. Many options for dinner. Katie has the duck and I had Elk Bolognese.
Absolutely wonderful service! Made sure we were well taken care and also ready to answer any questions we had.
The owner greeted us and took great care to make sure everything was taken care of. The server was very professional and efficient. I think she could have benefited from another server. It seemed like she needed help even though the owner provided support. A busser who could also poor water probably would have been helpful for her.
Exceptional dining experience in all respects. The owner and staff are inviting and engaging, the menu is diverse, and our meal was outstanding. The cocktail menu is creative and the talented bar and wait staff surpassed expectations. The decor is a charming blend of "authentic Montana" in one section and (to my eye) a touch upscale modern in another, with seemingly the right setting for most any occasion. Although we dined indoors, the well-lit patio area featured a guitarist and was packed upon our departure. Did I mention that the meal was outstanding? It's worth repeating. Exactly the right choice for our date night, and we will recommend enthusiastically to friends and colleagues.
I wanted to love this place but the food was subpar.
The owner (I presume) was awesome and service was wonderful.
The food came out so late and it just wasn’t worthy of that price point. Not to be too fussy-but I got regular white rice with my mushroom risotto. Not okay!
