Reminiscent of our food, Spring Natural's space brings together the familiar and the time-honored with a fresh, new, modern sense.
Food was excellent but server was overwhelmed with other tables. Also, they only had 1 half bottle of the pinot grigio and for a Saturday night that seemed weird. Lastly, the only other pinot grigio was organice and vegetarian and it was bad.
The restaurant was relaxed and comfortable. It was a team lunch and the setting was perfect. Everyone had a great time.
I became violently ill right after leaving the restaurant. When I regained some strength I called the restaurant and the manager said he would reimburse me for the meal. I haven’t gotten notification from Amex as yet. I hope the manager will keep his word.
Hadn't been there for awhile - it sort of fell off may radar. Four of us went to dinner and all of us enjoyed our meals. Love that there's open space between the tables and the waitress was upbeat and friendly. Ate the stir fry with brown rice and tofu and it was deliciously seasoned. Friends had the salmon burgers and were very pleased. Wanted to order the stirfry and have it delivered tonight - a testament to how good it was - but despite the order being $18 the website said the order needed to be over $15 for delivery - and wouldn't put it through. Tried twice.
Everything was awesome
I selected Spring Natural Kitchen bc I was dining with my Vegan friend, the selection and variety of the food was excellent - and I ended up also eating Vegan. The atmosphere was good although we ate early and there were a lot of small children (UWS probably and time of day). The initial service was a little wonky, but in the end, the wait staff was good. We had a wobbly table and it took a bit for them to fix it and get our drink order.
I love the Soho location but was extremely disappointed in the UWS restaurant. I live in the area and had high expectations.
We were there for a celebration, the wait staff was inattentive, meals came out st varying times. Food was mediocre which I’ve not experienced in soho branch.
I had a 12pm reservation for 14. When I arrived, there were at least 10 of my group waiting. The host said to give him a few minutes. At 12:10, I asked what was taking so long, he said give him 5 minutes, that they’re getting the table ready. About 5 minutes later, I asked if they were waiting for another group to get up from a large table so they could seat us. He said yes. That wasn’t right. We should not have had to wait for another party to leave (or be pushed out) so that we could be seated. A table should have been ready for us. While i don’t know how long that party had been there, I would not want to be asked to leave, and I’m sure the other party wasn’t. We were seated when they left and the tables were cleaned and set. While I know this is not a big restaurant, we were crowded. Several tables had been pushed together against the solid seat back, with 6 on one side, 7 on the other side, and 1 on the end of the solid seating. There was only 1 way to get in or out. People against the solid wall had to ask several people to get up if they needed to use the restroom, and the people at the next table were not happy if anyone did that.
While I love this restaurant, I don’t know that I will ever be able to bring another large group here to introduce them to the wonderful food.

Reliable food but I think the kitchen didnt plan for the number of tables with the outside open. Food took forever and servers overwhelmed. The atmosphere needs some work, really drab in there.
tons of options for different dietary restrictions and the food was fresh and yummy! A little on the expensive side for a student, but it was perfect for a graduation dinner or a nice night out.

Love this restaurant! Have been to Spring Natural Kitchen for brunch twice but never for dinner. There are so many wonderful options and I can’t wait to come back for either now. Absolutely fresh food and the chef is willing to work with special dietary needs. I came with two friends who had not been here before and they couldn’t stop raving about the food!
I have been a fan of this restaurant since it opened. We waited quite a long time and had to request that a waiter come over to take our order. I ordered a burger medium and it arrived totally well done. Then they brought me another Burger was medium, except the middle was raw.
Nothing special, chicken salad came out cold to the table with dressing on the side although not requested it. Service was pretty slow. They need to work on the ambiance, looks very disorganized
The waiter was absent-minded and ordered and served me the wrong dish without much apology and no price break. I would go back because the food is good and they have fun cocktails.
Always ate at the one downtown and was excited to see one open on the UWS. Food is excellent. Service is great!
The food is fresh, healthy and delicious and there's something on the menu for everyone at SNK. I especially loved my quinoa/avocado/beet/squash/chickpea salad which was big enough for 4 people to share as an appetizer and the homemade sangria. From burgers to Mediterranean dips to organic salmon, our large party loved their dishes and all head great things to say!
Disappointed with the gluten free bread. I heard the new chef doesn’t know how to make it. Too bad.
So disappointed by the experience. We came because of their original rating of 4.2/5 which is absolutely unrealistic and makes the whole rating system absolutely unreliable.
We booked via opentable and when we arrived on time, the table was not ready and they did not care about the reservation. They had to set the table and we litterally waited for an hour to get 4 servings out of 7 and then an additional 15 min for 3 more and my 6yo son was the last one to be served a kid menu burger!!!! Appauling. There was obvioulsy a lack of people in the kitchen and one guy from the kitchen came to help serve!!! The manager was doing absolutely nothing to help and seemed to not know what to do. The food was average. At the end, we asked for the drinks to be offered and we ended up with a very poor 10% discount and the manager did not even come to apologize! An extremely poor overall experience and a huge waste of time and money.
We enjoyed our lunch very much. The service was friendly and attentive.
We will not return to this restaurant. The service was nearly nonexistent- the waiter seemed to be bothered by the fact that we were there. The food came out lukewarm or cold. The dishes had very little flavor. We would have said something (and even sent some of the food back) but we could not flag down our waiter, and there seemed to be no manager on staff. This place was recommended as a top place for brunch on the upper west side. If this is the best the UWS has to offer for brunch, my recommendation is to go to a different neighborhood.
The food was mostly good, the drinks were very small for the price and value with the exception of the cappuccino that comes in a bowl. The service was the worst part. Our server, Angel, had an attitude every time he came to our table, which was few and far between. When a bread server brought bread they brought three slices... extremely odd number considering there was 5 of us... at least bring one piece per person. We had to call the server back over to ask them to bring more bread and again they brought another 3 slices. So odd. Angel never asked us if we wanted another round of drinks and every time someone came by to refill water they would refill a glass or two but not others that were low. Then we waited forever for our bill and had to eventually ask another server for it and when I handed our server the bill with the forms of payment I also had a $20 bill and asked for change for it for the tip and he disappeared for 15 mins then passed by our table three times without coming back with my change, our credit cards, or even looking at us. And the restaurant by this point was almost empty. I finally had to ask for my change and he reluctantly walked away again and took another 4 mins to come back with it. Seemed like he honestly didn’t want to be there which is a shame because based on the food we would go back but moreso based on the service we never will. Very disappointed.
Usually I'm a huge fan of Spring Kitchen.
And I understand that Sunday brunch is very busy, but we sat waiting for our food for 35 minutes. When it came, it was barely warm. Very hard to get any server's attention, and way too loud.
Loud, terrible service, so-so food. This place has really declined.
service was pretty terrible. The hostess was rude to us when we arrived because our complete party had not arrived. We had two kids with us who needed to order and there was plenty of room , our table was even ready. We got no attention until our whole party arrived 15 minutes later. Then the service was very slow and tip was included because we had a larger party. Disappointing to say the least - we won't be back.

Very pleasant restaurant, attractive, welcoming, and simple. Food nourishing, healthful, and there are small and larger plates to satisfy many kinds of diets. Many wholesome farm and locally produced foods are available, with fine ingredients. Our server was a delightful young woman. My two visiting friends from Ohio enjoyed our lunch as much as I did.
Me u was varied, food was tasty and interesting. Didn’t love the chickpea fries. Loys if healthy options. good portion sizes . Pretty restaurant
Staff was great accommodating 10 of us. it was crowded and noisy, but that was to be expected. Bottomless mimosas and banana pancakes were awesome. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well.
A nice Sunday brunch with friends; delicious food and nice enough atmosphere but service was a bit slow and it was LOUD. We were there 11:30-12:45 and it seemed to empty out and quiet down a bit but by then we were leaving.
We sat next to a family with 3 young children that were totally out of control and unruly. One was yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs, several temper tantrums, lying on the floor...it was completely off-putting, yet no one asked them to leave. My wife’s food as OK, mine was bland bordering on tasteless. I have a wicked sweet tooth and have never had a bad dessert, except here. We will not be returning!
