Overall experience great. Initially waitstaff were detached and not engaged. As our meal progressed the staff warmed up and attitude was no longer a distraction.

Spring Mill is one of the few places in the area that exceed at Foodpairing. If you enjoy nice conversation, appreciate good food and enjoy dining in a historical setting, this is for you.

This has been our go-to place for special occasions for years! Of course, we go when it's not a special occasion, too. It's always a delightful experience in every way. Thank you!

Always enjoy this French restaurant. In a rural setting that makes you feel like you could be in the French countryside. The food is very good. My favorite is the lamb chops and the pate. It is BYO, which reduces the cost somewhat, though it is moderate in price.

We loved the environment, the friendliness of the staff and the warmth of the restaurant. We were a bit disappointed in the NYE food. The cheese plate and dessert were highlights and fabulous. The lobster bisque was delicious but no lobster. The room temperature duck should have been warm. It felt like wedding style service where it was pre-prepped. The swordfish said saffron and capers on the menu, but was served with a dill butter instead. Additionally, we had to pour our own wine every time with included 20% gratuity. Overall, the $90 prix fixe was way too high of a price for what was delivered.

Best meal I had of the year and on Dec 29th that is saying something. Worth asking about prime table away from door/ traffic. That is something I’ll remember next visit.

I have loved the Spring Mill Cafe for years but this last time the food was quite a disappointment. The Vegetable Bouguina had very little flavor and the flourless chocolate cake was only good in the middle.

Food was mediocre - ordered three entrees and loved one, but was not a fan of the others. Also did not enjoy the pate. Service was wonderful, however, and we loved the atmosphere! Pricey, but a nice night out.

We weren’t as pleased as we were with past visits. We felt the service too quick (too efficient) not giving us as friends/diners the time to relax & enjoy the ambience of the cafe or each other’s company.

This was my 4th visit to Spring Mill Cafe and it continues to impress. My GF and I asked my brother and sister-in-law to join us for a pre-holiday get together. It was their first time there. We all enjoyed our appetizers, entrees and desserts. All were very tasty, complex and appropriate in size. Combined with the warm ambiance and friendly service, this was a wonderful evening out with family. Thank for Spring Mill Cafe!

Most delicious meals in Conshohocken hands-down. I've come for brunch once and for dinner twice. The service is outstanding, we love the people at Spring Mill Café. (I'll bring a sweater next time because it's always a little chilly for me, but I don't mind because everything else is perfect!) Thank you!

To thank my mom for a year of watching our baby we took her to our favorite BYOB. The service outshined the food. The café was very busy and we were taken care of from the beginning. To start we shared the trout salad and soup. For entrees two of us had the pork chop, which was said to be the best they've ever had. I had the scallop entrée and was completely satisfied. Dessert was a shining course, the crème brulee and daffodil cake were a delight. We'll be back soon!

Always a cozy romantic french setting with good service and very good food. It is a byob so you can bring along a nice bottle of wine and they will open and chill it. Great desserts especially their Daisy Cake....absolutely delicious. Ive been going to this restaurant for 20 years and I am always pleased. Great ambiance.

My lunch companion and I both ordered something with ham (an omlet, and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich). In both cases we ended up not eating the ham (in the case of the omelet) or having to cut off the heavy skin (rind) of the ham. The last time this happened to me at the Spring Mill Cafe, I was disappointed, but thought it was just an error by a novice in the kitchen who was too lazy to take the time to prepare the ham for eating. Now I am wondering if the chef simply doesn't understand that no one wants to eat that part of a ham. I would certainly never serve it that way to myself or to guests at home. Would he/she? Does he/she ever eat the dishes served? Little ham cubes in which 1/4 is rind are certainly not appealing in an omelet, or in anything else.
I checked "yes" to the "would recommend this cafe to a friend?" question above, but if I come back and have the same experiences, I would not. Sorry.
Otherwise, we liked everything about our lunch.

Our dinner was fantastic. Nathan our server was one of the best I’ve seen. We had a tasting menu for 6 people and the chef was extremely flexible on serving order and timing, as well as matching the food to the wine we brought.

We enjoyed our meals. I had the Sweet Potato Carrot Soup and Scallops with Risotto. The others had Pepper Crusted Pork Chop which they raved about. Two in our party had the Grilled Octopus Salad which they loved. My only issue was that I was charged $15 for two bottles of Sparkling water. Far too much IMO

Spring Mill Cafe is always excellent. The restaurant is quaint, intimate, cozy. The wait staff is attentive, friendly, but not pushy. We started with the artichoke salad and the escargot, both very tasty. My wife had the lapin, she loves that dish, very tasty and rich. I had the Pork chop. Although the pork chop was the star of the plate, tender, tasty, nice size, the roasted root vegetables were excellent. For desert we had the flour-less cardamom almond cake and peppermint ice cream ,so very flavorful, delicious. Great evening.

Everything was stale and cold. The croissants ($7 bucks were 3 minis). were hard and dry and black at the bottom. No better than two day old pillsbury crescent roles. The “house made” brioche was stale and hard in the middle. The breakfast potatoes were again undercooked and slightly warmed up in the microwave. Everything else was about as good or even worse than La Madeline’s. I will NEVER return.
