Overall the restaurant was cool and trendy. The food was not amazing but not bad. We all four agreed that our meals were bland. The service was alright, not amazing but also not terrible. For the price, I would expect more overall.

Our server Jennifer was amazing!! She helped us promptly with everything we needed or asked for, and was so kind throughout the whole evening. Only complaint is sirloin steak was not the nicest cut of meat, very tough and for that money, not worth it. If you’re so inclined financially, you are better off going with the strip or filet. Otherwise, everything was delicious! And again, Jennifer was the true gem of our evening!

Absolutely fantastic food. The highest quality and care. Truly unique things on the menu. The owner came out multiple times to ask how our experience was. We went on live music night which was a little loud until our ears adjusted but the music was great.

This was our third time at Square 22. The previous visits were outstanding for both quality of food as well as the service. This time however was little disappointing. The service was slow; from the time we gave the server our order until we actually got our food, it took nearly an hour. Perhaps because it was a holiday weekend and the place was crowded, but our server was not very attentive. Maybe she was spread across too many tables;, but, usually when the kitchen gets backed up, a good server will make sure to keep replenishing beverages and letting people know the status of their order; our server did very little of that. The biggest disappointment was my husband's steak. He ordered it medium and it came out rare; but, he was reluctant to send it back because of how long it took for our order to come out in the first place. I won't give up on Square 22, because of how good our prior visits were. I know they can do better.

The lunch menu was fantastic! Brûlée chicken sandwich was delicious! The owner/manager came over a couple times to check on us and even gave my daughter a chef t shirt. Our server was very quick and friendly.

Unfortunately maybe it was an off night. Something was off with the food. Not as flavorful and high quality as other times we have been there. We frequent at leave 1-2x/ month. The service was also off. We received soup & salad and within 2-3 min our main course arrived. Bummer

Square 22 offers a nice ambiance with lots of variety for both indoor and outdoor seating, high tops, booths, bar, and regular table seating. The ambiance is stylish and staff were attentive and took great care of us. We enjoyed the menu variety and quality of the food served was very good. Will definitely return.

Great food! Had the swordfish and salmon. Both were fresh tasting and the seasoning was wonderful. Loved the assortment of mushrooms with the swordfish. Our waitress was efficient but not overbearing.

"JUMBO" chicken wings @ $16.00 for 7 were not jumbo. NY Strip steak at $45.00 was way over priced. Food was excellent, service was good, but the prices for every item were outrageous. $169.00 for 2 people id high

Food was excellent! Our waiter, Steve, did a great job. The restaurant was crowded for a Tuesday night. All staff appeared to be working well together dispite the challenges many businesses are facing by being under staffed.

Physically beautiful restaurant; patio areas very nice. Main level bar area very nice size; bartenders attentive. Lower level bar area cozy. Views of the Chagrin River and Falls major plus. Decent menu with good selections. Scratch-made biscuits addictive. We are repeat customers. Great restaurant in a lovely walkable area.
